Age (approximate in Pokemon's case, i.e. Child, Teen, Adult, etc...):
Child
Gender: Genderless, we'll just call her a she like she insists we do.
Pokemon:Magneton

Starting Stage (Pokemon or human): Pokemon

Some Physical Trait Suggestions for Human Side if Starting as a Pokemon:
Robotic arms and legs, Magnet Fingers, a head, a neck, a torso, all robotic. The end result will look like an android or a cyborg. Maybe one with three eyes. A mouth since her diet will change.

Personality if starting as pokemon: She is curious like a child, she doesn't always act like a child though. She is fascinated by humans most of all, even more so when she finds out she is receiving human genetic material. She is fascinated by human emotions, behavior and relationships. Feels it is her duty to study humans since she is being upgraded with their DNA. Maia enjoys watching TV where she can study humans all she wants and no one would yell at her for staring at them. She will at first be willing to upgrade herself into a more complex life form, and won't understand why the other subjects dislike their situation so much. Eventually though she will begin to doubt herself, and will wonder if it's really right accepting human DNA when she knew it wasn't natural. Magneton evolve to Magnezone, she felt both honored and isolated at the same time to be the only Magneton going through with this. She'll turn and join the side of the unwilling afterward.

In some ways she is a child, still learning about the world but in other ways she acts more like an adult trapped in a child's body. Enjoys watching TV where the humans never get mad at her for staring. Has an emotionless, robotic, male voice. Can get stuck to powerful magnets. Stalks electric pokemon obsessively. Has a fetish with working machinery and things with a magnetic force, though her own magnetic force is effective enough to ruin most machines, electronics and precision instruments. She is curious, able to learn fast, great memory, enjoys floating around, loves storms that produce thunder and lightning. Fears water and fire. Thinks of herself as already married since a Magneton is really three magnemite permanently stuck together through evolution. Believes their is nothing wrong with Polygamy, or having more than one spouse. She believes Polygamy is where several combine together and become one stronger entity. Therefore she will think of her transformation into a humanoid android as a good thing. A homo sapience's genetic information has been downloaded into her body to upgrade her into a more complex life form. Therefore she is truly a willing subject...at first, she doesn't understand the consequences of her willingness may cause the other subjects to shun her. She won't understand why the others are unwilling. Why deny the chance to upgrade yourself into something better? The only things that bother her about the upgrading is that it is unnatural. The mixing of human and pokemon DNA is not normal, she feels both isolated and honored at the same time to be the only Magneton to be upgraded outside of evolution. This will cause her to doubt weather or not she should be doing this and eventually she'll join the other subjects in rebelling against the change. Her sense of reasoning is cold and calculating. She does feel emotions, but doesn't have a very good understanding of the more complicated, more human ones. Her logic is simple. She is very blunt when she talks. Has no understanding of humor or sarcasm. Gets very hungry, her diet consists of liquid metal, oil, anti-freeze, gasoline and electricity. Things she can use to 'grow' and maintain good health. Her diet will someday include meat because the human in her will need organic nourishment and the meat can be used into several beneficial ways other than food. Like creating a skin coat someday to make her look more human. Skin that can be coated with mechanical sensors that 'feel.'

History: She was attracted to the lab when it was first turned on. It took several generators to make all the lights, computers, and cameras work. All that lovely electricity, she couldn't resist! She was caught and left in storage until they wanted to use her. Finally, they let her out to this existence.

Strengths:
Has an excellent memory drive, good at creating logical plans in a dangerous situation, when people want the truth she never sugar coats her stories, she speaks very honestly. Very adaptive to new situations. Can stand being alone for long periods of time without going insane.

Weaknesses:
She gets stuck to magnets, and has a fetish for anything with a magnetic force, including machines and electric pokemon. She has a deep seated phobia of water, fire, pokeballs, darkness, and closed spaces. She never wants to go into storage again. She's afraid she'll be put back again if she goes against their wishes so she convinces herself that she wants the transformation they are forcing upon her. Has no emotional consideration, she says things very bluntly. Will be more trusting of other pokemon than of humans.

Future Plans for Character or Any Extra Info:
She'll hopefully turn into an android or a cyborg with three eyes. At first she'll be willing to accept the changes, creating conflict, but as she learns more about humans she doubts it's the right thing to do to take an unnatural way of evolution. Eventually she gets bolder and becomes unwilling to accept anymore human DNA joining the side of most of the other subjects. She'll try to use her magnetic and electric abilities to mess with the lab and help any attempts to escape.

Info on the pokemon:
Magneton is the result of three Magnemite being linked together by a strong magnetic force, although a single Magnemite can evolve by itself when no other Magnemite are in the vicinity. There are several ways that the three Magnemite that Magneton consists of can be linked. Magneton was originally thought to be a pure Electric-type Pokémon, but it was eventually discovered to have traits of a Steel-type Pokémon as well. Even though Magneton, its pre-evolution and its evolution are all mechanical creatures, they share traits with non-mechanical creatures: Magneton are able to feel emotions, get hungry, and reproduce. Magneton has been considered to be related to Metang and Bronzong since both are also half Steel-type Pokémon that float by using electromagnetic waves.

Special abilities: Magneton emits strange radio waves that can greatly damage various electronic equipment, raise air temperatures by 3.6 degrees Fahrenheit within a 3,300-foot radius and cause earaches to anyone that gets too close to it. Magneton mostly learns attacks that Magnemite is capable of learning. However, unlike Magnemite, Magneton can learn Tri Attack. Even though Magneton is not yet fully evolved, it can learn Hyper Beam and Giga Impact. On very rare occasions, Magneton can know Refresh.

Behavior: Magneton behave similarly to their pre-evolution, Magnemite, in that they generally do not bother people and keep to themselves unless provoked. If they are provoked however, they will resort to non-damaging moves, but, will not hesitate to use more powerful moves if not left alone. Unlike most other evolved Pokémon, in battle, Magneton are very easy to command and rarely lose focus.

Habitat: Rough-terrain Pokémon

Magneton usually live around power plants
and rough terrain where large deposits of metal can be found, but they're harder to find than Magnemite.

Diet: Magneton feed off of electrical charges. ( Mine will feed off of more than that because of her changes and the human stuffs being injected into her. )

Why do you think your character would be a good addition to the island/RP?It would certainly make for an interesting plot. What would scientists do to a pokemon that wasn't biological? How would they learn how to change it? Or even take care of it? How would the subjects react to a weird android cyborg thing floating around the island?

( Not all fleshed out but *faints from all the typing* Just lemme know what you think... )

((Teigra: Hmm...definitely interesting. Will be a challenge artistically and logistically. XD You bring up a good point though...about the subject not being biological. However, I thought I remembered something years ago written that said that all Pokemon were essentially the same biologically, hence being grouped as 'Pokemon' collectively, while having slight differences that create the sub-species that we're familiar with.

Course, that seems the exact opposite of what you would think about some Pokemon, especially Metal types like Magneton. I'll have to do some creative work to make the experimentation process make sense if you want to treat them as non-biological, considering the process requires DNA...which they should have, being creatures...but...

I think my brain just exploded. XD

This might just have to be one of those plot holes that we pave over and pretend isn't there. *LOL*

Now, on to the rest. I love her characterization, history, and whatnot. I suppose the only things that really caused me to hesitate on commenting was trying to figure out the medical issues...but I'll figure something out if I have to. Same on the art front, even if I suspect that you might secretly be trying to kill me. XD

Concept is approved. Good luck questing. ~_^ ))
