I prefer the anime, nothing beat sound, color and movement for me.

What's a light novel?
I love novels!! And I love animes/mangas! They are all a tie to me.
Anime/Manga--love them cos they are JAPAN-made and sweet stories and drawings and colors! 3nodding
Novels--I like reading so much!

I try to read the manga first..I like the art. But if I already watched the anime of it, then i don't usually don't go back to read the manga...
novel... Hm... xD I like them too, but not so much as anime or manga.... I NEED PICTURES!! Dx..lol..jkz

I like to watch the anime first and if I'm waiting for the next episode to come I would start reading the manga around the sane place where the anime is. I do this sometimes to know what will happen next but mostly the manga is different from the anime.

If I start with the anime I usually stick with it, especially if I hear the story is different from the manga. With light novels, if they don't have pictures, I'll get bored.
I know that's kind of sad.

Anime's Original Novels to End on March 10 A fold-out flyer from ASCII MediaWorks' Dengeki imprint has announced that the 10th volume of Yuyuko Takemiya's Toradora! light novels will be the final volume when it ships on March 10. This "superdreadnought of love comedies" inspired J.C. Staff's ongoing television anime series and Zekkyō's manga version in Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh magazine. The story revolves around Ryūji Takasu, a high school sophomore who is ostracized because his angry-looking eyes make him look a troublemaker, and Taiga Aisaka, a tiny but ferocious girl who is also shunned — even by her own family — as the "Handheld Tiger."
The flyer also announced that Ryohgo Narita's Dhurara!! light novels is being adapted into manga in the May issue of Square Enix's G Fantasy magazine on April 18. Suzuhito Yasuda drew the original novel illustrations for this "warped adolescent fantasy romance" story set in a rowdy version of Tokyo's Ikebukuro neighborhood. The Moon Phase Comments web diary notes that the drrr.jp domain name has been registered by Aniplex, Sony's animation production company. Aniplex had produced a television animated version of Narita's Baccano! light novels. This is all from animenation.net

I didn't even know it was a light novel and a manga. Well, I'll prolly watch the anime and, when it's finished, then read the light novels. I wouldn't think the manga would have much more to offer than the anime, but novels, light or not, always have more intimate detail. biggrin

Yeah, I was always waiting for when they used to work in the beginning instrumentals with the last moments of the episode. I kind'a got used to it. sweatdrop
