Firemoon roamed the fort, with bored sigh. Her human went to the city today to visit her family, and do some shopping. The only thing she like about winter was that she got some rest, but it was just too long of a time to do nothing. Maybe she could bug Keahi, when she got back, to go to the Academy and torture the young recruits. Maybe she would even scare away the weak ones. At that thought her teeth showed in a wolf grin.
Finding a shelter place from the cold wind, Firemoon sat behind a building. Her teal eyes watched as a few humans and wolves walked past. Soon she lowed herself so her head laid on her paws. She really needed something to do, but what. Why must winter be so boring, she thought with a heavy sigh. Hearing a bird's cry in the distance, she lift her head back up. Shaking her head at the nose, she started licking the ice and snow out of from her paws.

Firestride
His rider was running errands again, carting messages to certain people, but that was only one of menial tasks that he had been assigned to do. Firah's skills were far to important to waste on trivial matters, his Beloved should be doing intensive work... something more suiting of his abilities. But as to exactly what, Firestride wasn't yet sure of.
Snapping angrily at a passing human, the male pulled back his gums in amusement at the female screeched and fled from his vicinity, unwilling to be a source of entertainment. Humans were interesting creatures. Much like a Wolven society, humans listened to those above them in power, but whether they were entirely loyal was always dependent on who was who. For the last five years, Firestride had been trying to puzzle out human society, but as of yet to no avail. Shaking his head as he passed beneath a barren tree, the male glanced upward as his presence frighted a bird from it's nest, tracking it as it flew squawking through the sky. The Bird's plump body reminded him that he hadn't eaten a good meal in quite some time, automatically adding it to the top of his to do list for the Day.
Pacing past a building, Firestride paused in mid-stride before wheeling about, twitching his ear in thought. Retracing his steps, the male moved closer to the building. /Firemoon. Greetings./ Although he didn't know the female on a personal level, he had often fought along side her in battle. Their Riders had become Privates around the same time as well, give or take a few weeks or months.

The bird cry seemed to warn Firemoon, a wolf was walking past. At first it seemed like he was just pasting by, until he turn back around. Her ear twitch, wondering what he wanted. Hello Firestride, she greeted back. What are you doing? Her paw slid toward her, push herself to into a sitting position. Her tail flopped over so the tip lightly brush her front paws.
Her eyes now took the time to look the male over. Most of the when they were with each other, they were either in the mist of fights, or she was to busy thinking of other things. He not to bad looking, and the extra fur works for him, she thought to herself. A quick look to one paw, to check the sharpness of her claws, said that she need something to do. Your human left you alone for the day, too? she asked, since she didn't spot his rider, what-his-name, anywhere. She didn't brother to remember human names, unless they were important.

/Nothing in particular. I am bored and the Humans here have learned to stay away from me when I am alone... too bad. I enjoy hunting the Unbondeds in sport./ Halting his approach when Firemoon was a few paces away, the male yawned before shaking out his mane and setting down upon his haunches. Though my instincts tell me its time to feed once more. I will probably go hunting in the Human's bovine herd today./ With his tail, Firestride mimicked the female's placement, but curling it around his forelegs in the opposite direction. So her human was busy doing something also? Just his luck he supposed, maybe the female would be in the right humor to take down a bovine with him. They were an easy kill for a single wolf, but when you hunted with another, toying with the kill was much more enjoyable.
/Firah is busy being messenger boy for his Commanders. He even has to carry the official 'messenger' bag for the 'messages' that he has to deliver. I feel as though they are playing with him./ Heaving an unamused sigh, he continued on, more to himself than to Firemoon. /Ever since that one letter to FlameHaze's Rider./
Making it look like he was at least slightly interested, which he really wasn't but he didn't want to lose a source of entertainment, Firestride swept his head to each side. /I take it your Rider is off doing something boring, or you probably wouldn't be stuck here like me./

Ha, official messenger bag, the poor thing, but yet not. It should good for him the run around for awhile. She said with a flick of her ear. Sometimes it seems like the riders to ride us to much. Though, I don't know if your is like that or not. Her eyes drifted away from the male to watch one wolf and rider pair walk by. Humans also seemed to be so lazy compare to wolves. Keahi is out having a lazy day, but she should be using the time for more useful things.
Firemoon got to her paws as she stretch out her front legs. She walked over so she was standing next to firestride. If you don't mind, I'll like to come with you to hunt the stupid bovine. The hunt will do me good, plus talking about the humans is starting to bore me.
