I actually saw this one in the theater. I thought it was a rather good movie. But overrated due to the insane popularity. The part about this movie that made it so huge. Was in my eyes its worst feature. A star struck rebellious teenager. With an affliction for vampires. The writers tried to make this girl out to be rather mysterious. When in reality she was just depressed. I enjoyed the special effects of the movie. Mainly the part where the main character. Was jumping through the trees with that girl on his back. These effects really were great. It gave you a clear picture. Of what it would be like. If you were actually on top of those trees. I originally thought that the other clan of Vampires. That showed up later in the movie. Were of a Werewolf clan. They certainly had more characteristics in there mannerisms and appearance to Werewolves than Vampires. I later found out that this wasn't the case. And I was slightly disappointed. Because, I prefer Werewolves to Vampires. I think it would be absolutely awesome. If in the sequel. They added in some cool looking Werewolves. But I guess I will have to settle with, Underworld Rise of the Lycans. If I want to see those creatures. The sequel will most likely be inferior to the first movie in every way. With a theme made to be highly appealing to teenagers. Leaning heavily on the Romance of the story.

All the characters were mary-sues.
"OMG! HES CUTE! HE MUST LOVE ME! OMG! I SMELL BAD! HE MUST WANT TO HAVE LITTLE KIDDIES WITH ME! =D =D" is all I got out of it. Honestly, I hated how he was all: "I'll die for you." etc. etc. Yeah, that's fine and dandy, but why pick a chick that's stupid and clumsy? No girl could be that clumsy..... Sure, it was unintentional, blah blah. But all of the problems get worked out, no one dies, making it a boring read and watch.

JUST MY OPINION.

@ Lance Calvis: rofl The Underworld movie was almost point for point what you have described. I watched it with a little smile on my face, so if you take it as 'So bad it's good,' it's not completely unbearable.

I consider the first twilight book to be...not very good fiction with an okay concept and...bad...writing. It went downhill from there.
The movie was rather overdramatized, IMO. There were occasional good parts, which I missed because I am biased, but it shared a quality from Rise of the Lycans in that it was very hard to take seriously.
Lines like 'And so the lion fell in love with the lamb' might just be romantic on the printed page, but they become hilarious when uttered onscreen.

i am compleaterly obsed with twilight i have all the book and have read them all at least 6 times and im on count down mode till the DVD comes out.

XD I liked the last book and the last book ONLY.

The movie was ok, i guess, it wouldve been better IMO if Kristain S. wasn't Bella and Rob P. didn't have such a big head. (i mean srly? Its HUGE). Other than that....

(summary of the books (for those who have read, it isnt actually kiss, its well, more than that. but i can say that on the net)
(XD First book: kiss me
Second book: kiss me
Third book: fine ill kiss you but you have to marry me first (bella: FINE)
Fourth book: you FINALLY KISSED ME (and now im pregnant with a child who is born like three months after i realized i was pg.) (thats ur hint on what 'kiss' means)
