Givenna: *walking around, not really thinking, more like day-dreaming*
Nox: *Rests in the shade, a bit thinner than she should be. Eyes closed*
Givenna: *catches a familiar scent on the breeze, snapping her head up* Can it be? *scans for her* Momma! *runs to her, overjoyed*
Mekare: *a little happier, having forged a new link where one was thought lost forever* ... *sees Givenna running, but not Nox* Geez... I can't even get within a hundred yards of my children anymore... *sighs but slowly continues in Givenna's direction*
Nox: *Lifts her head, sees her daughter and smiles* My sweet! *She starts to sit up, then sees Mekare, she blinks a bit before continuing to smile sweetly*
Givenna: *reaches down to nuzzle her obviously frail mother* What's wrong Momma? You don't look well... *puts her head under her mother's chin to nudge her lightly*
Mekare: *sees Givenna stop* Nox... *stops for a moment before continuing forward, a soft smile on his own face* Nox... how are you doing? *trying to hide his concern*

Givenna nudged her mother again before laying down and snuggling into her. "I missed you Momma... I've been so lonely... I miss the ruins, so much. I found a little one on the edge of the trees. Just a couple rocks though, but enough to remind me of home..." She purred softly and flicked her mother with her tail, where had all the time gone?
Mekare had watched his oldest daughter take off, but he had thought it was becuase of him. As Nox came into view he stopped dead but the smile on her face welcomed him closer. But how would she act when he was nearer? Would Givenna prevent him from seeing her? She looked frail.. unhealthy. Was someone treating her poorly? Questions raced through his head as he tried his best to keep his slow, calm pace.

"I miss them too my sweet.." She nuzzled her daughter tenderly, only the gods knew how much she'd missed her. Nox flicked her own tail against her daughters with a smile, now all they needed was Cae and it would be perfect.
Her eyes were drawn to Mekare, she only smiled. "Hello Mekare.." She finally said, her life had not taken the roads she thought it would have. Rellick was no longer apart of her life, the b*****d she thought. But she had two wonderful children with him, as she did with Mekare.
She licked her daughters cheek.

"Papa." Givenna said sourly, but almost regreted it when her mother gave him a nicer greeting. She didn't know what to say. How could she ask him about her brother? He wouldn't know. She had thought Cae was with mother... "I mean... hello Papa." She cast her eyes to the ground, avoiding his gaze. She didn't want to see the sadness there...
Mekare smiled softly, a new light in his eyes, it was no longer depressing like it had been. It had been lit by someone he hadn't seen in a long time, now it only grew brighter to see Nox again. "Hello Nox." He said softly, then turned to his daugher. "Givenna..." He said with a genuine smile, leaning closer her nosed her cheek before sitting. "Nox... how are you?" He wanted things to go nicer... how he wished he hadn't messed up.

Nox glanced between the two, her brow arched slightly. She wouldnt ask what was wrong between them, instead she nuzzled her daughers shoulder once more, so happy to be with her once more. "Your brother would be here, if he wasnt off with your half brother out looking at the world." She smiled softly. "Better than them being murders.." She sighed a bit. She looked up at Mekare, she shifted so he could join them better, "Living life I suppose.." She smiled at him, "How are you?" she had wished things had gone so much better, but it seemed she wasnt meant for love, even Rellick couldnt love her. She laid her head ontop her paws now, her eyes slightly dimmed.

Mekare smiled, thinking of his son. "I'm doing better... I found my brother, I thought he was dead... seems he's not." He tried to say it as calmly as possible but he couldn't hide his joy as it shone in his eyes. "But I couldn't stay with him and his family... I didn't want to be a burden... and I had things to do, people to see..." He said softly, looking up to Givenna on the last part. Why did she still hate him so? He understood if Nox had unpleasent feelings... but his own flesh and blood?
Givenna had followed her mother's movements and allowed her father to join them. She was still not looking at him, how could she? He had caused so much trouble... leaving her alone... She flicked her tail, trying to stay in a somewhat good mood. But when he began speaking she raised her gaze curiously, only to catch him looking at her. She sighed again, feeling more guilty.

She flicked her tail, "What is going on between you two?" she finally said, things were getting a bit hard to just leave alone. "Its good to hear you found your brother.." She nodded her head, " I doubt you'd ever be a burden to anyone Mekare." She smiled once more.
She was sort of glad her sons werent with her, Caedmon would be happy to see his siter and father, but she wasnt sure how her other son would take it in really. He'd see Mekare as only another who hurt her, and he was overly protective..And she'd forgive Mekare a long time ago..though she wondered if she should tell him that.

"Nothing." Givenna said quickly which gave away her real feelings. She sighed and looked to her mother. "I'm just... angry... still. I miss you... and Cae... so much and well.. I havn't forgiven him for that!" She snapped as she glared at him before settling against her mother. "But... I want to stop hurting so much... I love you Momma... and he hurt you." She added in a whisper.
Mekare shook his head. "I'm sorry Givenna, I've told you this every time you let me speak with you for more than a couple minutes. You can always come with me. Even though I don't have any place to go really... I'll probably find my old friend..." He sighed and look to Nox. "I wanted this to be a happy reunion..." he said with a cheesy smile, trying to make the situation a little more comfortable.

"Givenna.." Nox sighed a bit, "Yes, he did. But your father didnt mean to, what happened just..happened. We miss you too my darling daughter. Your more than welcome to join us at anytime..Well me since Im on my own now." She nosed her daughters cheek. "I love you too, very much. But I've forgiven him completely...I cant make you do the same." She cuddles her close as if she were a cub. "But you will most likely feel better." She looked up to Mekare, "Everything will just fine, Im happy to see you both."

Forgiven ... Mekare smiled and stepped closer, nosing his daughter. "You see? We can make this work Gi..." He said softly, but he was more concerned with Nox now... why was she alone? "Nox... I am quite surprised to see you here though... I had thought you'd gone back to the ruins..." His world had crashed around him when she had been angry with him. It had been in chaos since they hard parted... but after finding his brother and now seeing Nox, things were beginning to straighten out. Shaking his head he was brought back to the real world.
Givenna sighed and nodded. "Yes Momma..." She mewed, thinking of her mother being with her again. "It will work out..." she added, more to herself then to them. "Momma... why can't we go to the ruins together?" She asked curiously, looking up to her.

"It hurt to much to be there.." She looked away a bit, it reminded her of the love she once had, of their happy family. Thinking about it now choked her up, tears brimmed her two toned eyes now, she smiled faintly. "We can go back my sweet..I'd like that so very much." She sighed softly.

"We can go back, you and I... and Cae can come too when he's done seeing things..." She purred and nuzzled her mother. "You are looking pale... didn't you once sparkle? When we were home?" She had been so young when they had lived there, her mother had been happier, healthier. She could have sworn she shone... just like an angel. She always had thought her mother was an angel.
Mekare's smile faded a little and he nodded. "Yes... I think it would be a good idea... it would give me more people to visit..." He added with a forced smile. He wanted to live there again... and show Nox it could all be better... But that ship had sailed, and he was left on the deserted island.

She looked down at her rune markings, they had once glowed ever so brightly, but now they were dull and faded. The longer she was away, the more they faded...it seemed she did as well. She chuckled softly, "Cae wasnt one with the runes like we are my sweet. The world is his rune.." She nuzzled against her daughter soft, oh how she missed her children, their unfaltering love.
She looked to Mekare, "You could come too.." She offered that faint branch of hope.

Givenna smiled, "I hope he'll come visit soon, even for a while. I miss him." With the sudden urge to stand, Givenna nipped at her mother's flakes. "What's keeping up Momma? I have no where else to be..." She grinned and jmped a little, getting all giddy. She finally had something to do! With a purpose!
Mekare waiting for a moment, trying not to attack the subject with an explosion of 'yes's or 'of course's. He smiled and nodded, but the excitment burst in his eyes. "I'd like that. Very much as a matter of fact." Keeping his voice calm he also rose when seeing Givenna's energy spring forth. "That is, if you'll have me." He looked to Nox, trying to hide the pleading look, before looking to his daughter.

Nox slowly rose to her paws, she shook a bit but smiled happily at her daughter as she tilted her head away from her flakes being nipped. "Alright m'dearest..We can go now if you'd like.." She flicked her tail a bit. "I miss him too, but Im most happy to be here with you.." She nuzzled her daughters shoulder as she turned her face towards Mekare.
She could only smile for a long moment before she nodded her head, "Of course.." She said, she moved towards him and smiled up at him a bit before turning back towards their daughter. "Shall we go before it gets dark?" She looked around, ready to be home again.
