Adelle had wandered off away from Shihab and the mountain lion Dao, so that she could get her mind focused on trying to at least have the image of happiness. The dove-like mare could not stand having her mate see her upset, and so she tried to keep her thoughts hidden from him. She knew that he worried about her but she tried to keep that worry to a minimum. Her mind wandered to the cause of her saddness and the tears started to form in her eyes.
Her youngest daughter was trying so hard to break away from the family, and every attempt the daughter did, the more depressed Adelle became. She also thought about the little angeni foal she had taken in and then shortly after he left his basket, he ran away. "Neva...Alexiel, why have you left me?" she asked aloud, her voice breaking as she fought against her mind wanting to cry. "Please come back to me." As she spoke, she fell down to the ground, her body heaving with her cries, and her face now streaming with tears.

His search for his charge had progressed slowly. The herd he sought was not difficult to find as a whole but the specific individuals remained scattered across the territory. He had heard from one individual that the particular family he had sought hadn't yet arrived back yet and consequently he was once again wandering aimlessly in foreign lands in search of clues. As of yet he had not located any further hints as to their whereabouts and his patience was wearing thin. Time was of the essence in regards to this particular patience and further delays would make the healing process significantly harder.
Still as he thrust his way through the snow with his head bowed against the wind he was permitted the opportunity to consider what previous hints he might have received. Unfortunately his reverie didn't last very long though as the foreign, Kawani accent caught his ears and his glowing gaze lifted. His ears swivelled and no sooner had his ears caught upon the direction of the sound than his eyes had locked onto the heaving mass of white fur and tri-coloured hair.
It was unmistakably a soquili.
Shifting his weight, he changed directions and calmly made his way towards the mare. At first he had assumed that she was injured but at her heaving sides and the distressed tears it was evident that while physically unharmed, another ailment plagued her. It seemed the Kawani lands were rife with emotional suffering, none seemed content with their lives in these times. Nevertheless while he may have been in search of his original charge it was his duty as a doctor to pause and stay a while with those who appeared to require his assistance.
Thus, it was with a soft sigh that he used his tail to lift her chin up to look at him. His expression was largely unreadable but it was not a hostile one, "Tears in such foul weather will freeze to your face and harm your gaze, Miss..." he offered gently. His accent was most definitely foreign his words broken and jolted. He was not a soquili that came from the KAwani and he made no attempts to hide it, but neither did he attempt to hide his awareness of her pain either.
"A more sheltered location is perhaps more appropriate, yes?"

Adelle felt her chin being lifted up, and at first thought it was Shihab at first, for her eyes were still bleary, due to the tears that filled her eyes. Opening her mouth to apologize, she heard the voice that spoke to her, all broken and foreign. This was not her mate! She quickly shook her head to try to rid her eyes of the tears, so she could see a bit more clearly.
This stallion with a horn upon his head, looked so majestic, that the mare now felt ashamed to have been found in this condition. How could she have let herself be found like this?
"I'm sorry you found me like this." Her quiet voice said as she slowly stood up. Even standing she still felt very small compared to him. "I normally have better control of my emotions." She lowered her head so as to avoid looking at his face. This would teach her to hold her emotions better!
"Sheltered location?" Adelle managed to pick up as she listened to his question. "If you know of one then perhaps you shall head there?" It didn't even cross her mind that this majestic and foreign stallion may want her to accompany him, even if for a little while.

His gaze softened at the suddeness of her response, he was partially to blame of course for intruding upon her personal space but it had been necessary at the time. Her health was the most important thing in this weather and to colapse in the snow was a death sentence - to be blinded by tears would be the ultimate irony. He couldn't permit this as a doctor and as such he had interrupted her personal moment. He would apologise in due course but for the time being he was more concerned with her condition as opposed to his own manners. It was important even in foreign lands to have appropriate priorities after all and if he had placed manners over survival he would have perished a long time ago at the claws and teeth of a much more violent and unruly being.
"Controlling one's emotions is not always healthy," he offered after a few moments, shaking his head slowly to dismiss her apology for her appearance. He had seen a lot worse! Mares weeping (while distressing) could not deter him from what was important. "It is good to express yourself now and again," he continued after a few moments. He hesitated to gather his thoughts and rifled through his mental dictionary to find the appropriate words for what he wished to say next. It was difficult to converse in a language you had so little practice with...
"However there is a time and a place for it - ice bound mountains are not this place," he flicked his tail a little and coiled it around his leg, his head bowing somewhat to look down upon the pale mare. "That is why I advised you find sheltered, if you wish to relieve your stresses then I would implore you to do it in a safer environment... You understand, yes?" He explained tentatively.
