Wandering around the snow-blanketed riverside had started to wear Raedyn out, his hooves frozen to a point where he more than felt it, but he wasn't ready to return to the teepee. Instead, he'd shrunken down and flittered about, back and forth between the water and the bank. Surely it had to be more entertaining than nosing through the two-legger's things.
Even with his zig-zagging flight pattern, he was starting to get bored again, and he flittered himself a bit higher, his violet eyes searching along the river for any sign of life.

Tiahana sighed, amber eyes wandering about as she fluttered gently in the breeze. Nothing to do... nowhere to go. She could go race the crashing waterfalls, trying to beat the swirling droplets to the lake below, but what where was the fun in doing so alone? She could flit from flower to flower in miniature form, behaving like the butterflies she so resembled, but she'd done that yesterday. She could...
Her ears perked. On the other side of the river, flitting about restlessly, was a fellow Flutter! A stallion, in fact.
A dazzling smile softened her features. "Hello there!" she called, her silken voice holding a musical tone. "Fancy some company on this fine day?" Her blunt inquiry was mediated by her good-natured attitude.

The sound of the mare's lyrical voice near caused Raedyn to tumble into the chilly waters beneath him, but he managed to catch himself before actually hitting the water.
Company sounds good! he offered on a laugh as he zig-zagged closer to the she-flutter, his features bright as he looked over her, the natural colors she held definitely different from the other mares he'd come across.
I was starting to get bored out here by myself.

Tiahana's eyes widened at the stallion's nearly-hazardous stumble, but returned to their normal sultry half-lidded gaze at his enthusiastic reply.
"Wonderful!" Her wings fluttered delicately at her side, as though aching to soar through the air once more. She watched the ebony stallion zig-zag with quiet consideration, as though she had already come to some decision about him.
With a single graceful pirouette, she took flight. She mimicked his swirling patterns, a gentle laugh punctuating her elegant movements. "My name is Tiahana, by the way."

Tiahana, he echoed thoughtfully before offering a bright, welcoming smile to the mare as their fluttery forms danced closer. Very nice to meet you! My name is Raedyn.
Despite their constant movements as they hovered over the water, Raedyn's violet eyes looked over Tiahana's darker form, taking in her details while an appreciative look fell over his features as he admired her grace.
