Damn!

Her mid seethed while jowls grited together, fiercely latched into the neck of a small rabbit who had haphazardly left its burrow without watching where it leapt, or, in this case, who it was leaping toward. A rattled, tormented and darkened mind only caused her thrist for blood- a strange, unusual remedy that helped soothed the factured side of her split persona. The warm, bitter-sweet liquid was something that was always there to help temper the raging storm within as no one around her seemed to give a damn.

Sabriel had parents, like any child would, as well as siblings! But it seemed that her own mothers lack of memory and ongoing amnesia mixed with shame had caused her to distance herself and even run off with another stallion- Nimue's true lover. As for her father, Reaper, he could care less about her as his upmost fascination and pride swelled between Gabriel and her other sister, Airlia. While her brothers vendetta against the world caused bloodlust and Airlia's savage heat did a number against the world, Sabriel had yet to sink her fangs into her own darkness. Within her heart there was rage, a darkness likened to her own fathers yet far from the twisted nature. She was a creature that was clever, luring the unsuspecting to her, gaining their trust before she sentenced them to sleep eternal or if one was so lucky a cold and offensive nature did wonders in deterring anyone from her. The only person she could rely on to follow her was her own shadow, for who needed a friend? Surely she didn't. She didn't need anyone.

But underneath such a abrasive, frontal and cold exterior, there was still a young foal trying to piece together her own self. She was severed, conflicting sides of herself nearly segregated between two personalties; love and hate. Love wouldn't get anyone far, she thought as her jaws cracked the rabbits neck and crimson trickled from out of her maw. Love had gotten her parents nowhere, her own mother ran off and her father felt nothing nor did he care. Those who loved would be broken, chained to feelings that would forever tether them to the ground while hate seemed to keep one wild, unruly and unstoppable. But it was still a vicious cycle that was continuing from her fathers lineage- something that she sought to break away from and disown.

There was no pride, no recognition of greatness of where she had came from. She was a damn mistake forged from a greedy desire to bring hell itself upon the lands; it was all a show for the gods to prove them wrong, so it was rumored. Although amongst the chaos of a conflicting mind, Sabriel could feel something stir- almost like silent screams pining for something, craving it and wanting something so badly. The feeling was pushed aside as jaws dribbling with blood released its victim to the ground in a heap of fur and limbs in tact save for the teeth mark and tainted crimson around its neck. As Sabriel's mind washed a collective mess of recollections, feelings and ideas that claws at the back of her mind the only word that summed up her feelings softly escaped her lips with a low, almost mournful tone.

"Betrayal."

Settling down upon her rump as her tail curled around her body and loose, curled locks of black and red hung with a slight swivel, the mare flicked her ears. The sensation of warmth began to trail from her eyes, streaming down her darkened eyes and down her cheeks but she huffed, jowls griting together as she shook her head while the sadness was soon replaced with hatred, disgust and malice. How dare they- how dare they cast her aside! She was no pawn, not a saint or a villian. She would not follow in either of her parents shadows, nor her siblings, she was going to set herself apart from this monotinous, sickly repeatative onslaught. But it seemed often that such a desire was thwarted by a lovely gift her mother had given her which was, of course, a slight amnesia mindset.

Forgetfulness nipped at her hooves constantly which enstilled either side to come and go or even 'sleep' at certian times. And, currently, it seemed that mixing emotions and unsettled feelings were bubbling from out of the split mare. Like a tug of war, feelings and expressions of sadness and seething anger seemed to cross both her mind and maw as she sat there, her leonine tail flicking in the grass like that of an angry feline while tears helplessly flowed form her eyes. "Damn it," she laced angrily from behind bared teeth. He front legs trembled slightly with such intoxicating sensations while the bloodied wrapping around her legs with protruding spikes began to awaken a painful sensation. For the first time, the mare was losing control of herself although not in senseless actions and bloodshed, but emotionally. And she hated it.

Closing her voidless orbs shut tight, the mare intook a deep breath and exhaled slowly.

"Its all your fault..."

Astrophel soared through the skies. It was like nothing could touch him as he left the clouds, and looked about the land with his eyes. The wind pushing against his body. It was a strange sense of freedom. Astrophel came to be friends with a small herd of Mares that lived by a river, and then another lovely mare that leaved elsewhere with another two legger. But as he had floated with the clouds, he had drifted in another direction. It didn't matter to him much; the trees below were slowly coming into a more detailed view. His ears twitched as it sounded like someone was near by, but it was probably just the wind. With a grace trot, his large hooves hit the ground and he slowed to a walk. It was day time, and it wasn't that he himself hated the day. But he had the domain of all that is Lunar. His enegery and power came the strongest at night.

That's when he would roam the lands in his spirt form. He found the two leggers of the area to be interesting. Looking about with his silver eyes, his wings flexed and folded against him. There was something vaguaely familiar with this place, but he couldn't quite pin point it. The gentle giant shook his head. His silver and black locks shifted as the mist they turned into shattered around, and vanished, then gather where at the ends of the stands. Something inside him stirred. It was something the wasn't him. Right? He felt angry, and a strange sensation slithered over his skin to find himself a mare. He shook his head. "What was that…"

Astrophel was only slightly aware of his other side. These strange occurrences were the only thing right now that allowed him to know there was something else there. But he was a kind soul with no idea that his other half was a pervert and aggressive. Who had some temperamental issues if the right buttons were pushed. As he turned to walk in the right direction he could have sworn he heard it again. Was there someone there?

Walking along he worked on following the noises that belonged to someone. And it didn't take him all that long to find it. There was a mare sitting there- There was blood around her, and on her face. He wondered if she was hurt, but his eyes found the remains of a small animal. "Did that small animal do something to you?" His voice was on the deeper side, but it had the ring of kindness in it.

Sensations and feeling of comfort or those perhaps trying to convey that it was alright surfaced but, again, such a wretched thing was pushed away. The very idea of another side of her was unknown and even the mere idea of a meek or gentle side of her was a hell of a good joke! But there were at times these feelings and strange ideas came to mind that were far from anything she would ever imagine nor think of. How they surfaced, she didn't know yet there were times where these emotions seemed to sudden break loose from her without any logical explaination. But could they even be called logical? Her family was already so far skewed from the 'norm' compared to others that it seeemd anything was possible at this rate. A fanged scowl slid across her maw as she lowered her head, shaking it while she brused her face against the upper part of her front legs in hopes to wipe away the hot, trailing tears from sight. She'd be damned if she let anyone see her like this- she would have no problem killing them if it meant she could keep whatever the hell was going on at bay; out of sight, out of mind, right? Slowly she was gaining control, feeling the savage mix of malice and agression colliding within her veins as it drew a slightly pleasent, if not somewhat twisted, subtle smile upon her maw once again.

As she inhaled a deep breath, a wreath of foggy mist emitted from out of her nostrils with a slight puff as it disappated into the night air. It was the night where she was most active- she could do as she pleased and linger about the lands in search of whatever it was that her darkened desires seemed to crave as night's shadow cloaked her like a fine cape. She was a sensational killer.

Duel wings tucked against her body slightly as she shifted, rising up slowly from the ground as her tail seemed to wrap around her hind legs loosely while the pricking sensation of spikes against her leonine tail did little to deter it away. Inside she felt renewed, rejuvinated with a deeper vendetta against the world and what it had done to her although the fragmented feelings and emotions still jabbed at her. She felt alone but it was a familiar feeling, something that she almost welcomed with open wings but, likewise, she wanted someone there- someone to use, someone to hurt and someone who could fufill her own dark desires. Yes, perhaps it was a longing to find someone, something, fitting.

But it was that such a thought was interrupted as a unfamiliar scent lingered within the air, faintly at first before it became stronger. Her nostrils twitched slghtly as the auroma was strange, foreign of course, yet it carried a slight familiar memory to it. Sabriel's ears flicked as her curly mane swayed slightly with a passing breeze, the chill air licking at the trail of hot tears long passed only left a chilling caress. Perhaps her longing wish was soon to be fulfilled or a nightmare itself was about to unveil- if it was a family member she could never garuntee that around her they would find safety, how could they? Her leonine tail behind her began to sway with an irritated manner before the figure seemed to emerge from out of nights darkness as she bristled slightly.

An Angeni. A pure Angeni, to be correct.

Voidless orbs narrowed as she stared toward the stallion. His voice was deep although somehow it was soothing and annoying at the same time. Kindness was foreign to her and something that was not trusted. Kindness lead to feelings, feelings lead to love and love lead to abandoment. It was another cycle and a trickery that seemed to leave others weak and obsolete.

"It did wonders for satisfying a craving although it seemed to lack in anything extrordinary," the mare replied. Her own voice was rather contemplative, soft, although it was laced with a darkness and a coy approach with trickery. So often it was a helpful tool in luring the unsuspecting and oblivious individual so close that condeming them to eternal slumber was all but simple! She was a deciever rather than a forceful individual who enjoyed the thrill of the hunt, if you would. "The only thing it seemed to do right was taste so delicious. The young ones always seem to taste the sweetest."

Slowly, her black wings unfurled from her sides while she craned her head slightly, darkened orbs curiously staring at the stallion. "But you certainly look as if you could easily provide a mare with what she's looking for, hmm?"

There was a strange air, in the area that the mare stood. Or maybe it was just her, herself. He couldn't quite pin-point. Astrophel had never met anyone as seemly dark as this female in from of him. Nor was he that dark himself, well- As far as he knew. She looked annoyed by his distrubance; or was it something else. Something could have been wrong, and he simply intruded somewhere. When she spoke, he wasn't to sure how to reply to that. He never killed before, well least to his knowledge. There was something so weet about her with that blood on her, just something about her. He grow interested in her. He watched her wings, she was like him, though- maybe not pure.

"So you make a habit of eating small creatures?" Astrophel held a lust for life and seeing it end by any means irked him just a bit. He was curious as to why she was eating one. Weren't Kalona's the only that ate flesh? He couldn't quite remember... As he walked a bit more out of the brush, he shook his head. The mist that formed at the ends of his hair pushed around, before gather along the ends of it again.

"Do you think so?" He asked her curiosuly. He was shy, atleast in this form. He would be a passionate romantic if his hidden self reared on the inside of him, especially with that strange sensation eminating from the female. He looked to the side some, curious to what she actaully meant. "I can't exactly say for sure. I guess it would depend on what would need providing?" He was indeed a bit clueless. His wings settled against his sides as he looked over her form. She had spikes sticking out of her flesh, was he seeing that right?

Maybe she really was of a darker nature, and he step into something that could possibly change his life forever.

Even Sabriel could feel a strange air lingering about- something unusual but she was certain that it was her who seemed to draw out such a chiling sensation accompanied by nights brisk cold. The Angeni seemed to stand out just a bit as the mists that seemed to formulate the ends of his mane almost danced about due to the gentle breeze if only to look like with a great breath she could cause them to vanish- it was intresting, really. Against the tapestry of the dark, star studded canvas it would seem as if the stallion seemed to shimmer, accompanying nights presence as if he was simply born to devote himself to such a mysterious timeframe. She was well aware that often Angeni's held domains, specializing in an aspect of life that, to one, would seem extraorindary or simply the greatest thing in the world. Although with being a rather strange mix of what was considered 'fallen' Angeni, Sabriel had no domain- that was left to the 'pure' of blood to consort with. Empty eyes seemed to settle on the stallion easily although his comment seemed to only rise a soft chuckle from out of the mares maw, a girlish giggle that seemed so sweet although truly was far from such a thing.

"Well it is a bit quicker than having to lure an innocent or hopeless romantic soquili. I get a little cranky when I'm hungry." As if for emphasis, her lip wibbled slightly with a solemn, almost sad expression before she mused with ears flicking, a brow arching upward. "Eating? Mind you I'm not some mindless killer like a skinwalker whose only purpose is to maim and disembowl anyone who dares to look at them." A sly, subtle grin curled along her maw. "Or at least right now I'm not. But the taste of that sticky, sweet liquid just ooozing witin your maw when still warm- it keeps the monsters inside at bay if only for a little while." Leaning her head down to her leg, she wiped away the remaining blood away from her face as she laughed softly.

"Silly me, I don't mean to be so messy."

As she slowly rose her head upward, Sabriel swayed her head gently as the locks of black and red wisped about to the side following the motion with almost an elegant appearance. The bloody feathers tucked wthin her mane atop her head rocked to and fro while small silver acessories within her hair clinked lightly with a shrill sound. She was curious of the stallion and why he had come or perhaps it was she who had unknowingly drawn him in- regardless she would have figured that by now a male of his countenance would have departed and let her be but such was not the case. Faint, obsolete eyes looked deeper into those of the stallion as if searching for something, trying to find who or what this stallion was searching for. Was it stupidity or a lonely heart that coaxed such an unlikely, if not handsome, candidate closer? Or perhaps it was something that was to be unexpected?

A small, devious smile played across her maw. Often the thrill of the unknown did wonders to edge on the unfolding events and, for now, she hoped that this would lead to something greater. He was doing so well, it would be a shame to send him to sleep now.

Stepping forward, the mare slowly walked around the stallion as her leonine tail swayed upward and caressed against his cheek, trailing across his maw and its tip almost seemed to stroke his chin while her eyes remained level with those of the stallion. "Oh I do," she breathed, exhaling with a rather pleasent, if not appealing, ring in her voice. "I've had my run ins with many a stallion but you- you seem as if you know exactly how to treat a lady or am I mistaken? You see, there are those who pretend to have such boisterous personalities but in the end they only lead to disappointment and can't keep a lady happy and there are those who are rather sensitive, meek and rather humble and those stallions often have the best surprises. And of course there are those who simply do as they please for the sake of their own desires, led by lust and greed but as for you, I think you seem a mix of the second and third." Flicking her tail softly away from his face, Sabriel ruffled her wings slightly.

The pain was numb in her legs to the point where it simply vanished out of thought and mind. The wrappings upon her leg trailed slightly as her feathered fetlocks graced upon the ground in a regal manner. His clueless and rather innocent nature was endearing although she couldn't help but seem to feel something else lurking behind such innocence. What exactly it was or could be she wasn't sure but one way or another it felt as if there was something, or perhaps someone, else smiling back at her.

"Oh you silly stallion," she laughed lightly. "Its love. Love is what needs to be provided. You'd be surprised how quickly it comes and goes but perhaps that's due to my appearance." Following his eyes, it seemed that he was, for the moment, drawn to the protruding spikes that came from out of her legs much like how everyone else seemed to notice that. A small frown curled upon her lips as she sighed. "A rather unfortunate trait, you wouldn't believe how hard it is to walk without finding yourself dragging something else along." Pursing her lips slightly, the mare walked to the side as if to catch his attention.

"So what brings a pure Angeni here. Aren't you a bit far from your haven within the clouds, handsome? Don't tell me they threw you out too. Seems like the Gods are getting a bit particular on who stays and goes, hmm? You might want to watch yourself- these days you can't seem to tell whose friend or foe."

He watched her, carefully listening. It was true, thre were others that had vice's hers was that of an small animal. He could understand that, even if he didn't quite approve of it. When she wiped her face, he watched her facefully her movements held almosta seductive tone to them. Was that the right word? It was more coy. He couldn't fathom a guess that set right. Watching her mane, and then finally seeing the whole of her, accesories, and all she just seemed to have an angry aura. As if she had been tormented, Astrophel could only guess. Maybe it was stupidity that kept him there, and he might justly pay for that but it wasn't how he felt; There was something that did draw him to her, and the unsettled beast inside him seemed to be the reason he was still standing there. Not to say he wouldn't have conversed with her in any other case, but might have been a bit more careful about it. But thoughts of the such were to late. As of right now she was circling him with that tail of hers, and its spikes. Was he scared of getting cut Or scared of the words she was saying to him? All unknwon territory to him.

Love? What was it, he had never really felt that feeling and she talked about it in almsot a crude sense that didn't settle with him. He didn't see the unbridled passion likethat of his other would. He wanted to comment, but anything he found didn't seem dignified for her with the tone she held. Saltry as it was he couldn't help but watch her. He took acknowledgement to her words. She had been thrown out? She was a fallen? It was interesting, the bliss, and single minded life he lived and it was like everything he knew wa being shattered by this single mare.

"I was just on my way to see a few friends I had made when I was a foal.." He trailed off seeing how stupid it must have sounded to her. He was going to see friends. He tilted his face a bit, and had pulled back a bit from her tail because of that unknowing nature. "What brings you out here?" He was tepted to ask about the animal again, but felt a gaurded speech would do him best if he wanted to leave as he had come.

She was intrigued, to be honest- perhaps moreso than before. The Angeni before her seemed so awestruck, oblivious as if the worlds that trailed from her maw were nothing but jibberish while as if a captivated, attentive hold still gripped the male before her and simply gave him no ability to lift his feet from the ground beneath and walk away. Sabriel's ears flicked slightly as she turned her body before him to face him while lingering light seemed to almost illuminate her eyes like that of a curious foal. A small chuckle, an amused one at that, rose softly from her chest as she arched a brow if only to continue silently contemplate. By the look of his facial exprssions it seemed as if the world itself was taking a new turn, unveiling a darker side that many often ignored or simply paid no attention to as so often individuals idealized a world with rainbows, sunshine, love and happiness that was never ending but, in reality, such a sickly harmonius place would never exist. Anyone who seemed to harbor suck twisted envisions of the world was one who was most certainly mad! Yes, once again she was the rude awakening, the eye opener for the blissfully unaware yet someone in this god forsaken massacre-of-a-land had to at least educate others. It wasn't so much of a duty as it was a pleasure; watching their once solid and unshakable understanding simply crumble before them was quite thrilling. But, for the moment, all she could do was attempt to sympathize with him.

"Awwww," she commented softly, lip quivering outward as she sighed. "Someones living in a fantasy land, aren't they? And yet you've managed this far to be able to stand here now and suddenly realize that there's a darker side to life? Wake up, sweetheart. If anyone should know that there's opposition in all things I would have sure bet my money on you but it seems that would be a hell of a bad call." She stepped closer as one of her wings slid underneath his chin and attempted to lift it upwards.

"Cheer up. At least your learning this now before you'll end up someones next meal."

As she slowly withdrew her wing, each feather seemed to gently caress under his neck and chin before she smirked slightly, leonine tail flicking behind her as she arched her brows. No doubt she was enjoying this- sometimes it was strange how fun could be found so easily when one didn't have to senselessly rampage about the land and mutliating or goring whatever poor creature one was so fortunate to come across. A slow, grin seemed to broaden across her maw. Desires and sensations seemed to course through her veins with an intoxicating level which was welcomed, almost like a soothing remedy to a severed soul. But what was this? It seemed as if the conversation was becoming more intresting!

He was out seeing friends then, hmm? What an unlikely story.

"Friends out here? Well, you must have some friends I would have never expected you to have," she mused. "That's such a cop-out. I get the feeling that you were looking for adventure, perhaps? Or were trying to spice it up a bit, hmm?" Sabriel only laughed softly, swaying her head along with loosely, curled locks as she exhaled. "Oh stallion, you were distracted weren't you?" She didn't expect him to answer, even a simple jawdrop or studder would suffice at this rate. Stallions these days often seemed so predictable, so boring! Where were all the good stallions and where had they gone? The ones who knew how to soothe a tempered soul whose darkness swooned with opposition and an agressive nature. It seemed these days there were so many impersonators who believed themselves to be terrible beasts and ruthless individuals with no heart but, again, it was all a ploy.

Somewhere out there, there was someone for her. She only hoped that she would find them before she accidentally killed them. Such a thing would be rather unfortunate, wouldn't it?

As the question was then poised at her, Sabriel arched a brow slightly. Out here? The mare coudn't help but fang a smile as she ruffled her wings against her side. "Where the shadows are thick and the light is dim, that's where I go. Although if you want to be more specific these lands are rather choice for those who stalk the night as well as those who aren't, how do you say, as fond of Angeni's as some are. Its nothing but a game for the high rollers out here." Her maw opened slightly as her tongue slid across her teeth, eyes rolling as she shook her head. "I would hope you would be thankful that I haven't even laid a hoof on you but perhaps that is my own downfall- I'm intrigued by you, stallion. You're a bit too innocent to kill so quickly as well as somewhat charming although you're sadly a bit too dense." Had it been a simple male, there would have been a likely chance that he would have already fallen deep into sleep eternal but, somehow, it seemed as if the Angeni before her remained in tact, in one piece even, and continued breathing. Surely this would go down in history as well as be held against her if other 'acquaintances' were nearby enjoying such a rare feat. But perhaps it was better to finish his question before anything of the unexpected spurred.

"There's plenty of succulent things that often quench my cravings and with the shadows of my cloak I tend to always get what I want." If only to add emphasis, Sabriel winked.

"And do you know what I really want?"

Astrophel blinked at her. Man was she an angry one. He was taken aback by her tone and comments. It wasn't that he didn't KNOW there were darker things in life, he tended to avoid them, because he loved life, and being happy and sharing good times with his friends. Taking a step away from her, and her wing, he really didn't need to take this. Sure, her position n this life might not have been her choice fully, but he felt she could have made changes. His blue eyes shifted over her and then looked through her.

"I was simply following the wing, and over landed my destination. I really didn't think trying to walk there was going to cause a problem." He raised his had, the mist at the ends of his hair vanished before re-gathering at the sudden movement. Ahh, so it would seem that he had just landed in a bad area, and ran into her. He couldn't quite figure out if she was going to attack him yet or now. But he was getting a bit nervous, there really was nothing keeping her from hurting him.

"I intrigue you?" He wondered what she meant by that. His wings stretched out and settled again his sides. He wondered what she was up too, and it made him lean away from her. What did she want? "Do you expect me to know? Everyone wants different things. But if its anything I can help with... I guess I owe it to you to try." It was true, she could have killed him, or at least tried. He wasn't to sure of his strength on that front.

He was scared of upsetting her, but if he stood there like an idiot it could possible just be the same. "I really should be on my way... I never meant to disturb you, I guess my curiosity got the best of me, and I must say I've learned my lesson..." Maybe she was just lonely? He was a lot of the time, thats why he was trying to make a lot of friends. If she was lonely, and was looking for a friend he would be more then happy to try, but if she was going to eat him... that was a less desirable outcome. He wondered if asking her to join him would be something she would laugh at. He didn't want to get humiliated by her anymore...

It would seem that this stallion wasn't adjusted to being stroked or even near anything of a dark aura- Sabriel pouted slightly as he bottm lip curled, wings folding back to her side as the stallion stepped back. Oh yes, she could have made changes to her live but with a rather keen mind prone to forget and a mindfame who knew nothing but darkness and blotted out much of anything that could ever be construed as happiness it was unlikely or, rather, a hazard. darkened, silver orbs settled upon the stallion once more as ears flicked somewhat curiously. So he had overshot his destination? Oh my, my! Well what a place to end up in, she thought. The mare ruffled her wings against her side, taking a step forward as her leonine tail flicked behind her.

"Is that so hard to believe? Although these questions are rather dull- yes, you intrigue me. Its been a while since I've been around my own 'kind', you can say," she commented.

Blacked, loose curls swayed ever so gently as she turned her head slightly as if to look at him from a different angle. Again, the stallion seemed to lean away from her and such an act only caused her to chuckle softly, a slight giggle erupting. Oh the pathetic nature of some! Yet it seemed his rationality of expecting him to know what it was she seemed to desire was more appealing then his action which, truthfully, would have done little to protect himself if an attack was necessary. But, if luck would have it, the stallion did offer help- something of which she rarely accepted nor needed; Sabriel was quite thrifty, a jack of all trades when it came to relying on herself or using others, along with a decent amount of manipulation, to get what she wanted. But, as of lately, what she wanted couldn't simply be obtained by herself- no, it was much more complicated and often even mentioning such a thing was somewhat difficult as others often didn't take her seriously or evaded her. This certain desire, this certain need, this craving, only grew stronger! Perhaps if she had what her siblings had she too would feel 'normal'.

A small sigh escaped from her maw accompanied by a puff of mist. Darkness seemed to stir within her yet even so it had its own unique way in expressing itself- as for Sabriel, it did well in creating a well defined mask upon her face where true intentions were masked, almost cloaked. She was much like an actress; she could take on many personalities and roles which were suitable when needed in situations and, now, it was showtime.

"If I tell you I'm afraid that perhaps you would not take me seriously," she remarked, a more downtrodden and rather somber expression playing across her face. "But it doesn't matter. Perhaps I shouldn't keep you from your friends and besides, who would ever want to listen to a monster such as myself?"

She laughed to herself, obviously taking a well needed hint that the stallion had other plans and was in a hurry. Without saying much as her eyes fell downtrodden to the ground, Sabriel slowly turned around and turned her back to the Angeni as she began to slowly walk away. If all had gone according to plan, he would take the bait. Besides, wasn't that how it always played out? The stallion was too nice for his own good, too compassionate, and for now she could only hope that she had somewhat tugged at his heart strings enough for him to inquire.

For an added effect, she sniffled quietly, ruffling her feathers while her leonine tail wrapped around one of her backlegs and around its protruding spikes. "How silly of me to think that anyone cared," she commented, turning around if only for a moment to look into the stallions pools of blue."And here I thought this time would be different. Obviously I thought wrong."

Sabriel swayed her head away as it hung in front of her and stood there for several moments, waiting.

Would he speak or was it now time for his own exit scene?

Astrophel seemed to loose himself in what was going on. The mare was puzzling to him and he just couldn't understand her. Her actions and her words, caused him to shiver in fear, but something about that fear kept him there. As if this was one of his many purposes in life... She could very well be entwined into his destiny. But then the tables seemed to turn completely. everything about her went from seductive and threatening to submissive and sad...

He wanted to leave, and escape from all of this. His sense was coming back to him. It would be the smart thing to leave, but he had met her, and now she part of his life... It was one of those weird things, fate and destinies... How could he just leave now... Even if her mood change was just a game to her...

She made that sad puppy face to him, and he did feel that pull to leave but he knew Istas and the others would understand; its not like they couldn't do things without him... "..." He was falling for the bait. Just something about her was keeping him there. "I don't even know you... How could I really genuinely care if I don't know you, or have some kind of relationship with you? " that was right, its not like he was obligated to care about every stranger but it wasn't in his personality to just ignore her, if she was in need. "I told you if you needed some help or whatever I would do what I could... But I can't say I care because i don't know you." He tilted his head some, and looked around. It was getting a little creepier. "If you want to ... Walk with me... We could talk... About what is."

He wasn't to sure if thats something she wanted, if if she was trying to plot something. "I think walking would be good..." He nodded to himself. Her sad posture made him wonder a bit. Could there really be something wrong with her? She seemed very assure of her self, but from his experience he found that some use that as ah act, a mask.

Be it fate or destiny or perhaps a strange coincidence, it was most amusing to see that Sabriel had not even touched the male nor inflicted any pain in him. Why she hadn't still seemed to surge through her mind but perhaps, in this case, it would seem that rationality, for once, was in the drivers seat. Although such a feat happened rarely, the mare did find herself in awe of the Angeni. Oh yes, time and time again she had stumbled upon several who had come to thise god forsaken lands yet as for this one- he was different. Even the mere feat of still standing was remarkable; he was certainly a lucky one. But even behind those sad, dull orbs of black and pouting features there was some genuine truth behind her words. Perhaps not enough to fulluy convict others into believing her but it seemed just the right amount in leading the stallion to actually socialize with her rather than fleeing for fear of his life. A small, ever slight smile almost danced across her maw as her lips curved. Oh, he was a clever one wasn't he? Sabriel ruffled her wings while her leonine tail swayed gently behind her with a simple flick to and fro. "Yes, you don't know me- at least not yet," she commented, turning her head to the side to face him as loose curls of jet black hung much like eerie shadows around her head, almost draping against her brilliant white hide as she chuckled.

"I don't need a relationship perhaps I just need to clear my mind, really."

It would seem quite a puzzling or even confusing situation; a stranger asking for help or even coy enough to try and seduce another into something so out of ones comfort zone. Yet oddly enough it seemed to be working and Sabriel herself was somewhat caught off guard. This Angeni, this stallion- seemed to sickly nice for his own good. But was this actually a moment where she would come to terms and accept such an offer and unload herself to him? What would her sister, Airlia, think? Granted even with a severed mind and a conflicted status, Sabriel Valentine still was very much a mare- and at times every mare would need to come to terms with her own emotions and need help. Of all times and places it seemed that this was certainly one of those moments along with a stallion who was willing to listen even if he still was skeptical if such an offer which he put forth was still a good idea. How he had managed to keep himself from flying away from her and still remained rather kind, if unecessary, was beyond her. Even she didn't deserve to be treated with respect. Did he not at least witness of what darkness she harbored? But then again was that really her? This darkness this void and savage beast? She didn't know. How could she? It would seem that she was left to believe whatever others told her or accused her of being. Yes, that seemed right yet so wrong at the same time; since when did she allow others to decree what she should be known to the world as?

"You don't have to care, stallion. Even if you don't listen then at least I can get this off of my chest and be done with it. Even the darkest of souls or illest of creature need to rid of the burdens they carry." There was no tricks, no ploy or even maticulous ideas that were intended to leave with a result of a satisfied thirst or even vengeful satisfaction. No. For once she wanted to release what pent up tension remained encarserated within her and let bygones be bygones, or at least until another day. With a graceful manner, the mare stepped forward and began walking toward the stallion as her wings folded against her side. Dullen orbs rested easily upon the Angeni as she looked toward him as a small, warm smile seemed to slip upon her lips.

"Yes. I think a walk would... be nice," she replied.

The mere idea seemed to settle well with her. Walking and talking? Well, aside from the many times she and her sister had talked together while surveying an area it would seem that this felt a bit different. She was certain that these feelings weren't hunger or even anger- something far from such a spectrum. But for now such thoughts were pushed aside as the mare settled herself beside him, looking at him before staring out into the darkness as she began to walk slowly. For a moment her brows knitted slightly as she glanced toward him, lips pursed for a moment before she sighed. "Are you always this nice to every creature? I can imagine that gets a little boring, hmm?"

It was a general question- never had the mare herself been subject to such treatment. Well, actually- to those who did subject her to such treatment and kindness often were tricked and somewhat devoured. It was unfortunate, really. But this stallion was not for eating, she had decided that long ago.

"You're rather trusting for one so pure; walking the line rather close to grey while in between white and black. But I do think that if we're going to actually have a question and answer period or at least take a stroll I should at least know you're name- that sounds reasonable, doesn't it? No gimmicks, no tricks. I'll even go first." A broadened smile stretched across her maw. It was warm, cordual even, as the mare exhaled a soft misty breath from out of her maw. "I'm Sabriel. Sabriel Valentine is my full name but I'll also answers to Sabs. My full name sometimes can be a mouthful- it would seem the Valentine was added as I was born on that silly two leggers holiday which celebrates love and affection."

Curiosity seemed to stir from within her silver orbs while her head tilted to the side. "And you, stallion?"

Astrophel met mares the most, in his time. From a foal to this adult hood, very few stallions. All these mares wore their heart on their sleeve, as the expression one. You could almost read them like a book. It was something he had grown used to. Mares were emotional and there were always things going on in this heads. He was able to at least appreciate that. So as he looked down at her, he wasn't an open book to read. She was shut and locked. Did he have that key to help maybe cease that answer? He was strange how that feeling of awkwardness around her started to melt away. Or even fear. He just wanted to help her, if she wanted to be help. If there was even anything for him to help with. She was right, and he knew it. He could have been her lunch long ago. Just like that small animal. He understood answer and all emotions. He probably would have made a better mare, he thought sometimes. Such little stallion mentoring had turned him into a softy.

When She had finished her deep thought, and moved to join him, he let her take the real first step in their walk. If she wanted to back out, he would let her. He wasn't there to force himself on her in any manner. He felt letting her know she was still in control was the best route.

"Well you see... I was generally raised by this mare Named Forte. She's very kind and caring, and believes everyone deserves a second chance if the first chance was a blow out." He laughed at her a little. "I grew up with mares, very little interaction with other stallions so I guess that unconditional kindness came from them. As one of the others said. 'You you always be kind to others, even if it may be a one time meeting... because you really never know when you may meet them again and need their help.' So we might be destined to meet in a year... I could be in a lot of trouble, but in hopes out us having a pleasant time together in the past you might be more inclined to help me." He hoped that he phrased that all right. "And in all honesty, being nice doesn't really ever get boring becasue you get to meet and know a lot of others. If I wasn't; then I no one would ever want to talk to me."

When he finished talking he nodded in agreement with her, about the name. "Sabriel Valentine." He repeated and thought. "It has a nice ring to it..."He laughed a little thinking about the two legger day. He had experienced it once, not to long ago. "My name is Astrophel. " He smiled down to his side at her. He could feel himself getting more relaxed now, whether that was good or not... He'd soon find out.
