Ri stalked around the area she and Ketu tended to meet in. Outcast. SHE had been outcast from the hybrid coalition. She sighed. Perhaps it did serve her right...she had grown too confident in her abilities to deceive. The cub swiped at a rock.
No matter...it was time to go home. And she was going to take Ketu with her. He was, after all, HERS. Well, so long as she kept his loyalty. But first he needed to GET here so she could talk with him.

Deep red eyes noticed her irritation long before he showed himself. He pondered what was wrong with the demonic princess but shrugged it off. He gave a chuckle as he slipped fromt he shadows to stand before his mistress, lowering his head he let a calm smirk dance across his maw. "What ails you mistress?" He whispers, his voice confident cocky, his eyes burning with a desire only to serve the lioness before him.

The dark cub frowned. "My plans were foiled." She wrinkled her nose. "By a bunch of non-demons...leopards and hybrids." Ri's distaste for the half-breeds was obvious in her tone. "Useless, mostly. But no matter..." She smirked. "I am able to go home sooner..." She held a paw out to Ketu.
"And you may finally set foot in our lands."

For a moment Ketu was calm, for he could hold in his excitement for at elast a time, but which ever way you looked at it, he was still young and the thought of finally returning to their future 'home' excited him. A smile lifted his lips, his tail and head following suit. "It is a victorious day then my mistress" he whoispers moving closer to her, his tail thwapping now in restrained excitement.

"One day those fools will pay for their wrongs they had done to you, I swear it."

Ri chuckled and nodded. "Oh they shall..." She grinned, bloodlust in the expression. "One day, I shall make them pay with my own claws." Shaking herself a bit to calm down, she smiled more gracefully at Ketu. "Tie up any loose ends you might have...we depart at sunset tomorrow...and will be home within a week."

Ketu scoffed. "I don't have any loose ends, the fools who have been raising me will not miss me, I go I feed I leave. I have no need for them or their foolish ways." he tossed a flick of hair from his eyes, and smirked. "I will rest with you tonight mistress and in the morn I will follow you to the ends of the earth if i have to."

Ri laughed softly. "Well then...All is well for now then. Though...sunrise is still a couple hours away. We shall travel far as we can tonight." Her smile turned into a grin again. "Come, the sooner left, the sooner home." And with that, she started towards Aikanaro with a brisk trot. Her paws would know the way to home...always, always....

Ketu nodded and picked up his paws following after Ri, his head high his shoulders and chest puffed forwards giving the illusion of size, though he was a large youngster, he was still young. "Tell me again what it is like Mistress, tell me of the lands."

Rapture flooded into Ri's features as she spoke. "They are beautiful. Part jungle, part wasteland, mostly savanna. And dominating it all is the hell gate. The great fiery mountain." Oh how she looked forward to the day she would be able to claim her place as an adult and enter the depths of the mountain. "There are demons like us everywhere, and strength of mind as well as body are valued." She giggled. "Fights are not unusual among the cubs and juveniles, since we must grow strong. Even hunting is learned early."

The young male smiled, the look of pure dlight that was over his maw was priceless, he could see the world in which he belonged in hsi minds eye and together he and Ri would walk through those fiery gates in to the depths of those lands. The lands of the demons. "Is the journey far Ri?" he turns his gaze upon the lioness raising a brow questioningly, although he didn't care how far, he wished to get there soon, he wished to be in those lands.

Ri nodded. "Far...but not too far. No more than a week's travel by night." She sighed in happy relief. "Oh how I look forward to walking across the borders. I miss being surrounded by my own kind. It has been...DREADFUL surrounded by so many non-demons." She shivered. "And most of them were utterly useless. Though...I believe one of my brothers has a trace of demon in him." She scoffed at that, however. "But he cares too much for our mother to even warrant me asking him to join us."

Ketu rolled his dark eyes, what a fool, her own sibling unwilling to embrace something as wonderful as demonhood. He kept the thought to himself though continuing on at her side. "Then in a week we shall finally be able to embrace what we truely are." Ketu smirked and wapped his tail as he picked up his paws a little his gaze upon the path ahead, the world they would soon be a part of would welcome them and he was determined to be the greatest demon, standing at Ri's side for eternity.
