Since giving birth, Naya had found it particularly difficult to do much else but lie around and watch her cubs wander about (within boundaries, of course) and explore the world around them. It'd been a particularly awkward time between her and Maji, but the male had been there for her despite the situation. Since giving birth the usually quirky cheetah had been rather lacking in energy, so she talked much less than usual. A comment here, a comforting word there, but not much else. On occasion one of the little ones would ask a question, and she would happily answer; anything beyond that and she said little to nothing.
What replaced her usual talkative attitude was lots of...thinking. Thinking about whether or not she'd be able to raise them well; whether or not they'd meet their real father; whether or not she could be a good mother to them; and, the most prevalent worry at the moment, whether or not Maji would accept them, and vice versa. To her it almost felt like she was trying to fit two pieces together in her life that...just weren't meant to fit.
Still, despite all the worry, she tried her best to keep her spirits up. After all, new cubs were usually something to celebrate..right? Uziwa'Fuo - cub extraordinaire! Ah...sort of. A little...maybe? Okay, not really. Still, for one so young and new to the world, it was one heck of a feat to tangle one's self in a mass of seaweed as well as he did! He thought so, anyway, and with a proud smile on his innocent little face he meandered on back to his mother and took a seat.
"Hey mom, check it out! I found all this seaweed, and I tried to untangle it and set it free back into the ocean. I know you said to stay away from the water, but I didn't get near it. I swear! Anyway, so I tried to untangle it, and so I thought it'd be a lot easier if i went inside of the seaweed so I could see where they were tangled. I lifted one of them up...and then I went in a few circles and tried to find the exit but I couldn't so I...."
He didn't finish his sentence, as he'd run out of breath. The smile on his face didn't falter, though, and after a few seconds of catching his breath he started again..
"Tried to chew my way through but it was all gross and salty so I stopped. The stuff makes a cool coat, don't you think?" Zi stood and made a little circle, to show how well-covered he was, then took a seat again, his smile widening a bit.

A pair of greenish paws tried to catch a small butterfly that passed by the creature. Maranwe was not happy at all she tried to get better at catching those butterflies but they where just to tricky for her. But she had no idea that butterflies was so sensitive and they might die if you hurt there tender wings. If she knew that she might try to find new victims to practice on.
The little leotah girl was not cruel she just wanted to be good. And if you didn't practice you couldn't get good.
The green coated girl was quite big for her age she was just a cub but she had grown a lot since the day she was born. Her body reminded more of a leopard then a cheetah maybe her father was the reason for that.
" Hmmf one day i be able to catch you...you stupid flying creature "
The cub mutterd and decided to go back to her mother instead..

Zakura sat down in the sand, green eyes watching his brother and sister play. Part of him was excited at the idea of running over to play with his siblings, but the other part was more focused on other things. Like his mother. Despite not having known his mother for very long, Zaku could sense something off in his mom. The cub in him wanted to jump on her and play, but he resisted, somehow feeling it best to leave her be. Maybe he'd talk to her about whatever was bugging her later, if she wanted to.
The cub yawned, tail twitching sleepily. The mood might've been lifted if there were girls around...Girls that weren't related to him.
And matters would've been much better for the cub if he was farther away from the ocean. The ocean only brought him grief. But no, he knew he had to remain pretty close to that wide pool of blue. Not that close...But close enough.
Sighing, the leotah lied down in the sand and rested his head on his paws, suddenly feeling dejected. He busied himself by watching his sister chase butterflies.

Kamaria was quite small, but a bundle of energy all the same. Bright teal colored eyes shone with mischeif and wonder, as she crouched in the weeds, and observed 'Fuo, covered in seaweed. Her ears then caught the sound of her sister Maranwe, an so her little head rose above the weeds, and crained to see what she was after. The butterfly made her eyes gleam with even more glee, as it fluttered past her -- a girly giggle follwed.
Kamaria was, obviously, a happy little half-pint. She found joy in her family, and the simple little things. She could make a mountain out of a mole-hill -- in a good way of course. An optomist at heart -- even gray skies and rain didn't dampen her day.
