It had been a very long time since Sev had shown up at the Unit. She barely remembered the last time, to be honest. It wasn't a surprise really -- she had a hard time remembering much of her time on Gaia. With the random hallucinations that invaded much of her early life on the planet, it was hard to remember what had happened and when it had occurred.
But now that she had more control over things, she found it easier to recall people and places, and she thought it was about time she visited her 'comrades.' Perhaps now there were more of them to meet.
Walking up to the door, she knocked, not really knowing if she should just walk inside or not.

Iamel wasn't quite sure how he had ended up there. Kian was usually the one to bring DDR to the Unit but, lately, Kian had been gone. He had locked himself up for a while and, then, whoosh, nothing. For his own part, Iamel was a little worried, but Patrick had assured him (and the other kids that were, indeed, worried about the grumpy alien) that he was fine but needed to 'get out'.
Those finger quotations had been all Patrick too. The snarky man had a way with words.
Either way, he ended up with a small kid wandering around on the freaking day where nothing else was happened: Gaetan was off, busy, and DDR's tutor was off for the day. It meant Iamel sat, cross legged, on the ground of the Unit with his toddler nearby.
"Want this," The girl said, one of her four skinny fingers pointing to the magazine at hand. "And this, and--"
She cut herself off when someone started knocking at the door. Iamel leaned back on his hands, head tilting to the side so he could call out.
"Yeah, yeah, come inside. S'unlocked and all that good stuff."
"Kian has knife," DDR informed him with a small frown of disapproval.
"I ain't Kian, kiddlet, and there's someone at the door."

Hearing voices from inside, Sev opened the door somewhat cautiously, not knowing who to expect to see.
"Uh, hey," she said, giving the pair a slight wave as she tried to recall if she'd ever met these two. A couple of rogue dreadlocks waved as well, wanting to extend their own greetings. "This is still the Unit, right?" she asked, walking inside and closing the door behind her, careful not to get her much larger wings caught in the door. They had become a bit more difficult to manage now that she'd gotten bigger.
"I'm Sev," she introduced herself, grin widening. "I'm uh... a criminal. Or I used to be -- something like that." She paused, examining each of them in turn, wondering if they were both aliens, or if the older guy was just the little girl's guardian. She was exotic looking, and her scales and tattoos appealed to Sev's aesthetic. "I like your tattoos," she said, smiling at the little girl. "Your scales are cool too."
