hello, As he title says I have a question. How do you draw realistic eyes? I can't even get them to look even remotely correct. Any tips?
I'll post some of my eye drawings later...ave to draw them XD

Posting them will be helpful, so I'll be sure to see if I can help again after you do that.
I think my best advice would to be just... look at eyes, in photographs, close up, far away, and just draw them. There should also be some tutorials out there.

I learned how to draw the outside first before drawing the pupil, but it looks like it should still work smile

ah, thank you! this site might help a lot. It's completely different from how i end up drawing them. mostly I'm only good at drawing face shape.

Here's one site: [x] You can find plenty of tutorials just by googling it. Or even better, buy or check out a how-to-draw book from a library.
If you're coming from drawing cartoons/anime, remember to make the eyes proportional to the face. I was criticized by one of my art teachers for making them too big or for angling them strangely.
