Isis smiled laying in a patch of flowers on her back so she could look up at the sky, it was a beautiful day, the birds were singing and fluttering about and she could hear the small animals chattering in the trees just a few feet away. The spot where she lay was concealed within the forest, a small break in the trees where the sun shone through. She rolled over to her side and eyed the rotting log nearby, with it's fantastical mushrooms. "Good day to just relax," she murmured and pushed herself up into a sitting position with a paw, her black fur absorbed the sun's warmth. With a sigh she turned her head and eyed the flowers around her, "I suppose it's time for me to get up though, wouldn't want to crush you guys too badly," she chuckled and shook her head before getting up and looking around.

Malda walked through the forest in his elf form. He loved warm, sunny days like these. They were good to find inspiration in for his art work. Tucked under his right arm he had some material which he could draw on with a half finished sketch on top and had something to draw with behind his left ear. He looked up with a smile as he saw some birds in the trees above. He chuckled after watching them fly off and continued walking. The dragon elder had an idea of what he wanted to draw. All that was left to do was to find a good place to sit and draw it.

Isis padded over towards the log nearby and examined it's soft mossy surface, she chuckled and gently poked at one of the mushrooms, "you guys sure have a beautiful place to live." She smiled and turned away, her tail brushed against the log as she took a few steps forward into the trees and out of the clearing. Her long neck curved as she glanced around a tree, the forest seemed so peaceful, it made it hard to decide whether or not she should leave her haven. Her eyes darted to the sky as she heard birds flying above, the sudden sound of flapping startled her, seems the birds had seen someone who had disrupted their peace, "hmm?"

Malda heard a feminine voice and looked off in the direction he heard it. It was faint, but he was sure he had definitly heard someone. Curiousity got the best of him and he decided to go over and look. "Someone there...?" He called out softly after getting a bit closer to where the sound had come from. He was sure there was only one voice, so he wasn't sure why they would be speaking. Perhaps this dragonfly was calling out for help? Malda didn't like the thought of someone being left out alone if they needed someone around. He always reached out a helping hand if he felt the need to.

Isis chuckled quietly, "of course," she murmured staying perfectly still. Her eyes danced about as she searched for the person who the voice belonged to, a new face was always a good way to spice up the day, and even better if it was a friendly one. She took several steps through the trees casting a backward glance at her little clearing, "Its not often i see people this deep in the woods." She smiled before catching a glimmer of golden hair between the trees, she tilted her head briefly 'another elder.' She started walking towards where she had seen the glimmer her tail brushing against trees as she walked.

"Well, I do tend to wander sometimes..." He said and smiled. She sounded friendly. Now if only he could see her. He moved through the trees as he heard her voice again. She was close for sure. Malda looked up at Isis as he was finally able to see her. So she was an elder. He mentally chuckled. How small he seemed as an elf compared to the actual elder form. "Ah, so there you are. Another elder." His eyes caught sight of her jewlrey. He hadn't seen like it before. What unique art...

Isis smiled, "don't we all," she murmured her voice drifting through the trees. As the male finally came fully into sight she smiled at him, "yes, yes I am... and so are you I take it." She laughed and tilted her head to the side examining him, she had never seen an elder so gold, it must attract whole forests worth of admirers. She had some gold on her, but not nearly as much as this fellow. "I am Isis," she said a grin flashing across her face as she bowed her head, "and you sir?" She raised an eyebrow, "I hope you don't mind me asking, after all It's not often I meet another elder."

Malda bowed his head to the other elder as well. "And I am Malda. Pleased to meet you, Isis," He lifted his head up and smiled. "Yes, guess the forest is too big for even us elders to find ourselves daily... Even with our size and what not." He debated on whether he should stay put as he was or transform into and elder himself to make conversation easier between the two of them. He'd love to get a better look at the necklace on her neck as well... "You have a very nice necklace on by the way. I've not seen anything like that..."

A grin drifted across Isis's face, "Likewise Malda." She smiled, craning her neck to look down at him, which was a bit of a pain, and that was the deciding factor. With a slight shimmering in the air and a light breeze she was downsized, now in her elven form. "Ha! Isn't that true!" a chortle escaped from her lips as she glanced around, "It's sort of a pity how hard it is to find someone, guess it's better to form family units of some sort if you don't want to lose someone." She chuckled and played with one of the many small braids of her hair. "Thank you," she blushed at the compliment to her favorite piece of jewelry, but it only showed faintly due to her darker complexion. She reached up a hand to finger the necklace around her neck, "not many people notice it," she beamed, trying to recall where the necklace had come from, it seemed to have always been there, where it belonged.

Ah that was much better. Looks like she had been thinking the same thing. It was easier to speak to someone while both of them were eye to eye, that was for sure. "Yes, very much a pity. It feels strange being the only large creature roaming around or only two legged creature... Though I have to say at this point in my life I've grown a pretty much used to that fact." He chuckled and shrugged his shoulders. There was not much to do about it, but be fortunate that he did have someone right before him that was also an elder. This really was a plesant surprise. "Really? Not many? It's really beautiful. Very impressive. I'm very into that sort of thing actually... I like drawing and putting my spare time into artwork when I can. I've never attempted jewelry so I don't know too much about it, but that truly is something remarkable you have right there. I can tell." He pulled out his work from behind his arm to show her what he meant. "I draw and paint, you see."

Isis chuckled reaching around her neck to undo the clasp so he could get a better look, it came off with a small click and fell into her hands. "I find the loneliness easier to get used to when there are birds around, their delicate wings..." She cast a brief glance up at the sky, " I don't think it's possible to ever be completely comfortable with solitude, but as elders we have to grow used to it. Our purpose is not to abuse our size and power but to help, after all. " She held out the necklace as an offer for him to take it, "Yep," she shrugged. It was nice to see someone besides herself appreciating it, she rubbed her hand on her neck, it was an unusual feeling to not be wearing the necklace as she had grown accustomed to it over the years. "Drawing? How lovely, there aren't many artists in the forest." She blushed, "I think it's remarkable as well," she chuckled turning her attention to his artwork in awe, "And you do it well."

Malda nodded to Isis' words. Yes, she thought of her purpose as an elder the same way as he did. He tried to help out dragonflies around him whenever he ever he saw a dragonfly in need of it. He didn't like violance or pain, so he wanted it to be prevented. He was the peaceful sort of elder. Malda took the necklace carefully into one of his hands. "Thank you," He said softly and took a moment to study it, admiring the unique detail put into it. "Amazing..." The golden dragon wondered what kind of history was behind it. "R-remarkable?" The golden dragonfly glanced down at his work, feeling flattered. "Oh... Well... T-Thank you. I'm flattered, but I bet there are probably others who are much better..."
