Metal clashing and sparks flew from welding guns Lorna walked under the many Zoids being altered and built. She passed many other zoids including a Barigator. Next to it was a Gunsniper, her Gunsniper. It was being outfitted with a massive artillery unit and more powerful radar as well. Lorna looked up at the Gunsniper and smiled softly. He'd be finished in no time too and she could take him for a test.
Lorna leaned against the wall watching as the massive weasel unit was installed. She looked toward the Barigator and a brief wonder crossed her mind of who the Barigator belonged to before looking back to her Gunsniper fondly.

As work continued on the two ZOIDs, a second cadet made her way into the garage out of boredom and curiousity, the latter of the two mostly, and eyed the towering machanical beings nearby.
One of them was a Gun Sniper and it looked like it wasn't being outfitted with standard armor and equipment. It looked like......eh? Was that a Weasel Unit? How cool was that? She grinned, remembering seeing a similar thing back at her fathers' shop a few years back. Well, whoever was drivin' that ZOID was gunna have a fun time takin' down bad guys.
As for herself....
Jen eyed the Barigator towering above her with a certain air of pride; the pride of her first ZOID and the fact he was all hers, NO ONE ELSES! She didn't even care that the Ambush ZOID was an old model.

Lorna heard approaching footsteps as someone else entered the garage the footsteps stopped rather short of her so it wasn't meant for her. Lorna tore her blue eyes from her Gunsniper and turned to see who had come in. Another cadet? Was that old Barigator meant for that cadet? Lorna smiled quietly remembering when she had gotten her first zoid.
"Hey." she called loudly trying to get her voice to carry over the mechanical noises of the garage. She Waved to the other cadet and motioned for her to come over so they could talk. It was a pain to continue yelling like that when she didn't have to.

Eh? Who was callin' her?
Jen grabbed the small radio strapped to her belt but found neither indication of static nor a attempt to contact her. Re-placing it, she glanced around before spying someone waving to her by the Gun Sniper skeleton. Didn't look like one of the guys working on the ZOIDs, maybe it was someone who was on break?
Walking over (and nearly avoiding a large puddle of oil on the ground), Jen perked up at the sight of the girls' uniform. A cadet! Like she was! How cool was that?
Grinning, Jen held out her hand to the other girl. "Howdy partner! How goes it?"

Lorna noted how the girl suddenly perked up seeing her uniform. A little was moody wasn’t she? It didn’t matter Lorna smiled “Hello,” she began “I’m Lorna Morice, rank Cadet.” She was quite excitable it was most definitely her first zoid. “It goes well.” She said rather taken back by this girls energy. Lorna extended her own hand with a smile and grasped the other Cadet’s hand shaking it.
“That your Barigator?” she asked depending on the answer it would explain what another Cadet was doing down here. Just excited to see her new zoid finished she figured. Lorna could relate it was the same reason she was here watching her gunsniper.

"Nice tah meetcha Lorna." Smiling, she released the handshake. "Im Jennifer Walker, a cadet as well." Stepping back again, she made a side glance at the ZOIDs as the mechanics moved to install one of the beam cannons onto the creatures' back.
"Uh, yeah! It is, actually." Jen indistinctivly felt herself puff-up with a great deal of pride. While an old model, Barigator was her current pride and joy. "Then I take it that Gun Sniper belongs to you?"

"It's nice to meet you Jennifer" Lorna smiled "That Barigator is a dependable ZOID." especially if used corectly but she figured Jennifer wouldn't have a problem with that.
She gave an understanding nod "Must be your first then." She observed before Jen spoke again "Indeed it is." Lorna said fondly.
"What's your Zoid being equipped with?" she asked out of complete curiosity.
