Name Rupert Paulson
Deity of Pastries
Talents Baking pastries, designing aprons, skilled air clarinet player, good at telling when people are and are not wearing plaid.
Likes Baking, pastries, clean kitchens, aprons, plaid, clarinets, bagpipes, nifty designs, sugar, colourful things, Daddy.
Dislikes Ruined baking, people who buy pastries and say they're homemade, a messy kitchen, people spitting out pastries, vegans, bands not wearing plaid/playing bagpipes, QUICHE, criminals.
Personality Rupert is a lad who takes few things in life seriously.
Except baking. Baking is SERIOUS STUFF. If your pastries are burnt, he'll have to go into another room to collect himself. He can't stand the smell of artificial flavouring. And don't even get him started on maraschino cherries. He becomes ecstatic when he makes a good pastry and is happiest elbow-deep in a sack of flour. He enjoys making smiley faces on his food, so long as it doesn't detract from the taste, and has been sent to his room more than once because Paul Paulson opened up his lunchbox to find his muffin was winking.
The one pastry Rupert won't bake is quiche, and whenever people ask him about it, he gets sulky and won't talk.
When not baking, Rupert enjoys talking about baking, cleaning his workspace, designing soft drink bottles, sewing new aprons, and playing the air clarinet. He likes bagpipes, but he doesn't like any other kind of music unless the band playing the music is wearing plaid. (He can tell. He can ALWAYS tell.) He cannot cook anything other than pastries, to Paul's great annoyance.
