I saw in another thread many comment saying that an RP with a school full of amazingly diverse races was a good idea i mean like from human, to werewolf, to demon, to whatever you want.
I personally love the idea but before me or anyone else starts it id like thoughts or opinoins so please bring it on

I made a role play like that, but it's a bit different. It's called Academy of Hybrids. Take a look at it and tell me what you think.

If they come out of nowhere, with no purpose to be together, than it doesn't make sense. Like I said in that thread, even mixing two races creates tension. 'Especially prey and predator. Like housing lions with the zebras. Realistic, you can't expect the lions to go against their nature and behave. Such as the vampire shouldn't stop seeing the human as food.

Though I'm also thinking from a writer's perspective and apparently that doesn't apply in roleplays anymore. -insert frustrated sigh-

It's possible, dear. Don't kids nowadays break into fights in school? The fact it's a school doesn't stop a lot.
I tried a Vamp/Human school thing and I had kind of like bodyguards who watched everything. Though one guy got turned, anyway. Can't watch everything.
No. Not everyone will. Even with what I just said, I have two Vamps who are more accepting of humans. There is actually a human in that story I can see them being a little protective of since he's the only one in a village population of Vamps. x3 And he's scared shitless. But even with that, they're still Vamps. They're instinct tells them to eat people. Poor Cal would need a bodyguard when feeding time rolls around for the younger ones with less control. Which I like...-mental note-
I was speaking more about those instincts than personalities. My Vince wouldn't hurt a fly. Human or Vamp. Until he gets hungry. Unlike the Antoinette I quoted.
If you have a reason for them all to be together and a reason to stop them causing havoc...sure. Roleplays should make sense and not be randomly thrown together.
Vampire Knight's vampires held off from eating the humans because of a pureblood with them. Pures are like royalty. One even said, if it wasn't for him being there, they wouldn't be so calm.
I kind of like the idea of a bunch of schools on one grounds. You can't possible teach each race the same thing. o_o Young vampires would need to be taught about how to survive as one. And it'd keep the chaos down to a min.

Well, it's true that some people wouldn't get along, but wouldn't it be a boring rp if there was no conflict? seriously, everything can't be all happy with no conflict or fights.. that' my openion..
I think it would also be a good idea to limit it to around 3-6 "species" that can attend the school, cause it would be kinda difficalt to make a 'good' story if rarely anyone chose the same race.. i think.

But also schools have minorities and larger groups mixed together so wouldnt it be a bit more realistic to have several people as one race and some a different?

yeah, but you don't see just one "goth" or one "skater". It's fine to have minorities, it happens naturally.. now that i think about it, my main character is a demon puppetress. i don't know a lot of people who use puppet-like characters.. lol. i don't know. it's your rp.
if the rp happens, i think the school should be a huge mansion located out in the middle of a forest that no one can find. and you have to be 'invited' to attend because their interested in your "powers".. lol 3nodding
