Name : Lydia Isabella Diamond

Ethnicity :White Caucasian
Hair/Eye Color : (If you choose to post a picture, it must be a real life one. NOT an anime character.) Hair- Dark brown but in the sun it looks slightly auburn. Her hair is normally straight in the mornings (due to her spending an inordinate amount of time fussing over her naturally wavy locks) and becomes slowly more curly. She has dark brown eyes that look almost black, except for a small, gold ,crescent shaped path on her right iris. She has a small nose and full lips, and seems to always be half an inch shorter than everyone else. (sorry, didn't know where to put it
Pet : (Only small animals. EX: owl, cat, toad...be reasonable & realistic. ) (Only ONE animal can come with you to Hogwarts) A female tabby cat called Rafiki, who is extremely lazy and fat.
Home Life : (Family, where you live, ect)
Lydia lives in England, in a small village near to a town, in the midlands. She lives in a large cottage,with her family.
Mother- Alison Diamond, Muggle. Runs a small swimming pool business with her father. Comes from the posh end of London and likes cooking, gardening and children.
Father-Ian Diamond, Muggle. Manages his own business. Moved into the countryside with her mother and they built a house together. Used to be a rocker and a rebel, now very family orientated.
2 older sisters, one younger.
Sister 1 -Tilly, Muggle, 18 years old. Goes to the local university and studies geology. Only one in the family to have blonde hair. Likes the outdoors and animals.
Sister 2- Clare, muggle, 16 years old. Goes to the local high school. Used to be off the rails, but after nearly getting her stomach pumped due to drinking an unruly amount of alcohol, has studies extremely hard to become a physiologist.
Sister 3- Susie, ?, 10 years old. Goes to a local primary school. Hasn't shown much magical potential yet, but has not yet lost hope. Mischievous and annoying, and thinks that Clare can do no wrong.

After spending her primary school days being penalized for being clever and small, when Lydia she decided now was the perfect chance to re-invent herself. However, old habits are hard to grow out of, and she has so far continued with her nerdy ways, in spite of her constant battle to fit in. However, with a new year comes a new opportunity, and shes determined to change.
She likes to think shes a generally happy person, quite funny and intelligent, however she lacks self confidence, and enjoys being with people and without. She detests bullies, and people who complain that they wish they could do or be something else, and never try to do anything about it, even though this does make her a bit of a hypocrite.

The silence was only punctuated by the ruffle of parchment. Her eyes darted along the page, much faster than her mind could process the news, as she re read the letter for the 16th time. Her whole body shook with adrenaline. A whole new school, a whole new group of people, a whole new life. It was more than she could have wished for. She had always yearned for her life to be an adventure, but was going to a school of witchcraft and wizardry too much?

You have been Accepted
to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
A bit on the short side, but you've actually said alot in such few words.
Her relationship with her family could have been expanded upon, but I feel
you did excellent work in describing Lydia's personality. And that you didn't
hesitate to point out her flaw, being a bit hypocrytical, makes her so much
more real. I look forward to seeing what becomes of this 4th Year.
