Name: I havn't chosen yet! *shifty eyes

Here it goes: THe government has created these human chimeras type agents that they deploy when some huge world saving thing happens where normal agents won't be able to deal with. When not on the field, they are sleeping in a kind of sleeping chamber. Eventually, though, there are reports of huge world wide riots that start to happen. These "riots" start getting worse and worse, and eventually the human chimeras are sent to deal with them. When they find a riot, it ends up not being a riot at all, but a zombie apocylypse. Basically, the whole government crumbles, and society is pushed back. The chimeras don't have anywhere to go, so they are left with surviving the zombie apocolypse... The rest of it is just them surviving religous cults, teams of bandits, and assasions, as well as betrayal, oh, and not to mention huge zombie attacks, and at the same time trying to figure out more about thier mysterious creation.

Characters(so far)
Dogbite- The main character. He is ranked the lowest of the nine chimeras. A dog chimera. He can be serious, but has a humerous side, as well as a tendancy to get in trouble through his intense curiosity.
Hawkeye- The leader. She is both smart, patient, and has a great shot. During combat, she is usually seen sniping from the roofs, though she has amazing agility and is great at combat.
Billwing- A duck chimera and second in charge. He is usually keeping Dogbite out of trouble, and is seen as being Dogbites best friend. He is a chimera with a duck, and serves as not only second in comand, but as thier repairman and medical officer. Although he is a chimera with a duck, he does not lack the appropriate fight skills to defend himself, and his favorite tool is a shot gun given to him by his unknown "master".
Joseph Hammer- A leader of a group of human survivors who team up with the group of chimeras. He wields your basic lead pipe, and was the DJ of a New York radio station. He usually goes under the name JZW, his Radio name that his viewers knew him by.
Mr. Goodwind- The leader of a major religous cult surviving in the new york city ruins. He believes that the Chimeras brought the deadly disease, and thinks that sacrificing them all will stop the zombie menance as well as create a new more beautiful earth.
Bertha D. Cornwallis 3rd- The person the chimeras find out early on into the story was believed to have "created" the Chimera Authroity Plan (C.A.P), as well as a way to create and train the chimeras. The chimeras believe that she created them, and that Bertha is also Billwing's mysterious "master".

The chimeras are actual chimeras, genetically altered humans created by the government and used by the government. Each chimera has been altered with a different animal, though they are mostly human. An example is that if there is a human chimera who has been mixed with a dog, they might inherate some of a dog's skills, such as better hearing or smelling, or agility. Unkown to them, they went under intense training before being put in these sleeping chambers that put them under a type of suspended animation. The reason that they do not remember this is because before being put into the sleeping chambers, thier memories of thier past lives were erased through intense hypnosis.

In order to keep them from getting off task when deployed, they (the government) have what they call "choke collers" that electricute the chimeras in case they try to escape a mission. At first, the choke collors end up being a pain, since thier perimiter is resticted to a small city block that has been over run by the living dead, but they find a way to get them off.

It sounds interesting enough. I just wonder about what these chimeras can do. And are they actually chimera, or just people who use the term to describe themselves?

I think... I've seen this kind of plot in a book... I forgot what it was called though D=. But the chimera thing wasn't in it, so it seems kind of interesting... I like the fact that you didn't do something stupid, like random people with super powers or something. If you can give the chimera's a deep enough background as to how they where made and such, who the main bad guy(s) is/are, then it could be possible. You're already out of the box with the chimera's vs zombies thing with the cults and stuff. Just try to keep it as origional as possible, as the cause of the zombies and how the cults and such where made.

Summing it up, as long as you keep it to that origional though, it could be an interesting story.

I like it. The chimera theme I think may be hard to pull off. But as for plot I think its good
