I think the origenal CSI: is going down hill a little bit tell me what you think. And is this the last season?

YAY RANT TIME!
No it's not the last season, and if it is they haven't posted it yet
And I completely agree. The season 9 first episode was the most powerful episode of CSI yet in my opinion and I felt that they treated Warrick's death with such emotion and it was such an emotional episode (I cried for like the whole episode). Then after that it went to hell. At first I thought the Grissom leaving thing was a rumour and I laughed hysterically, and I was so wrong. The episode quality isn't there anymore. These cases are solved now with as little as moss and eye contact, and it's come to the point where it's not as exciting anymore, for me personally. I like Laurence Fishburne but Grissom, in my opinion, held the show. Catherine, Nick and Greg are strong but recently their characters seem to be either pointless or slightly annoying. I watched the show for 6 years and two weeks ago I actually forgot it was on! It is going downhill and in my opinion, it should be the last season. It's okay right now, but I think season 10, unless something like jawdropping happens at the end of this season, will become a show that no longer has originality and I believe it will fail. This is just my opinion though.

I haven't seen much of the current season, I'm way to busy, but I don't really see how they can continue without Grissom unless they develop Catherine and everybody else a whole lot.

About this season being the last, there is a point when a show should end because if it doesn't, it can only get worse and ruin everything that came before. I don't want that to happen, but if they don't come up with something to keep CSI original, they should probably end the show after this season.

I don't really like CSI as much now that Grissom is gone. I dealt with it when Sarah left, but Grissom held the team together. It just feels discombobulated now!!! And I don't think I like the Langston very much. Everyone seems like they are off doing their own thing. They should bring Grissom back!!!

they have written too many characters out without developing the others, leaving the show out of touch from the one we came to love, so yes, it is beginning to go downhill

I think they are going downhill. Considering, they basically focused the 200th episode on freakin' Langston....and basically every episode since he's joined. It's really annoying. They are also having too many cast members leaving...Warrick, Sara, and Grisson...within two seasons.
