Located in the Borough of Queens, New York City, bordering on Flushing Bay and Bowery Bay. It is eight miles from Midtown Manhattan. LaGuardia consists of 72 aircraft gates, so the arrival possibilities are endless. There are 8000 people currently employed at the airport be they food, friend or foe.

The air is always full of the smell of smoke, jet fuel and people. There are many bums and homeless people begging for money or just plain living there where they can. Newspaper stands, glass windows, restrooms and sleep areas litter the entire airport.

Boelinda McCallister steps off of the plane from London onto the ramp leading to the gate that her flight is being received in. This was New York city, The United State of America. She notices right away the taste of buzzing energy around her. This city is quite active with "others". She puts up the shields in her mind that she visualizes. Better to shield than to get sensory overload. Just don't shield to hard Bo, she thinks to herself. Then you won't even sense them coming. She smooths down her coat and skirt feeling for all the hardwood copper bladed knives concealed on her person. Every one of them still in place and comfertably snug against her chest arms and inner thighs. Behind her walks Abner, her hired man-servant and professional butler. He wears a traditional black servant tuxedo with comfortable shoes for the flight. Abner also adjusts his coat making sure that the ceramic pieces of Miss McCallister's weapon are still where they were sewn in. He carries Miss McCallister's carry-on luggage along with his own. Together they look like what the rich are supposed to look like; aloof, disgusted and like everyone around them is beneath them. A good disguise if any, it's an easy part to play. Boelinda turns to Abner and breathes a sigh of utter boredom. Trying to sound like a true debutante she sighs, "Come along Abner, let us try to find suitable logdings in this barbaric country."
"Yes Lady McCallister." he replies.

*He entered the airport casually rather than roam the city streets another night he decided to see more of its features. People hurried form one place to the next without concern if they ran someone else over just as long as they got to their wanted destination. He looke as humans argue and some even bump into him causing him to restrain himself from throttling them then and there. HE came to a small cafe in the airport and took a seat telling the waitress he did not need anything yet. She wore the normal Starbucks uniform and he let his eyes wonder as he legs moved left then right in rythm as she walked away then shook his head and blinked a few times returning to watching the crowd of people going in all directions.*

Red paced impatiently in front of the airplane monitors. His plane should have landed by now, what is taking him so long? She hated it when people were late...

Her phone chirped cheerfully, and she pushed the talk button, but said nothing. A male voice hastily started in on an explanation of turbulence and weather conditions, but she cut him off.

"Where are you?" She listened to the gate number and nodded slowly, even though the person on the other end of the line couldn't see her. "Stay where you are. I'll come to you." She peered at the map of the airport on the wall. The gate wasn't too far away. She started to walk towards the metal detectors, and stopped when she reached the back of the line. Carefully, she assessed the layout.

People were pouring out of the exits to the terminal, eager to leave the confines of the airport. She shifted the heavy duffle bag on her shoulder, waited for a sizeable gap in the crowd, and made her move. Anyone who happened to be watching her might have seen a blur as she streaked through the line of people and past the metal detectors, but considering it was nighttime, and the security guards were probably on their fifth cup of coffee, it wouldn't be hard to explain away.

She slowed down and walked normally towards the gates. No need to draw unnecessary attention. She spotted the man she was looking for, nervous and tweedy. A small suitcase was clutched in his white-knuckled grip. She sat on a bench a good twenty feet away and called his phone.

"Okay, you know how it goes. Set the suitcase down, and I'll be by to pick it up and exchange it with the new one." She saw him quickly glance around, and hurriedly terminated the call and pretended to be busy watching the clock. He must be new at this. He won't last long if he keeps gawking like that, she thought in annoyance.

Out of the corner of her eye, she saw him carefully set the suitcase down beside him and fold his hands in his lap. She stood, holding the duffle loosely in one hand, and started walking with the crowd past where the man sat. When she neared him, she ran.

It wasn't quite running, it was more than that. It wasn't just because it was swifter than the human eye could see. There was a feeling that went deeper than bloodlust, than any physical pleasure. When she moved, she was wind. It was the most exhilirating power trip she knew.

The man didn't see her as she approached, his eyes stared blankly ahead of him as she exchanged bags and disappeared into the crowd. That was good. Her anonymity was one of her most valuable possessions, especially now that she was so far from home. Vulnerable. The word made her want to spit.

She walked through the exits with the other mortals, her mind already elsewhere...

*He rose from his seat and walked out into the open in time to notice the speedy movements of someone obviously not human and began to pursue them in a quiet manenr trying not to draw attention or be noticed as he watched the woman switch cases and then start to leave.*

She felt the hair rise on the back of her neck, but shook it off. She was too paranoid; even if someone was following her, it was unlikely they could follow her for long. Still, she took a quick glance around to see if anything was out of place...

*He stopped and moved to a crowd of people and watched her from their although he doubted it would do him much good since he was 6 ft. 6in. tall probably stick out like a sore thumb. In his mind he invisioned a brick wall to block her from reading his thoughts if she had that ability and his hand felt around under his coat to make sure his gun was in place incase she was a violent dominatrix.*

*As he stands there he suddenly feels a surge of sharp pain in his side and neearly doubles over and regaining stature he looks at the one he follows then in a blur of speed leaves the airport to go find the source of the pain in the city.*

There was a head that seemed to stick out above the rest, but that was just because he was really tall. He seemed to be lost in thought, and didn't look like he was following anyone. She would have dismissed him from her thoughts if she hadn't seen his hand sneak inside his coat. That could only mean one of two things, and she didn't like either one of them.

Better play it safe, she thought, and ducked into the alcove that led into the women's restroom. If he passes, I'm a paranoid freak. If he doesn't...I'll think about that later.

Before she could do anything, the man sped past her and out the doors, into the city.

Oh, I guess that solves that problem, she mused to herself.

As Abner hailed a taxi, Boelinda sat on a bench waiting patiently. All of a sudden she picked up a huge surge of energy and immediately stood up expecting an attack. She was shoved violently aside by someone racing pass her at a rate of speed unnatural to most. While picking herself up and dusting off some dirt she cursed at herself for shielding too hard. She should have felt someone approaching. She sent a probe towards the running person, she would remember his signature. He had a clouded aura almost as if he was shielding from her, and he was in pain. "Abner, hurry up. I want to follow him." she whispered. "It is too soon Boelinda the day grows late." her servant replies. She scowls knowing the truth of what he says. "Fine." she says. "I need to have some fun. Some long needed time off. I think i'll to a little club hopping." Abner sighs, "I cannot protect you, if you go galavanting off like some school girl Lady McCallister."
"Oh stuff it Abner, you always were a party pooper." Boelinda replies. "I'm going out and that's the end of it. Maybe I'll run into Him sometime." The stranger peaked her interest, and you know what curiousity does.

::koriko sits purched atop one of the towers. he is crouched down and looking out towards the ocean. he's been there for a few hours now. it's a pretty brisk night out. the wind is blowing a bit, making his trench coat wave in the wind. he puts one hand down to steady himself as he coughs violently. he puts his knee next to his hand and looks at his hand after he is done coughing. theres quite a bit of blood on it. he spits what is left in his mouth over the top::

"this god damn virus is going to kill me soon, i can bearly feed and i don't have the energy to take on anything more then a child or the elderly... why isn't there a cure yet, what the ******** is taking so god damn long?!"

::he gets up and looks down. he jumps down from the top of the tower. he lands kinda roughly seeing as he doesn't have much energy. he walks over towards the gates to get into the air feild. climbing up and over the gate, he walks out of the air feild into one of the parking lots thats right by the gates::
