Treasure was a happy mare, always on the go and asking questions. She was much like her mother, always wanting to meet more Soquili and learn eveything she could about the land and it's inhabitants. However...she had met only a few and had not any real friends yet to speak of. As the dawn had touched the sky, she'd resolved that today would be different. Headstrong and determined, she greeted the new morning with a gallop, seeking out the first soul to come into her sight, determined that she WOULD end this day with a friend.

With a grunt, the grey alicorn heaved himself through the underbrush shaking his mane out as he moved. It was nice day out. Warm, sunny. So his human decided that he needed to get out.
Moping was unbecoming of a male.
He certanly wasn't moping. He was just...not in the mood. All the females he'd met, had been to caught up in his breed...all wanting the genes that he had.
All of them had been ground walkers.
He understoond now. He understood why his father hated them so much. Lord knew he was close himself.

Treasure was having so much fun, and so lost in how the wind felt in her long mane and tail (not to mention having closed her eyes just to enjoy the sensation all the more) would run right into the alicorn if he'd not grunted when he did. Skidding to a halt, she managed to stop with her nose a mere inch from his shoulder, barely managing to keeping her hooves. "Whoa...hi there!"
Giving him the biggest brightest smile, intent to keep with her plan to make a friend today, she was a bit surprised to be faced with a species she'd never seen before in her life. His wings, but for the blue tips, matched his mane perfectly, and the odd markings on his hind legs/back/neck made him seem like a warrior...and one that wasn't in a good mood, by the look on his face. A small part of her questioned if she shouldn't be better off seeking someone who wasn't so...pissed off?

Ty blinked, staring directly at the female who came within inches of slamming into him. She was a pretty little thing, long hair dark brown with white legs. His wings twitched, blue eyes narrowed slightly. A ground, just peachy. How much worse could his day get?
She did have a pretty smile...
His tail flicked, Chaci's voice ringing in his ears. 'Smile. Not all grounds are like the one's you've met.'
"...Hello." He watched her teeter for a moment before righting herself. "Are you alright?"
Civil. Be civil. Don't judge a mare by her breed. After all, Chaci was a ground, and she was his best friend! "I hope I didn't startle you miss...?"

"Treasure, the name's Treasure." she said, brightly, the little voice in her head still nagging her to move on and leave him be, but headstrong as she was, she refused to listen. "I'm fine, but don't apologize! It's all my fault for nearly running into you. I wasn't...exactly watching where I was going at the time." She giggled a little and blushed beneath her dark coat for doing such a stupid thing, but the feel of the wind had just been so perfect!
Shaking her mane out, she struggled to get her thoughts back together again. "I hope I wasn't interrupting anything, you do seem a bit preoccupied, and if you'd rather, I could leave you be..."

Ty had to smile at her. She reminded him alot of Chaci. Carefree, and sweet. Trying to get as close to the feel of flying, with out doing so.
"Treasure? Its nice to meet you. I'm Tyzaeph."
And she was smart! She'd rather leave him be-
Ok. He was really turning into an a-hole. Big time.
"Oh no. Its alright. I'm just kind of distracted is all. Aggravted, is more like it..."

"Why are you aggravated?" Treasure knew at once it was bold move to make, he had no reason to tell her, but she was a helpful and loving mare...and full of questions. "I know we only just met and all, but perhaps I can help if something's troubling you...sometimes it helps to have someone outside of a situation to talk to. I promise I'm a good listener, and I won't be upset if you decide to not say."
Her gaze was one of honesty and curiosity. She had no need to pursue him because of his breed, as she was content with her own and whatever happened to come her way. She'd of treated him the same with or without wings, and it was one of her endearing qualities...least that's what her mom told her. To be quite honest, she was more drawn to another's mind than outward appearance, and she longed to know what others were thinking in hopes it might give her a bigger picture of the world around her.

He had to grin. So much like Chaci. She wasn't eyeing him like a freak, or a piece of meat. She wasn't asking all sorts of questions about his breed. It seemed like she didn't careed at all what breed he was.
That was always a plus.
"I'm aggravted...because some females..." the 'ground' part of that went unsaid, "...I don't even know how to explain it to you."
He heaved a sigh. He didn't know how to explain it. "Its just...Painful I guess."
It was. The female he'd had the biggest crush on, had another on her heart. The females before that...grounds who wanted him for his breed. Between them, they kicked his heart around a few times, and send his trust for all but one ground female out the window.

"Well, just try. I promise I won't be offended at all." She gave a comforting smile, cocking her head a little in the process. "I assume it has to do with matters of the heart, yes? Maybe you've just met all the wrong females." She shrugged slightly, studying his face for any sign she was on the right track.

"Yea...I probably have. But my distrust for...ground females...shouldn't be there..."
He coughed, scuffing his hoof across the ground. "Its a generalzation, I know. And a bad one, but I can't help but make it."
Ty sighed, looking her square in the eye. Something told him...something said he could trust her. "I met a 2 pretty grounds about the same time. One fell in love with my wings...and one fell in love with what I am...an Alicorn. Then, the one female I met who I connected with...was in love with someone else..."
Damn, he spilled his gusts like a nancy.

Treasure frowned slightly at his mention of his distrust for ground females, but his uncomfortableness at having mentioned it made her quickly forgive him, as she got the feeling he wasn't including her precisely within that comment. The frown disappearing nearly as quickly as it came, she sucked on her lower lip in deep thought before speaking aloud.
"So...most...uh....ground females, as you put them, tend to like you for what you got and not who you are? That's rather sad...I mean, even if they did win you over, sure it'd pass on the genes to the children, but doesn't benefit the mother much...I mean, it's like having you for a mate would give ME wings and a horn." She giggled at a mental image of her trying to fly and crashing into some bushs. "Sorry, just had this thought of me trying to fly....I don't think it'd be a pretty sight."
"Let me be completely honest with you though, just so ya know where I stand. You may not care about this at all, and that's your choice, but I don't mind saying it. I'm the kind who doesn't care at all what a Soquili looks like on the outside. I don't care if your the prettiest, most handsomest Soquili to walk the earth, or the ugliest, what I look for is in the head and in the heart. That's where the true beauty lies. It wouldn't matter if you had the prettiest face if you had the ugliest personality, nothing outside can make up for what's inside." She shrugged, looking embarrassed at having said so much and blushing slightly once more beneath her dark coat. Now look who was spilling their guts!

The grey alicorn blinked, unable to come up with anything witty to say at that moment. He couldn't come up with anything to say, period.
Which NEVER happened.
She'd just said what he'd wish the others had said. He couldn't believe it. She seemed so genuine about it too. Holy crow. This was absolutly insane.
"I...Woah."

Treasure's gaze dropped as he just stared and stared...and stared. There'd she'd gone, went and said too much again. She was so embarrased to have said what she had, that she was pawing the ground and stammering, feeling his eyes boring holes into her body. "I...I'm sorry, I-I said too much..." She knew she was now coming off as the backwoods mare that she was, having had no friends previous, and apt to speak whatever came to her mind as it hit her, no matter how stupid it was. He'd only just met her, what would he care what her preferences were! Not like he was about to fall for a ground female anyways...
Her long hair falling over her face, giving her a bit of childish and endearing look, she peeked up to see what his reaction was. By now, she was just debating running away and hiding under the nearest boulder.

What was she doing apologizing? She didn't do anything wrong- Oh. He was gawking at her like she grew a second head. Which, was not cool.
"Oh no! No, don't apologize! You just...shocked me is all." He smiled warmly, trying to ease her worries. "You said exactly what I'd been wanting to hear from those females."

Slowly she lifted her head, hair still abit askew as she stared back at him, shocked. It was now her turn to not have an idea of what to say. What did one do in this situation?! "Oh..!" seemed to be about the extent of her conversational abilities at this moment in time as her mind raced to find something to say. Something intelligent, something more intellectually stimulating than the "Um..." that followed.
