alright, so apparently we're not allowed to have a thread with multiple conversations anymore, though this was acceptable in the past... so if you want to continue the discussion started in the alcohol thread, post here and NOT there. also, if you want to join in, read the alcohol thread and don't repeat the same points as have already been discussed.

I feel that pot gets s**t on a lot based on its legal status more then everything. I smoke pot, and have for about two years now. Yes, obviously, it is bad for you, smoking ANYTHING is bad for you. Depending on how much you smoke, it can be worse for some then others, again stating the obvious. Alcohol is much more harmful (and more physically impairing) then pot. While it is not my place to say smoking and driving is a good idea, I will state that a drunk person behind the wheel of a car is much more dangerous then some one high. Also, against popular belief, pot does not form physical addictions. Now, if you smoke breakfast lunch and dinner, then try stopping, I'm pretty sure you want to get blazed right away, but that is a mental fixation to want to be high, rather then a real addiction, NEEDING the drug (such as Coke, Heroin, ect). Comparing recreational pot smoke to your standard cigarette smoker, the cigs do fare more damage then the pot. And comparing a standard Pot head with a alcoholic, the alcoholic does fare more damage to his self (and others, in cases) then that of the pot smoker. I personally don't want it to be legal, more based on the fact that company's will add other things such as preservatives, growing agents, and additives. (unless the government sets guidelines, but I doubt it would become legal in the first place).

If you don't smoke, I respect that, I'm not trying to convince the world to smoke, but dont blindly poke at my post with out coming up with a good counter argument smile Just my two cents.
