I was just wondering who was planning to do any cosplays at conventions (anime or otherwise). I would really like to make a Blind Mag cosplay, since on the Repo! board, someone linked to a website that sells contacts that look like her eyes. biggrin I think her clothing, maybe when she visits Shiloh ("Chase the Morning") would be easiest to piece together. I have no idea how'd I do the feather eyelashes she has during her performance of "Chromaggia," though. Those look really uncomfortable (ouch!). The dress is manageable; I would just buy a lot of feathers from Michael's or another art store and tailor the dress. 3nodding
I'd also love to do a Luigi cosplay, but I'd have to get a wig and make myself look manly. I've actually never cosplayed a man before; most of my female friends who cosplay have been boys or men before. xD
So, does anyone else have any cosplay plans? A group cosplay would be awesome, I think. I just don't know who could play (or who would want to play) Rotti, though.
Any suggestions would be lovely, by the way. ;D

I'm going to AnimeIowa as Graverobber ^_^ I posted on their forums about Repo! to try and recruit some new fans, but it didn't get a single reply. Regardless of that though, I've decided to do it anyway XD I'll probably get a lot of "who are you supposed to be?" haha

I want to try for the anime con out here in CO but trying to figure out how to get a good repo costume together. I have an idea about the helmet but I have no idea where to get the coat and gloves. I also was thinking of doing graverobber, some of his costume is so unique that I'm not sure how to do it.

@ Mordrid: I'm actually planning to make a Repo Man costume myself, now that I think about it. whee I'm planning to go to a bunch of thrift shops and piece things together. I have friends who can help me sew as well, because I can't sew for my life.
@ Pneumonia and Nyx: Oh cool! Take pictures! biggrin

I plan on making a Blind Mag costume, and then am going to help my friend with her Shilo costume, and we are going to wear them to Sac Anime in August.

SnowWtch Anyone cosplaying for Megacon? Somehow I think there's going to be a few Graverobbers at least. You're going to MegaCon? The Florida Army is planning to try to do a table or something there right now, maybe play the trailer or something. If you have AIM and want to help out with promoting Repo we'd love to have you join us. We're having another meeting at 8 on Thursday.

Phantomess: That sounds awesome; let us know how it goes.
I've been playing with going as a GENtern to DragonCon (it's the only con I go to). I know it's simple, but I'm planning on focusing more on my Captain Jack from Torchwood.
I would love to go as bruised Amber, or as Pavi. Or Shilo...

@ Lady Dark: Ah, thank you! I'll have join.
@ [Swift]: You're part of the FL Army? I go to college in GA but I hail from FL. It's cool you all are doing a panel or something. Is your army based in Orlando? I can't remember. -_-;

I can't remember. -_-; I live in Georgia but I'm way closer to Florida, so it's easier for me to help out the Florida Army. Plus I know Kris and Matt better than the Atlanta folks. (Love them though!)
Most of the Army members live in the Orlando area but it's not required.

@ Swift: I'm in Gainesville and unfortunately this is going to be a quick trip so my husband and I only have time to run through things once on Saturday before I have to be off. However, if you all do have a table post the info and I'll try to stop by.
