About the Dragon

User Image

Navaraz is a sly fellow, liking tricks and jokes and having a good time. New magic is noticed easily, distracting him from any minor duty he may be attending to. Depending on exactly how interesting he finds it is how long it manages to hold his attention – a small trick he already knows is a few seconds, while an overly complicated spell he’s never seen before can result in questions. He loves to learn new things, though many grumble about this passion being directed to learning new practical jokes or flashy stunts. Anything to bring a smile to someone’s face is worth the effort, in his opinion. Otherwise, he may be seen as lazy, not liking much physical activity or direct confrontations. He’d rather be home reading or taking a lazy stroll than actively participating in any of the Dragon City events, unless they show off his ‘awesome flying skills and superb magical abilities’.

About the Race

The Farogan are a bit smaller than the usual dragons, still able to carry a rider, granted the rider isn’t too heavy or weighed down by metal armor. Their scales are small and smooth, fur soft to the touch, and wings beautifully translucent; don’t think they’re as fragile as that, though. They’re adept magic-users, the ‘feelers’ on their head able to detect magical items and store enough power for a nasty shock when they need it. Farogan are naturally light and agile, but not physically strong or tough, so they rely on speed to doge around a possible attack and try to catch their opponent off-guard with magic rather than strike head on.

Unlike other dragons, they have four wings, and though many have speculated how such fragile limbs keep the Farogan in the skies, it has come to light that their natural magic helps them in their task. Still, they cannot cross large distances quickly, better suited to short bursts of speed before the strain forces them to land, or long, slow journeys where they can simply soar for a good part of it.

Please note the wings are longer than this ^_^;;

About the Clan

Those in the Magus Clan seek knowledge and magic, simple as that. There are some disagreements between them as to whether to act more like the Spirit or Drake Clans, but that is only natural. Many prefer a neutral and conditional stance, such as peace enforced by power when need be, or violence only against those that attack first.
