The sounds of little bells fill the air along with the cracks and pops of a small fire as the last of the sun's light vanished from the sky. There was no music, no crowds, but this was how Nadya liked it best. Dancing beneath the heavens with nothing but the music in her head and the small bells on her feet to guide her. Her green dress flared as she twirled, nearly threatening to catch fire but never getting close enough to quite do so. She wore little jewelry beyond the ankle bells, a few simple bracelets and gold earrings, but each caught the fire's light, shining and adding a bit of an etheral feel to the whole spectacle. Eventually, though, she grew tired and let her body fall into a sitting position, feet tucked under her. Picking up a nearby stick, she poked at the fire and began to make herself a dinner of rabbit she'd caught in a snare earlier that afternoon.
Most would question why a young gypsy was out here alone, but the truth was that she hoped to one day meet a Gargoyle that she'd heard so many stories about. Could they be as evil as some declared? She had a feeling they were much like humans, misunderstood and therefore feared as all things tend to be by those who do not wish to understand them. Maybe she'd get lucky tonight...?

The stone came to life ever so suddenly in the cliffs once the last ray disappeared. Desmond roared before he stretched his arms and wings as wide as they would go. Ah, a new night. Ever so excited about life, the agile gargoyle ran to the edge of the cliff and jumped off while his brethren were still half dazed from awakening. His wings caught onto the wind as he glide gracefully towards the forest.
Landing heavily upon the grasses, he took in a deep breath and relaxed, his cape billowing about him still as his wings came down to wrapped themselves upon his form. He wonder what new thing he would see, or perhaps he will meet a human? He found it quiet funny, as his red coloring and horns seemed to depict some type of malignant spirit humans feared. Some demon or devil. While he took just a little pleasure in scaring them, he found it ever so funny when they realize he wasn't as bad as he looked. Those few that did, seemed to be unlike most humans who just feared him for being different. For just being a gargoyle. He like those type of humans, the ones that were just as curious of him as he was of them.

At the crack of dusk, Liam burst free from the stone skin that enveloped him in his sleep. With a grin, he stretched out his limbs and looked around at his steadily darkening surroundings. He felt rather refreshed, and he was ready to take on the night and whatever it would bring him today. As he stood there, the gargoyle began to feel more and more energized, causing him to throw a few punches into the air as a quick way to burn off some of the welling energy within him. Then, after throwing one last quick punch, he leaped off of his stone perch, spreading his wings to start gliding down. Liam took in a deep breath of the fresh night air, before gazing down at the grounds below. Not too far away, he saw one of his own kind also making his way from the cliffs and towards the forest. He also noted a warm glow coming from somewhere below the trees. A fire it seemed to be. Unsure what the exact reason for the fire or what had started it, he angled his wings to dive towards the light without another thought.

Nadya's first indication she was not alone, was looking up and seeing something siloutted in the new moon's glow, and she watched it pass with an entranced stare. Once it was gone, or at least it seemed to be, she felt a shiver of excitment run through her. Gargoyles! ....or at least one gargoyle, but still one couldn't be picky. Besides, if they were as bad as some people claimed, it would only take one to kill her anyways.
Turning back to her meal, she turned the stick she'd speared the pieces of meat with and checked to see how much longer it would take to cook. As it's scent permated the air and caused her mouth the water in anticipation, she wondered if gargoyles ever cooked their food, or if they ate it raw. Movement caught her eye once more and she looked in time to see a yellow gargoyle gliding towards her from another direction than the first. Keeping a wary eye on it, she couldn't help but smile and think that her wish had come true. "Hello..."

Blue eyes came to life as they spotted a fire, how strange. He began walking towards it as quietly as possible. Once he was close enough, to make most of the human's features, he stopped, staying out of the light of the fire and out of her sight. Hmmmm...What was a human doing alone about this place? There wasn't even a dog in sight.
His tail moved behind him like a lazy snake as he tried to figure the human's goal. He sniffed the air, tilting his head at the scent of the food. Not making up his mind on her cooking skills, he tried to decided whenever or not to walk forward into the light. In the end, his curiosity won out and he stepped slowly into her campsite.

Spotting a red gargoyle come into view as he descended, Liam was even more curious as to what was going on with this fire now. And with a thud, he planted his feet into the dirt as he came and landed nearby. Now that he was closer, he could tell a little more about the human that was in the area, along with the other male.
He knew not of what was going on here, but it looked like the fire wasn't going to be a problem. Taking several steps forward, towards the others, he took in a deep breath to smell the rabbit that currently roasted in the flames.
"Hello!" he said with a smile and wave, "Quite a tasty smelling meal you have cooking there!"
As he looked at it, he realized he never really looked much into culinary skills. But it certainly wouldn't hurt to pick up on a new thing to excel at. It couldn't be too hard anyway.

One of the last to wake, the stone cracked along the the crouched fierce looking female, her eyes glowing bright red as she let out a roar, straightening up as shimmering leathery purple wings stretched out in the dying light. The roar became a mighty yawn and lean muscled arms stretched up to the dark sky. Purple eyes opened and Iria glanced around at the emptying cliff, her brethren leaping off into the sky to hunt and explore. Soft cocoa brown hands smoothed her tied back purple hair and ran down the two leather tied strands over both of her shoulders.
"Hnn." She groaned softly and wrapped her wings over her shoulders, stepping slowly to the edge of the cliff and crouching, looking out as she wondered what she should do tonight. She had absorbed enough sunlight that she felt energized, but was hungry for something...bloody. Fanning her wings out, she dropped and glided down over the dark grounds, tail swaying out behind her, balancing as her wings made the tiniest of shifts to direct her flight.
"Now what is that?" She mused, seeing the glow of the firelight in the distance. Her keen eyesight also picked up the shape of someone sitting by the fire...and another approaching. A gargoyle?

Nadya was more than a little pleased when a red male made his appearance. Sure she was frightened a little, as anyone with common sense should be around anyone who could crush you with one of their claws, but her curiosity about the race won out. However, she was a bit confused as to how one should greet such powerful and wonderous creatures as this one seemed to be, but she relaxed slightly as the yellow gargoyle greeted her first.
Giving them an apologetic smile, she said, "I'm sorry that my fire and meal are but small and humble, but I would be glad to share it with you." She swept her arm around, inviting them to sit with her if they so desired. She took a moment to study them in the fire's light as it played about their bodies and gave them a bit of an etheral feel. The yellow one, but for his small horns and bright skin color (not to mention his wings), would almost pass for a human, whereas the red one could never be mistaken for anything than what he was. She could see why some people would call gargoyles 'demons' and creatures of hell. Though she was curious, she was careful to keep the fire between them and her, at least till she knew for sure what they were like, and had yet to see the approach of the female.

Iria landed in the darkness, crouching and staring curiously at the two gargoyles and the human. She was well hidden as she moved behind a tree to watch, her wings settling on her shoulders. Her pointed ears strained to hear everything that was being said. Just simple chatter... She debated on whether or not to reveal herself and approach...

Shaking his head, Liam rose a hand and grinned to reject the offer. The rabbit wouldn't be enough to share with others really, besides, he figured he'd probably get something to eat a little later on for himself. Not to mention he'd be able to experiment some.
"Thanks, but you can keep your meal for yourself," he said.
Then, glancing up, he looked over at the other male gargoyle, giving a slight nod as a greeting. As of now, he hadn't noticed the female lurking within the shadows either, as his attention were on those right before him.

Desmond incline his head towards the other male before looking at the female woman once a more. He gave a small smile and chuckle. "Thank you, but I am sure we will find something to eat later in this night." He said with a gentle voice before he came closer to the fire and sat down.
"May I ask what you call yourself?" One of his ears twitch, but it seemed to be just a tick, he ignore any sound the female gargoyle could had made, writing off as being harmless.

Nadya relaxed more as the greetings were exchanged and was satisfied the males meant her no harm. She could be a bit too trusting at times, but the fact of the matter was she often had a sixth sense about others, whether or not they were worth her letting down her guards or not, and she got no warning bells from the males at all. Poking at her fire to shift the wood slightly and sending some sparks into the air, she finally answered, "Nadya. My name is Nadya....I am a gypsy, and have traveled these lands my whole life. I have heard many stories about your kind. I...am glad to share my fire and have the chance to meet your for myself."
She looked up at them both, studying their reactions. It would be obvious that much of what she heard would be bad, as people tended to embellish the truth of something they didn't understand. However, beyond the normal fear that one of her kind felt in the presence of another mighty and strong, it was the curiosity that burned in her gaze. To be honest, she felt like a child, and was unsure of what to say that didn't make her sound somewhat foolish.

The hiding female saw the other male sitting down now, and frowned. Curiosity began to eat at her, but there was also a strange coil of annoyance at these males. Why would they just go up to some human? For all they knew, it could have been a trap, set up by hunters who wanted to see if there was a gargoyle clan in the area.
Lips set in a tight line, she straightened and walked forward, making enough noise so that they would hear her foot steps before she could be visible in the ring of fire light. "And what is this little get together?" She asked, a bit snootily, crossing her arms over her chest with a severe frown, wings still resting lightly on her shoulders.

The male looked back and forth between the human and the other gargoyle before grinning widely and nodding.
"I am Liam," he said in a rather confident tone, "And it is a pleasure to meet you Nadya. I have to say I haven't met a gypsy before. What sort of stories have you heard?"
After stretching out his wings a bit, he clasped them over his shoulders to cloak himself some. Just after doing so, he noticed a female gargoyle step into the fire's light. Though, she certainly didn't seem all too pleased with their presence, considering the way she spoke.
"Just a result of curiosity. Isn't that what brought you here as well?"

"Nadya..." He lightly repeated, as if trying it out before giving the gypsy a light smile. "I be Desmond." He introduce himself after the other male.
Tilting his head slightly, he looked behind himself at the female with a raised brow at her tone. "As Liam said, curiosity." And then with a smirk painted on his features he said. "Why don't you join us?" He patted the ground next to him.
