Have you seen Repo The Genetic Opera?
If so, did you like it? And what did you like about it? What was your favorite and best parts? Who are you favorites from it?

GTR had tried getting me interested by telling me about it several times. He would have had more luck if he didn't say anything about it at all. I'm not big on most musicals anyways. There are a few that I like but it's rare that I'll like a musical.

That's understandable, I'm the same way.
I'm not much into musicals all the time, it just has to matter with what it's about.
I mean, I like:
~Moulin Rouge
~The Producers
~And now Repo

The only musicals I like are Rocky Horror, and Moulin Rouge. Well a bunch of Disney, but they fall under a "Disney" category for me and not musicals.

If you like Rocky Horror, you should love this. Campy, catchy, songs.
I was highly impressed with Repo. Anthony Stewart Head can really sing, I've heard him before.
My 2 favorite characters are Pavi Largo and Blind Mag.
Great idea, and also scary...it could happen.

I don't like the idea of someone coming to take your body parts. The whole plot of the story disturbs me.

In the beginning, I wasn't so sure about movies like that, but my boyfriend was. He got me into Rocky Horror and others.
Oh yes, Mr. Head has a beautiful voice.
My boyfriend loves Pavi as well, he can sing like him to a T. It's actually quite scary. He can also sound just like GraveRobber.
But overall, I was very impressed with the movie and the songs were just beautiful. And the simple/scary/sad truth about it, it could really happen in the future.
But why it's so gross is because the same director who directed the SAW movies directs this movie.
And, I have to admit, Paris Hilton looks pretty damn hot as a goth! wink

Ya, no. just no no no. I'm not watching any s**t with Paris Hilton in it or some crap directed by the same person who did those nasty saw movies. Big ol' no thanks. Anymore reasons for me to say no? I'm liking this.

My boyfriend's friend saw the play and told it to him about that they are making a movie out of it.
His friend said that the play was much better than the movie. Well, I can't compare the two since I haven't seen the play.
But thumb's up for the movie anyway! xd
