This spar takes place in a Dojo set up in the middle of the colliseum. Built to be destroyed, its a fun place to spar, since not only does it provide a somewhat classic setting for a match of this type, but pieces of the dojo itself can legally be used as a weapon. Roughly fifty feet on a side, the wooden floor has a 45x45 canvas mat in the center. The walls go up a little over two stories with a set of stairs inside at both the north and south walls. Circling around the whole interior about 15 feet off the mat floor below is an 8 foot wide wooden walkway reachable by the stairs. It has a three foot high ornate wooden railing and the roofing beams are a mere eight feet above.

Hanging by one thick, black furred arm from a rafter in the southeast Corner, Guardian awaited his opponent. He hadnt done much fighting in his half-form... and now was as good a time as ever to do so. Shimmering faintly the fingers of his already summoned force gauntlets were dug into the wood, but due to the fact that the match was not supposed to be a death-match, the mono-claws were "retracted". He scratched idly at his side with his other massive arm, and his paws (read: feet) curled up and relaxed in boredom.

If anyone were to look at Shar from a distance, he'd seem to be the infamous Archmagi and wanted criminal Torment Nusradai. The only sign that would prove otherwise would be the blue orb flitting around him, the vibrant violet hair and piercing emerald eyes, a window to his soul. Green with envy indeed. This mockery of The Azure Phoenix was his other half of the Soul Forged Brothers, more centered and raw force and literal face pwning. In his hands he held a viscous mass of white energy, transluscent white wisps of light flitting around it. His eyes flashed a brilliant green as his eyes fell upon his oponent, the viscous white mass beginning to shift and change as similar white wisps began flitting about his head.

Grinning in a tooth snarl, Guardian dropped from his perch to land "lightly" on his paws. Of course lightly is a highly relative term... since the floor literally cracked as the 900+ pound man/wolf landed. Cracking massive knuckles under his force gauntlets he started walking towards Shar. "So, you fight me... Fun, we break things very well you and I. This is good. I enjoy." still grinning he rolled massive shoulders and crouched down with his legs coiled beneath him like massive pistons, ready to leap any which way, some thirty feet from his opponent. His somewhat simplistic speech in no way denoted a lessened intelligence... He was a quick-witted as ever, but hey, You try talking with a heavy muzzle full of very strong very very sharp teeth... its not as easy as you'd think.

The mass of wisps and light slowly lengthened to the height of a quarterstaff, oddly enough, with a rather large spiked ball on top. Shar kept his eyes on his opponent as the wisps around his head continued to grow in number, "Heh, just so long as you don't try to eat my grandmother, this'll go just fine. I just wish I knew why wolves had a thing for older chicks." As if to underscore the somewhat civil, some derogatory conversation Shar darted forward with speed unknown to most normal mortals, bringing the Longmace downin the direction of GK. Hitting wasn't neccessary, the shockwave was plenty, as was what might come after if need be.

With a fading guttural laugh The man/wolf matched Shar's speed with his own, side-stepped, and leapt foward towards shar. A force-gauntleted fist lead the way in a blindingly fast shimmering streak. If he managed to hit, the blow packed enough force to shove 5-6 tons violently around... and what it would do to a person, well, is fairly messy.

Suffice it to say, the area where the Longmace struck the floor was totally and completely ********. Can you say shower of bits of busted up wood? Well...GK can't...buts thats beside the point. Despite the rather relatively slow attack from the first, Shar's reaction was rather quick. The Longmace quickly came back to smash into the gauntleted fist, which would also produce a shockwave, augmenting the already powerful force into enough to not only stop the fist cold, but likely force it back.
The transluscent white wisps were spreading out now, numbering in the twenties, and continuing to double. A few stayed behind and seemed to be forming some sort of armor around Shar's critical points. From there, it would spread.

As the staff swung to meet his fist the wolf opened his hand, and simply grabbed hold as his strength and the pure force aura of his gloves stopped the swing cold in a stalemate of titanic forces... Simultaneously he swung his other fist in a rabbit punch aimed at the middle of Shar's body and puled shar towards himself... HARD. The little bits and splinters of wood exploding from the floor wouldnt even really register to guardian, what managed to penetrate his fur would merely itch... and even that for a mere moment before it more than likely fell loose.

Shar's free hand came down at the center of the staff and pulled back. A white column of energy formed from the staff to his fingers, and when he released an explosion would burst forth from the staff, not only from the projectile exploding, but from the spikes upon the macehead bursting outwards in an attempt to pwn the living ******** out of GK's hand, which may not be the case. Any not caught within his hand would dart up and make a beeline for his face. Can you say Soul Forged spike in the eye?

This force, while mostly utilized to assault GK was also used to, quite literally blow Shar away, sending him far enough away to be out of harms way for the moment. Once he stood firm once more the staff, sans the mace head would dart back to his hand and a second shot would be fired off, albeit a great deal weaker.

As the spikes exploded, the first of them buried themselves into Guardian's arm... but jerking backwards, Guardian's form blurred... and the rest, seemed to pass harmlessly through where his head, and body... well... used to be... as he rolled backwards like some strange floating, black, mist-facsimile of himself. The spikes that had been in his arm fell to the floor with a clatter, covered in a very very faint veneer of blood... with his blurred face snarling silently the incorporeal man/wolf zoomed forward, literally flowing around Shar like some intangible wind to re-form behind him, the relatively small but deep wounds in his arm already closing up like some grisly fast-forwarded time-lapse video.

Mainly all the spikes had done was hurt... but that was rapidly being rectified... and now he was less than happy... so he started growing in size, the gauntlets fading rapidly and seeming to meld into his very flesh as he took on a more and more lupine shape.

The moment the spikes were released from GK's arm they picked up and began to track him again, mostly at a loss until he reformed. After that time, however, they began darting around to assault him once more. Shar, however, had begun a bit of a run. Staying near anything getting bigger wasn't anything to stay near, most times. In his run he drew back and fired off a, literally three pronged attack, three Soul Forged arrows darting at GK, joined with the staff by a thin thread, but otherwise ready to explode when severed. The cloud of white wisps now numbered in the eighties, slowly continuing to expand along the diagonal across the dojo, where Shar was headed.

The spikes found their mark easily enough... but something seemed to have changed. His transformation now pretty much complete... the spikes shot into his fur... but seemed to glance off the flesh beneath.... Lifting his muzzle in a deep, rumbling howl Guardian seemed to tense for a moment then erupted with a shockwave like a bomb going off. The corner of the dojo where Guardian was, seemed to literally shatter in a shower of debris from the size of splinters to heavy timbers... shaking the entire structure and blowing the debris -everywhere- as if a tornado had struck... the spikes, and arrows themselves were more than likely caught up in the shockwave as well, and shot outward as well.

Shar blinked as he skidded to a stop, twirling the staff before him to blow and debris or unruly spikes that might have been coming his way. The arrows severed from the main staff, but sunk into the cloud of nearly 160 white wisps, sparking a massive flash of white light that blocked out sight within the cloud. Somewhere the small blue orb that was Torment was flitting around, scared shitless because he couldn't do crap, and Obelisk hadn't been tested while Shar was a part of Torment. Should still work fine...

Emerging from the cloud of dust and debris completely without warning the masive wolf shot at the stopped Shar as if it had been fired from a cannon... a massive blurry "cannonball" of solid muscle, bone, sinew, fangs and tearing claws...

In the blinding light there would be naught to attack, nothing seemed solid, and Shar seemed to have vanished. This is, of course, until the great cloud lifted up into the sky, at least 50 feet up, and Shar was revealed bursting forth from the cloud, staff in hand and six spindling tendrils extending from his back, joined by a thin white membrane. He was a beacon of light, his armor glowing brightly, flowing into his staff, and subsequently into Obelisk.
He jammed the staff down into the cloud and a ripple passed outwards as the weapon was given form. Like the great obelisks, so was this one, nearinly five stories tall with a tip pointed just the same. Unlike an obelisk, Obelisk had been compressed to form a blade. The crossguard was a set of spindly wings such as Shar had himself, slowly moving of their own accord, and the hilt was the staff itself, sunk into the blade. The blade came up and with a massive swing the dojo, or what was left of it, was obliterated. in a shower of splinters and great chnks of wood. GK would be next.
