We all know that Scar has his brothers right arm, but what I'm currious to know is, "How did Scar get his brothers arm?"
Did he see his dead brother and say
"Your dead brother, and for that I'm sorry, but I'm missing my arm so I'm going to take yours"
or did his brother sew it on him,
or did the arm attach itself to Scar?
*picturse severed arm chassing Scar around the desert*
and another question unrelated to the topic is,
What is Ed's rank in the army? anyone know?
Also everyone in the army wears the uniform but Edward, why is that. Could they not find a small enough uniform for him

Well to answer your question I think might be a spoiler so uh >.> His brother's arm has the philosopher's stone in it, so his brother gave up his arm to Scar when Scar's arm exploded off him (by the crimson alchemist). His brother died afterwards. All the people of Ishbal is in the arm, is what the brother tells him..so the blood of his people is circulating inside Scar. <--highlight at your own risk..
And Ed is a major. I forgot where I saw that, but a State Alchemist has the rank of a major when they start off.
And the uniform thing. Well I will guess it's because he is a child and it would look bad to the military if they were recruiting kids. So he is like a full time spy. I doubt it's because he is too small because they probably have their uniforms specially made.

I have a question, does anyone know if Scar has a real name because Scar is the name given to him by the military... eek

Scar does have a real name, but in the anime he says that when he abandon the teaching of Ishbala (sp?) he gave up everything, including his name. So his "real" name now is Scar.
The manga, he doesn't talk about it at all..he avoids the question altogether.

He says he abandoned his name because of what he does, so he doesn't have a name.
