You have been sent back in time, before the hero Theseus, before the fall of Greece, before goblins and the world you know today. To the Great Labyrinth. A fantastic unknown treasure lies in the center of the greatest maze ever constructed. It was created to contain the horrible Minotaur, a murderous blood-thirsty monster. Your task today is simple, find the trapped beast and kill it before it finds you. The reward is great if you do succeed, but the penalty is greater.

(I was waiting for other people to join but nobody did so I'm starting now :])
You find yourselves at the entrance to a gigantic maze. The thick hardened stone walls rise 30ft above your heads. Lush grass grows beneath your feet, but stops abruptly at the opening, replaced by hard, rough stone, as if the grass is afraid to enter the maze. A great treasure awaits you at the center....... but is it worth it? A woven basket lies at the entrance. Where did that come from?

Bellamin picked up the wiccer basket. "Hmmm... Looks like its a one-way trip." The spellsword poked his head into the apeture. "Hello!"

As Bellamin picked up the basket he noticed a note that said: Your back map. The only thing actually in the basket is a large spool of thread. As you all step into the passage the walls close behind you leaving no seam or any hint this is the way you came. Even in this early morning the high walls cast the whole path in shadow. Torches line the walls, only the ones closet to you are lit. You can not see past your sphere of light, anything can lurk in the dark.
((The torches are part of the wall. They cannot be removed.))

Bellamin picked up the spool of thread and dropped the basket. Spinning his fingers around with the string, he manages to make a very complex network of lines running between his two hands. "Its a kitty!" He held his hands up to the torchlight. A crude shape of a cat hung in the middle of the string.

Laughing at Ballamin's 'kitty' shadow, Varnis looked into the darkness of the labyrinth, trying to see any further, but was unable to see any further. "So... Anyone able to light the remaining torches?" He asked, as he drew his sword, waiting for anything to happen.

Perrian chuckled. "Bellamin, I think that spool of thread has a purpose. Give it to me please. If this maze is as big as it looks, why don't we do like what Hanzel and Gretel did, but instead of bread crumbs which can be eaten we can use a rope which, hopefully, will not be eaten by a hungry follower." Perrian said and chuckled again.

As the sword is pulled out it nears the outer edge of light close to darkness. The light ahead bursts to life the new flame is born, as this happens the flame Belliman used for his shadow cat flickers out and dies.

"Ok...this place is odd...well, shall we continue?" Perrian said and held spool of thread in his hand. "Lets hope this thread is long enough to reach the end from the entrance." Perrian said and started to walk towards the new flame that was born.
