Ok first off, I live in a dorm on campus with a roomate that is a complete butthole and annoying as hell. He is 19 and already an alcoholic. He drinks every night and then passes out on his bed. So heres why I'm really pissed. Theres a kid in another dorm who has a fricken boa constrictor in his room and no one cares. So i went out and bought a hamster to keep me company int his hell hole and I have had it for about 24 hours now. Everyone saw me bring it in and no one cared. However, being the butthole my roomate is he decides to tell the RA of the dorm (resident advisor) that they are against the rules and I shouldn't have them. So now the Ra is supposed to come talk to me about it. Now my hamsters have been checked and tested and have no diseases and are perfectly healthy. Now heres the kicker, my underage roomate drinks non stop and if anyone knew it he would be kicked out of college. But I have never mentioned it to anyone here. So I have decided to make an argreement with myself. If the RA decides to come by and get onto me for my hamsters because of what my roomate said, then I shall just show him the 12 pack of beer my roomate keeps stashed in his fridge.

A wise man once said 'one should never throw stones at someone who has a grenade'. Well, he didn't, but I'm sure he thought of it.
It sounds like you'd be in the right to me. Just make sure you're calm and cool if/when you do it, so it doesn't seem so retaliatory.

Just make sure you're calm and cool if/when you do it, so it doesn't seem so retaliatory. I don't think I've ever seen tazman not calm and cool. He's pretty good in an argument, he doesn't loose his cool unless it is with me because I just do that to him. I agree you should tell the RA about the alcohol, personally I think you should of mentioned it earlier but then you would of been the 'tattle tale' or whatnot. Your roommate should of thought that one through a little better....then again....this is your roommate we're talking about. Though I don't think it's very like you to turn in the guy with the boa, you're not that vengeful at least towards people who haven't directly done anything to you.

His roommate is bigger than he is, I don't know about strength though, his roomate works out but he still weighs less.....it would be an interesting fight, both would probably end up baddly hurt. cry

If your roomy is going to try to get you in trouble for the hamster then definatley get him in trouble for drinking. Just tell the RA if you cant keep your pet then you want a room mate who isnt a drunk... that should get him trouble and you a new room mate who hopefully isnt a drunken a*****e.

Then make shure he is in a public place let the guy take a hit but dont hit back. Then its jst a normal case of assault. He attacked you. You get him kicked out of school and get him arrested. It will work if you do it right. And the overall pleasure from getting him back like that would be more than jst turning him in for booze. but thats jst one way....you could do some other things...i would have to think to make them really good and actually work.
