GCW returned from commercials to a bustling arena, full of GCW fans.
However, they all went silent as trumpets blared around the arena...
Something's tearing me down and down
And I can't but feel it's coming from you
She's a gunshot bride, With a trigger cries
I just wonder what we've gotten our selves into...
The arena was then plunged into darkness and green spotlights turned on around the arena, randomly turning, seemingly looking for something or someone. Strobe lighting flickered around the arena..
In a trail of fire I know we will be free again
In the end we will be one
In a trail of fire I burn before you bury me
Set your sights for the sun
The crowd gave mixed cheers as the ring turnbuckles shot off a series of green pyro's, each one nearly reaching the arena roof..
Mind is willing, Soul remains
This woman cannot be saved
From the drawn into the fire
Mind is willing, Soul remains
This woman cannot be saved
From the drawn into the fire
Anything to bring it on home
Bring it on home
Bring it on home
Bring it on home
The music then died down as the lights continued to flicker. The crowd tried to guess what was happening, creating a low amount of noise, with some loud shouts from the more obnoxious fans.
The green spotlights then hit the stage, both meeting at the same point, as the crowd averted their attention to what was happening there. The spotlights then started to move slowly down the ramp, where they stopped at the side of the ring.
They were then turned off, leaving the crowd nothing but strobe lighting. As the green spotlights came back to life, they were shone in the center of the ring, illuminating a figure standing there.
The figure raised his fist in the air, as the strobe lighting stopped and the spotlights turned once more off. However, the lights didn't turn on, thus creating more reason for the crowd to make noise.
After a short while in the darkness, the crowd were then 'awoken' by a single green pyro erupting just above the titantron, attracting the attention of the loyal GCW fans.
The titantron flashed a dark green, before four words words emerged on screen:
Nuke Fusion.
The Return.
The lights were kept turned off, as they moved in to a loud cheer, awaiting the return of a modern GCW hero.
Announcer: "I don't know how to exactly explain the atmosphere here, Ladies and Gentlemen. Everyone seems to be on the edge of their seats, taken in by what seems to be the return of 'The Prodigy', Nuke Fusion."
After a long wait in the darkness, with nothing but dim lighting along the stairs, the lights flickered in to life, causing many people to react by holding their hands over their face.
A voice then came over the PA system, speaking loudly and clearly.
"Too long have you lived in the darkness, and now I will show you the light. For I am The Protege, I am The Magnum Opus, I am The Prodigy."
The crowd then looked over at the man in the centre of the ring, wearing a long hooded cloak.
"I am Nuke. Fusion."
As those last words faded away, the figure threw off the cloak, to reveal the man that had made such an impact in GCW, Nuke Fusion.
