I completely forgot about gaia one day... I just remembered I haven't been here in forever D:
I went to a Deviant Art chat room for metal lovers and they were all idiots...and then I remembered discussing/learning about metal here on gaia with intellectuals and true metal-heads at METAL REIGN.
How goes it? Does anybody know why they moved Pagan fest to the fall/if they are still visiting the same theatres?
I was given a Gibson Les Paul Custom Black Beauty from the 70s, and I'm trying to sell it now. I'm going to the guitar store to see if I can trade it in for a BC Rich Jr. V and some pedals and what not biggrin I need the hell-spawned emg 81/85 pickups -.-, getting tired of my jackson with duncans

They didn't move Paganfest to the Fall. It's still in the spring. Late april to early May, just like last year.

I checked the site for the schedule and didn't see any dates posted, so I researched it a bit and I skimmed an article saying it was going to be fall 2009 for some odd reason. Well GOOD I'm glad, maybe I'll be able to see it in NYC

Digital Malevolence Don't buy a B.C Rich, those are horrible. At first I was going to get a Jackson V USA series, that 2,000 dollar one. But I decided that I'd rather save some cash, and be able to get some line 6 recording things. I moved to the Jackson Kelly, but then decided to go Rhoads. I played a rhoads and didn't like how one side was a lot smaller, so I thought about the ESP alexi laiho signature...but then I realized I really don't want a guitar with COBHC on the back razz , and I would also like to have a neck pickup. I went looking for some Vs and I decided on the BC rich. They have new models than the 90s and early 2000s models. I played some BC riches before and I hated them, but everyone seems to like this one that I'm planning on getting. I mean, it has EMGs, 81/85 setup, made with good wood, they remade the neck and a lot of people told me it was smoth and easy to sweep. Also, I don't want another Jackson. I have a dinky, and I want to get something from a different company. Since I only want to spend 800 or so $, I don't want an ESP, becuase they are all pretty horrid in my opinion unless you get a custom or spend 2000 + dollars on an artist's model. I looked into Dean guitars, and from what I heard, they all play and sound muddy. Nothing seems to be negative about this rich, so I think I'm still going to go ahead an get it. They also aren't as heavy, so I heard -.- EDIT: I also can't stand gibsons or ibanez. All of them that I played just didn't comply with me. I mean, I'm selling a 77 les paul custom. That's the epitome of Gibson pretty much, and I just don't like playing it. If I were to get a fender, I'd get a jackson, and I don't really want a Jackon V because the back of the neck gets really fat around the 14/15th fret.

Their new line(s) are cheaper, actually biggrin The price dropped a couple hundred in a lot of the models, and the Vs are just brutally awesome, and sound great from what I hear.

The Warbeast. I've played B.C. Rich guitars before and I really liked 'em. The only thing i'm concerend about is the pickups. I wanna hear this guitar with the pickups it comes with and then EMGs, cause if it's worth it i'm gonna get some EMGs for it.

But pretty much what they did was release the King Vs and his signature models, aswell as that new Beast V or whatever. They upped their crummy pickups, and a lot of their models now just come with EMGS instead of those bc rich pickups. They have some new neck design you can read about on their site.
