the first music is... Doubtable. There's a margin of doubt that can be taken as "Was this really copied or was it just all coincidential"
But...
The Septette for a dead Princess and Beethoven's music... It's the same. There's no way you can say otherwise
There's also the chance that it was made on purpose.

the first one is not really similar, though if one were to listen they could find some parts that are similar. The second one though is almost clearly the same.
ZUN probably made it in honor of those two songs..? maybe..? blaugh

Maybe Beethoven was a time traveler who also happened to be a fan of touhou!

I've noticed this too. A lot of doujin circles seem to copy parts of other songs into their own arrangements. I can only name three examples off the top of my head; all of them are of Touhou remix songs that copied their intros from Western bands: - SHO's Watching Crow ~ Sonata Arctica's 8th Commandment- Magnum Opus' 月まで届け、不死の煙 ~ DragonForce's Where Dragons Rule (it's noticeable that one song is related to dragons and the other to phoenixes, both being sworn enemies in Chinese lore)- Magnum Opus' ネクロファンタジア ~ DragonForce's Through the Fire and Flames

@ that last one... Since that song was released before GH3, could it possibly be that DragonForce is secretly Touhou fans and heard that particular arrange?

The second two has almost the same intro IMO, which isn't a bad thing. As for the third pair... *faved the Touhou version* EDIT: Thank you for sharing BTW biggrin

I doubt it, Through the Fire and Flames was released first. Although it would be bloody funny if they were. xd horneldiablo Thank you for sharing BTW biggrin You're welcome. ^-^

I think they are... Bet Magnum Opus had to ask DragonForce to use Where Dragons Rule for this one... 竹取飛翔 ~Lunatic Princess~Where Dragons RuleThe guitar solo in particular is almost identical, even if half of it is on the keyboard. (although it's put to better use in Touhou XD)
