 Aponi was running through the forest, her fur was flowing in the wind and she pushed her legs faster. She ran to get Cleo water the birch bark cup firmly in her mouth as she ran. She ran from the two fox's in the clearing ,she needed a break because she could tell in their eyes that they loved each other once the tension calmed down. It hurt her to see the pair who seemed so unlikely to love to see the love in their eyes even before they saw it it hurt her because she knew no one wanted her like that. As she neared the river she could feel the fatigue wear down her legs and she slowed to a subtle walk, Aponi was thinking to herself Fox's who come to me are just after my services as a healer,I was raised to help and always take in any fox who need help, I love doing that but I wish someone liked me for me and not my healing she thought to herself. ((She is in another RP "Running from the world" Where Cleo meets Fredrick and Cleo has an injured shoulder that Aponi is treating and this is when shes fetching water))

 Annan was taking a drink at the river when he saw Aponi approaching. He smiled over at her. "Hi there, I do not think I have seen you here before, I am Annan." Annan was a friendly fox, but he seldom went into areas with a lot of other foxes, so he did not know a lot of the locals or visitors. "You may want to catch your breath before you head back to where ever you are in such a hurry to be. You won't be any good to anyone if you pass out." He walked over to her, and did a quick scan of her to make sure she wasn't hurt herself. He could not stop himself from a brief notice of how lovely she was, but he dismissed the thought. He grabbed a few fish he had caught a few minutes before, and wrapped them in some leaves. "Take these while you are at it, it does not look like you have taken time to eat lately."

Aponi jumped not expecting another fox to be there, turning around to face the stranger Aponi slipped and fell in a clumsy way. Embarrassed she Quickly got up in a scramble "Hello I'm Aponi, nice to meet you Annan" she said shyly. Realizing she must look like a mess from running through the woods so uncaring as she diddnt expect to run into anyone. "I look worse then I feel" she explained to the Annan a little sheepishly, looking at the fish she said "thanks I really appreciate it."

"Well, of course, I would not want a pretty fox like you to be hungry," he said, blushing a little when he realized he said that-but then he shrugged it off and smiled. "Why are you in such a hurry?" he asked, looking both curious and confused. He watched her carefully, still assuring himself that she was okay. She had dropped her cup when she slipped, and he walked over to pick it up. He filled her cup in the river, and sat it near the base of her paw as he waited for her to answer.

Aponi blushed at the comment, her pale fur gave it away and she wished for dark fur that could hide it right now. Me pretty? Aponi thought to herself in shock that someone thought she was pretty. "Well um......." she stammered, c'mon you can talk its not that big of a dealAponi thought. "Well I am a healer and I am treating the shoulder of a fox who fell on a rock". Aponi may have told the truth about Cleo but she lied about why she ran so fast when there was a stream that Fredrick could give her water from, the fact that she couldn't stand seeing them in love when she could never have someone love her.

"A healer, hum thats interesting," he said, but then dismissed the topic because to him, that was not really that big a deal. "I can help you carry this stuff back to them if you like, but if it is who I am thinking of, they are no longer where you left them. Two foxes walked past here a little while ago-one sort of carrying the other- heading toward the waterfall," he said, "I can lead you there if you like." He added two extra fish to the package he gave her, and then, using fishing line he had snagged in the river, wrapped it to keep it attached to the bottom of the cup.

"Yes a healer" Aponi said, she was very proud of the fact that she could cure and help fox's with her gift. "If there was an orange female on the back of a sandy colored male then that's them alright" she half muttered half spoke. she looked down at her paws then up to Annan "your really generous" Aponi told Annan with an admiring tone.

"That was them alright," he said, smiling. "I am not that generous, I just help out where I can. I used to travel a lot before I settled in this area, and I hated how few foxes would stop and help others. So, do you want to take this to them, or just hang out here for a while-she looked like she was feeling a little better," he asked. He stretched a little, because he was tired from fishing, but he wanted to help the lovely new fox he met. He took her cup in his mouth, and waited for her to decide what she wanted to do.

"I say let them take care of themselves I treated it and wrapped it tight and the waters clean I think it would be good for her to have a little fun in the stream and wash up,she will know when to stop." Aponi said without really thinking. "And yes you are very generous, it takes a special fox to stop and give his catch to a complete stranger" she exclaimed. Stretching out fully on the bank she rolled over and asked the new purple and yellow fox "What do you want to?" now in a more laid back and playful mood that she's rested.

Annan smiled, and sat the cup back down, opening the leaves so the fish would be easily avaliable to her. "I am gonna go for a swim, you are welcome to join me," he said, happy to have a new friend. He was a bit of a loner sometimes, so this was new to him, but he felt very comfortable with this interesting fox. "Aponi is a beautiful name, by the way," he told her as he walked over to the river bank and swam toward the middle of the river.

"Sure I will come" Aponi said enthusiastically happy to be with another fox who wasn't a patient. Looking back to him she told him "Yes my name is Native American for butterfly, Annan is a very pretty name as well" she said happily. Aponi followed him into the river and soon caught up to him in the middle. "So does Annan have a special meaning?" Aponi asked trying to start a conversation.

"Annan is a celtic name, it has several meanings but the primary one is nature. I guess my name suits me well in the fact the I love being anywhere that is wild." He swam in circles around her, enjoying watching her tread water. "So where do you live, Aponi?" he asked, keeping his eyes on her at all times. He came to a stop in front of her so that it would be easier to talk to her. He loved the sound of her voice, it was very smooth and sweet.

Treading water happily she watched as Annan circled around her, "That's really cool how your name matches your personality." Getting a little tired Aponi swam a little closer to shore so that her feet can touch the smooth pebbles of the river bottom. Aponi looked into Annans eyes they where orange pretty but kind of add coloring for a fox.

"Thanks." Annan followed Aponi toward shore. "If you are getting tired, there is a really great sunny spot to dry off, and take a rest," he said, leading her toward the shore. He walked onto the shore, and walked over to an area behind a few rocks. It was bright and sunny there, and the grass was really warm. He gestured at it with his paw, and then layed down off to the side so that she could have the warmed area. He smiled at her as he waited for her to come and join him.

Aponi delightedly followed him onto the bank, the soft sand going through her toes as she walked over it to get to Annan on the grass. As her paws softly padded the soft warm grass the sun shone on her shiny coat and the warmth went through her body she sat next to Annan smiling and truly happy. Looking down at the laying fox she smiled and said thank you very much."
