It was one of those days where you just knew that it was going to go badly... he was working on setting up a new web needing to catch himself a new snack. The last one had left in a mess with one of his buddies... to overly dramatic for his liking. He never kept anyone for that long really... he would have let them go after a while, once he had his fill. The spider demon shrugged then tossed a red strand out and it connected to some of the bricks across the way. He gave it a tugging then attached it to his side as well. He was working on his weaving when the bricks under his feet gave way.

The spider demon gave a sound of surprise as he fell. Now normally it wouldn't be a problem, he would land on his feet and go back about his business but it seemed as though the Fates weren't on his side this day. One of his feet and one of his arms got entangled in the red threads and he found himself swinging toward and then collided with a brick wall... his head spun and his eyes sank closed as he slipped into darkness.

Reshmi sat up slowly, lifting a hand to rub at where he'd of sworn he'd gotten hit in the head... what a strange sort of dream that had been he thought... then found himself looking down at the weird piece of jewelry he was wearing. One hand lifted up to fiddle with it curiously, not really his taste but then again no jewelry was. At the same time it was somewhat interesting.

His attention remained focused on it for only a little bit, until he realized there was something more interesting close by. A grin appeared on his lips showing his many sharp teeth, "Why hello there." He said in a purring sort of way.

Reshmi didn't really seem to take notice that he was in a strange new place, instead all of his eyes were focused on the tasty treat sitting in front of him. He lifted on hand up to run his fingertips over her cheek taking in the look and feel that pretty colored skin of hers. He had no idea what he was dreaming about but he didn't care... it was quite an enjoyable person that had wandered into his thoughts.

Everything else was forgotten while he lifted more hands to catch hold of her with, wanting to draw her closer for more attention.

"It shouldn't be, I am a fan of cute little critters like you." He murmured, deciding the woman must not have any idea who he was or what he was like if she found the attention to be unexpected. His arms wrapped around her, snuggling her close and he lowered his head down to press a couple light kisses here and there.

"Special news, huh?" He couldn't care less, not when he had such sweet prey in his grasp.

Reshmi paused in his loving on of the woman to give it a glance then shrugged, "Its an interesting look, not something I'd normally wear. A gift from you?" He asked, wondering if she were giving his presents. Perhaps her acting so innocent was some form of flirting? Anything was possible he figured as he went back to snuggling, kissing, and petting on her. He didn't mind, being pursued would be an interesting change of pace from how things normally went.

"Not very nice, yelling at you." The spider demon said then gave a nod, "Alright, I will take care of it until then." Seemed kind of... odd, giving him a present only to take it away in a few days but he wouldn't complain. After all she was cute enough that it didn't even bother him to much that she would take the gift back.

He just hoped she came herself to take it... would mean more time they got to spend together.

Reshmi paused in his loving again to give her a decidedly confused look, "Huh?" Was all that he could get out as he tried to wrap his mind around what she had just said. Getting a child? Wait... what? The demon blinked all of his eyes in unison and he lowered his gaze to looking at the strange necklace that was dangling around his throat. Woah, hold up... who said anything about a child? And why in the Nine Hells would someone want to hand a brat over to him to look after?

"Wha?" He tried to get those questions out but failed at the attempt, seeming to only be able to get single syllable words out currently.

"Aren't you afraid I will eat it?" He asked after a moment, when he was able to get out a coherent thought, "You know my kind eat their young." It was a blatent lie, more like they were abandon after they hatched to figure out where to go, what to do, and how to do it... either way they weren't exactly the most outstanding role models or parental figures.

Reshmi tried to wrap his mind around the idea of raising a kid... teaching it all the important tasks in life like kidnapping, feeding off your prey, then releasing it back into the 'wild' when they got bored of it. The idea was... comical...
