Hello,
I was thinking this over a bit ago after the opinion was mentioned to me that people in high ranks should be active. I want to know what you all think about this matter:
1. How much does guild activity matter when selecting someone for a high rank Team Sprocket position? Is there other things that should be taken into account?
2. On a scale between 1-10 (1 lowest and 10 highest) how active do you think a high ranking member of Team Sprocket should be for Team Sprocket guild matters? Why?
3. Do you feel that if a high ranking member is inactive, that someone else more active should be given an opportunity at the rank? Why or why not?
If you would rather not say these opinions in this thread but would like to vocalize your opinion, please PM me. Everyone's opinions matter to me...Because after all, a strong organization is founded on being open to others' opinions and collaboration. Never forget that, Sprockets. 3nodding

To be brutally honest, yes, yes I do. I'm not trying to sound rude, so please excuse if it comes across that way, but things change. Sure, the guild isn't very active, so theres not need for a bunch of mods. But a single new mod, who posted more then once ever 1-2 months would be nice. Maybe one who was on daily to send out guild invites and such.
Course, if we had a few new mods, maybe one or two. And set up a stickied Chat room thread in the guild. We could reactivate the guild and stop the off topics in the thread.
I'm not saying I don't chat off topic, actually I'm probably one of the worst. But if there was an active athoritive figure watching the guild to stop off topic chat, then it would help. Maybe a penalty, 3 warnings = I dunno, a 1-2 week ban from the guild. I dunno. Off + On topics could be stopped as well. Again, I do it too, but I don't really think those should be allowed. xD
Anyways, I'm rambling. But those are the thoughts buzzing around my noodle.

I think that activity is a important thing for a higher rank, but there are things that need to be taken into consideration, like if someone is moving, etc. and may be gone for a few months.
Perhaps if someone knows they're not going to be active for awhile we could give them acertain window before considering giving away their rank, or they could assign a temporary replacement.
And if we are deciding that someone is too inactive, it should probably be in a case where someone hasn't posted for a month or more, and send them a warning message or something.

I completely agree. Any Executive caught missing for several months and only appears to make sinister, but pointless comments should be punished!

Eh, then I'll probably get in trouble. I need to get more active... as I am an Executive. lol I like a temporary replacement idea though, after a notified leave.

I've been pretty busy with college stuff, but to be honest, the guild hasn't been very active either... >>; Otherwise, as the Tama Expert of Team Sprocket, I will try to drop by more often.

Most of my posting goes into the Thread. Which is ignored alot of the time... Nothing particularly intresting happens in the guild (In my mind at least), so forgive me for not be as active as can be

i think when it comes to rank, a high rank member should be as active in the guild as they are active in the thread. because 50/50 seems fair enough to me~
