Anklina isn't really shy, more like she doesn't like to speak to new people. She'd much rather be alone, then spend her times trying to get close to them. Threw past events in her life she doesn't trust men all that well, nor does she trust females either. However with poke'mon it's diffrent. She can open up to them seemingly right away. If you manage to gain her trust she'll treat you like anyother person, however with abit more respect. She'll talk to you, or even give her advice.
Anklina loves to sing, and cook. Catch her alone, and she'll most likely be singing to her poke'mon. She also loved to draw in her spare time, asspiring to be a poke'mon artist. Along with her dream of being a powerful trainer.

Anklina was born late, which lead to complications most of her life. Her parents were not that wealthy so they couldn't afford for the girl to travel to Jubilife city to live with her grandmother until she was nearly eight years of age, and well enough to travel. Once in Jubilife her health improved greatly. She even started to travel on her own between Jubilife, and Canalave city. At the age of nine she started attending the Jubilife school, and graduated at ten, however her plans of starting a journey with a new poke'mon wasn't to start.
Her mother, and father died in a freak fire up in Snowpoint, and Anklina's grandmother went to live up there to take care of their cottage. Anklina had to come with having no other relatives in Jubilife. Anklina grew up there until she was seventeen, Anklina kept asking her grandmother to allow her to start her poke'mon journey, but everytime she was turned away from it.
However this didn't stop Anklina from begging her grandmother to let her start her journey, and even though it was just abit to late to start with a basic starter poke'mon from Professer Rowan, she was finally able to register, and start her journey. Anklina made her way quickly to Sandgem village to recieve her very first poke'mon.
