An Immortal's Tale
Plot/StoryLine
"When the sun rises, we will be there. And when the sun sets, we will be there."
In an alternate reality, hardly imagined by the human mind, there is a world where the immortals roam free. Their races and powers are nothing to hide, in fact they are things to be sure to learn and in turn, over power or fear.
There is a war going on, a group of high ranking demons are working on a way to bring human canidates to their world, a feast for their minds, their bodies, and their souls. There is another group fighting against this, something that humans would call a group of gaurdians or angels.
Unfortunately for the demon's, the portal in which they continue to pull humans through continues to move through out their world. So, once a human is pulled, the demons must go out and search for their next conquest.
The human's find themselves in a strange place, and if they are not driven crazy by their new surroundings, the human's have the opportunity to take control of the situation, and find somewhere to hide. If they are lucky, a gaurdian will be there to aid them. However, if they do not find cover quickly, then perhaps a demon may succeed in their mission.
"Who's hands will you fall into?"

The Humans
Played by : ToastedMuffin My name is : Christena Mayfeild I look like :  My gender : Female My age is : 21 My powers are : n/a My race is : Human My alliances run with : The Gaurdians My life story : Torn from her life on earth, Christena found herself in the backroom of a demon's bar. Her usual spunky and hyper self lost with her mind. She was raised to take the unknown and unusual, and work it out through her mind. Although, demons and angels are on a whole different level on which the human cannot seem to cope with. She had managed to escape the bar, and flee away from the buildings housing beings from this strange world. At one point in her time in this world, she was captured by a few rogues. Not demons that worked for the cause, instead she was captured by monsters that only wished to see her in pain. She was branded and enslaved. Christena is the longest roaming human in the world of the immortals, after her escape from her enslavement, she was able to make alliances with the gaurdians dispite her demon branding. - - - -Played by : Tally Tachibana My name is : Nori Rei I look like :  My gender : Male My age is : 18 years old My powers are : To read things from pieces of writing My race is : Human My alliances run with : Humans My life story : I lived and worked at a bookstore for money. My family was poor so I gave them the money I earned, I saw Lucifer a lot there, so we became friends. Sadly, my family died by a demon's hand and I vowed to fight them, Lucifer introduced me to the group called guardian/angels. I now fight alongside her using silver bullets and my voice which can bring things from books, such as my pet...orb, Lunn.

The Demons - Soul Snatchers Played by : ToastedMuffin My name is : Ravyn Von Claude I look like :  My gender : Male My age is : Appears 27 My powers are : Hypnosis, Teleportation My race is : Vampire My alliances run with : Demons My life story : A gentleman of sorts, Ravyn was raised learning how to obtain whatever he wanted. Whenever he wanted. The vampire had mentally, ages hundreds of years, although his physical appereance had not changed from his 27 year old body. His good looks, and hypnotising eyes tend to aid him in reaching his goals. Working for the Demon's army had been perfect for him from the start. His search for the human's allowed him to play with the weak race, and take a few tastes before he returned them to the Demon's sancturary. Ravyn most enjoys playing with creatures mind's, both immortal and human alike. His abilities allow him to take total control of their minds, and his strength and power give him control over their bodies. And that is what he had always enjoyed most ; having complete and total power over everything he can get his hands on. This need, to have control, has proven to become a problem lately in his job. this, Love for power and control has convinced him to keep the human's he likes to play with the most, at his side. The Demon's merely wish to feast upon the human's soul. Ravyn's race is able to steal the soul away from the world alone, and send it to its rest. If he felt ever so inclined, the vampire could steal the human away, and turn them into one of his children.

Played by : ToastedMuffin My name is : Tobious Rutherford I look like :  My gender : Male My age is : Appears 24 My powers are : Flight, Controlling light, Slowing time My race is : Angel My alliances run with : The Gaurdians My life story : Tobious is an angel, fighting for acceptance among all those around him. His lack of abilities in the world of power and manipulation caused him to be the subject of ridicule for most of his life. Being an immortal, allows for a much longer life to live; a shame when it is to be lived in torment. His need to be accepted, has caused him to join with the rebellion against the Demons and their soul snatching. As the sun began to rise, Tobious ran his fingers through his freshly washed hair. With a light sigh, his pale hues would search outside of his window. Where will today take me? He asked himself, nearly every morning before he began his search for humans.
In a few moments, he was ready. Although the water still dripped down his skin, he walked out of his small sheltered door. A cautious look given both left and right before take off.
His strong wings would carry him where ever he wanted to go, and on occasion he was able to carry another being with him. He relied on this strength if he did infact find a lost human. To save them, to take them away to a safe place. If he had to, Tobious would swoop down a snatch the human from where they stand. But that is only if the humn stands on forbidden ground; a place where no gaurdian can step foot. Less they would like a death sentance; one they cannot run away from.
He smiled at the thought of their thankyous, their absolute joy once they have been saved. Tobious could never imagine thefear they held, he had been in this world since it was created. Nothing really scared him anymore, he just knew when he should be careful, and when he should just stay away. He remembered the first human he spoke to, her name was Christena. She was a sad story to tell, the angel winced in pain when he thought of her slavery marks. She must've had a better personality, once. But now she wasa cold human, angry at her luck in life. She was still looking for a way to go home...
As he flew above the tree lines of the dark forest, his eyes would search quickly throughout all the trees. The dark earth made it easy to spot the humans; due to their pale flesh, they were an easy find. Or an easy target.

With a devilish smile, Ravyn's fangs would peek from behind his soft lips. His fingers squeezed tightly around theneck of his assailant; a failed attempt at m urder on their part that is for sure. The moment the petty demon had attacked the vampire, he could not help but laugh. "You fool!" He teased, taking a hold of their neck with his strong grip. Putting his voice beside their ear, he asked, "Do you not know who you're dealing with? How quickly you've just ended you're life." His voice was quiet, and very soft as he spoke. The other being's struggle lessening quickly.
He could still taste the foul blood on his lips after he consumed every lastdrop. The body fell to the earthy floor hard. "Ahh...A day inthe life." He mused, picking up his hat that was so rudely shoved to the ground. Shrugging his broad shoulders, the demon began to walk away from the crime scene. Although, it was hardly a crime in this world; murder was just another way to survive.
Humming an evil little tune, Ravyn's arms stretched forward and then above his head. In an instant, he was home, in his castle. A spoiled little brat he was, the vampire had grown to have everything he wanted.
His castle was dark, the material used was undefinable, and burned at the touch of it. It's only resembling material was burning coal. The castle even had it's glowing reds that appeared randomly through out the halls, rooms, and dungeons. It was absolutley this vampire's style. And he loved it. Running his cold fingers against the hot black and red walls, gave him merely a moment of warmth. A warmth that would drive any human mad with pain.
It was perfect.

Christena moved about the trees angrily, a piece of bloodied fabric wrapped around her upper arm. She damned these demons that chased after her; from what she could tell, she barely had any soul left to give to the snatchers. And yet, they still came after her. The monsters of her nightmares.
As she moved about the trees, stumbling as the sun began to rise, she found herself thinking about her life. Not this one, here with the immortals, but rather the life she could barely remember. When she was happy, and not continuously fighting for her life. It had been so long, her family and friends were faint voices in the back of her mind. Food here was scarce, it pained her to think of the food on earth. She missedit...
"Damn it..!" She cursed aloud, throwing her small fist into the trunk of an innoccent tree. "I hate this stupid place!" She was nerely screaming, a thing that wasn't exactly the smartest action. But Christena wasn't smart anymore, no. She was driven mad by her fear and anger. She was hardly even Christena anymore. She didn't know who she was.

Lucifer, happily as ever, dashed through the city's streets and to the bookstore where Nori once worked, now owned by one of the big hotshot companies it wasn't a pleasant experiance. So Lucifer just snatched a b few books from her two favorite sections, bought them, went into the store's newly refurbished bathroom and transported herself back to the farm where her adoptive parents and Nori waited.
"By god, Luc!" Nori scolded, "More mangas! I swear, those things will fry your brains! They probably already have!" But Lucifer just stopped on the steps, turned around and looked questioningly at Nori with a dum dum in her mouth, then Lucifer grinned around the lollipop and threw one to Nori, "Ya' can't blame me for loving these manga! I mean, humans make the best books, besides, I bought some chapter books!"
"They're most likely fantasy books!" Nori cried after her as Luc raced up the stairs to their room in the attic. Lucifer jumped up onto her bed and flipped open a Shojo Beat, happily reading the fantastic stories of human romance.

Tobious moved against the trees cautiously, the tips of his wings gently grazing the forbidden grounds. After he had heard the scream from Christena, his first thought was tha tit was a new human. Someone new that could learn to appreciate the small powers that he posses. But as he followed the sound, he merely saw Christena; the human that refused to live among the gaurdians. Tobious had always figured the girl disliked him, for reasons of her own. But that didn't stop him from trying.
"You know, yelling like that will only attract more things that you dislike. Christena." As he spoke, he came into her view. His blonde hair sat on his shoulder, her brow puckered in pity as he saw her. his pale hues looked her over. She was hurt, but that was nothing new. the human could take care of herself, for the most part. She had been here long enough to learn how to survive here.
"Unless that's what you want...To be captured, I mean."

As soon as the angel came into view, Christena sighed. Her body slumping onto the ground. "I don't care. I'm waiting for the snatchers now. I don't want to be here anymore." Her voice was a mere rumble to the angels ears, her eyes stared angrily towards the sun. "The other ones like me, the humans, who've been killed. They are the lucky ones. You and you're gaurdians think I am lucky, to still be breathing. Do you have any idea what its like?!" In an up roar, she stood and flung her fists. "You can't even stan on this ground, let alone know how it feels to be trapped on it!"
It wasn't that she disliked the angel. She just, couldn't in her right mind believe in him. Let alone, believe any thing he said to her. Christena looked him over, his sad look. She didn'twant his pity. She wanted her life back, her home, her friends and family... None of this mystical junk. "Why me..." She whispered to herself, turning away from the angelic figure infront of her.

Lucifer walked the streets of the human realm, happily watching the people passing by. Nori walked several yards behind her, trying to be stealthy, but you could never hide from Luc. Not if you even tried hard enough. Luc turned a corner and jumped up onto the roof of a nearby building in one great leap, and as Nori turned the corner, looking around confused, she jumped down as silently as her feline counterpart and drew the dagger she had just created from a metal railing, holding it to Nori's neck. "You should never walk in dark alleys little boy!"
"I'm hardly little," Nori whimpered, "I'm five years older than you are!"
"Yes, but nothing can protect you from a demon, especially not your age or words that are reluctant to even listen to you!"
"They're not reluctant! I..." Nori choked on the last words.
"You are reluctant," Luc finished, "and that's why you'll be dead in mere seconds!" Luc released her weapon, letting it drip down onto the ground to form a puddle of liquid. "Demons!!!" Luc turned around quickly to find a woman fallen to the ground, looking at them frightened. Luc looked away angrily and grabbed Nori's gloved hands, "C'mon, let's go!" Luc, not knowing where she was gowing, transported herself to the Immortal Realm.
In the immortal realm Nori tripped and fell into a grassy area, "Where are we?" he asked, Luc looked around frowning then spotted two people, an angel and a human. Luc snarled and grabbed Nori, hiding behind a thick tree, "Dammit!" Luc, worried about Nori, turned into her fiery red form, her slim tail whisking around behind her. Luc cautiously came up to the two, acting the part of a feral cat. She looked up at the angel and mewed.
