Ancient Relics- Many ancient ruins have already been squandered of relics, but there are many islands and many areas throughout Nuva-Ocea that are unexplored and may contain potential ruins. Many ruins run deep underground and every known ruin is blocked on one level or another making further exploration impossible. In most cases there are metal doors that blend with the walls that won’t open. There are different categories of relics as well.

Class D-relics- D-relics are damaged relics. In many cases, a damaged relic can still be studied for its properties. They pay low, and are very common since the upper floors of most ruins are heavily damaged.
Class B-relics- B-relics appear to be in some sort of working order. Most of them are small devices whose purposes are unknown at this time.
Class A-relics- The rarest of relics, they are usually found in larger ruins that have less damaged rooms. Most upper floors of the ruins are too damaged to salvage anything from, and in some it’s near impossible to reach the lower levels. A-relics are anything that is in full working order and much can be learned from them through disassembling them.
Canister relics- Canister relics range in size and some may still work depending on their condition. Most Canister relics are empty, thus useless and worth almost nothing, but if you find one that contains anything, its worth much more.
Large relics- Large relics are one of the more rare kinds. They are larger than B-Rel’s and some may even be composed of smaller relics. Some have been known to spark at random times and seem to still have function.
A valuable and hard to obtain object in Ishtmal due to the ferocity of the creature it comes from. Taimar tails can be sold for a nice sum in Arkson.
Messon Meat- Almost any rich or royal family will pay a good price to anyone that can provide quality Messon mean to them. It is the rarest of eatable delicacies in Ishtmal.
Messon Fur- Another item that can be sold to rich families for a nice sum. No wild Messon reside in the human territory any more, so finding longer length fur is even more of a payoff then those the Druids sell from the old Messons that die from age. The thicker forests are much warmer than the colder human territory, so the Messon grow naturally shorter hair.
Maltir Shell- Due to its unique strength and flexibility, Maltir shells make good weapons and armor. When a maltir dies, it’s inside rots out while its shell stays perfectly intact. Killing a Maltir can result in arrest by the Royal Guard, and a large insect infestation due to the blood’s rancid smell. Though since Maltir live for a nice length of time it’s considered a rare material. People have tried to gouge out pieces of Maltir Shell without killing it, but it’s proved hard due to the un-even thickness of the shell, and it becomes a hassle to try and not penetrate through the shells, and plus the best weapons and armors are made from complete shells.
Desert Crystal- A rare artifact to come by because not many people venture into the Talm Desert. Desert crystals usually come through trade from the Minnemir, to the Myr-Val and Kal-Dra, to the humans. Black crystals are the rarest, while pink crystals are the most common. So far, known colors
(In order of Rarity) are Pink, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Black.
