I'm attending MechaCon V, and my friend Bekki and I are going to be in the artists alley. CC:

This will be my second time in the artists alley; my first year's inventory was absolutely pathetic.

So, I was wondering where I could purchase casings like these for keychains?

Also, has anyone tested this button maker? http://www.badge-a-minit.com/starterkit.html

I'm actually working at getting into something like that myself. The only place I know of so far for supplies is Etsy, and I doubt they're the best prices.

Hey, i used to have madge a mint and honestly it was god awful.

try www.americanbuttonmachines.com it does cost more money but you're getting a much high quality machine and one that wont mess up your buttons as much, actually i dont think ive had it mess up once on me yet.

dont get a badge a minit machine, though it cost less than others and you think it'll be worth the money you save...its not. i used them once and the button quality is pretty crappy and alot of the buttons wont come out right and you'll just end up throwing them away. also they break pretty easily. so if you really want to get a button maker, go for a more expensive one itll be worth it in the long run

This is late, but just popping into say YES LISTEN TO THIS PERSON. I have heard nothing but awful things about badgeaminute while I have a machine from www.americanbuttonmachines.com and it works truly fabulously. I've made probably around 200 buttons so far and I've had maybe five that got messed up, and it's usually my own mistake.
