Alright, I know there are some history geeks somewhere in this Army, so I'm calling you out. For you opinion, that is. Anyways, you know there was some awesome leaders of nations, some badass ones, and several ones that you'd have to wonder on how they ever got the position to lead a nation. So what I want is your opinion about who's the best leader....and who may be the worst one in history.

Hmm, for worst, it's hard to decide... I say Caligula! That guy was absolutely nuts! He made a bridge of boats for which he would hold parties and throwing people off it, declaring himself God, declaring war on Poseidon and declaring a bounty of seashells as his spoils of war, cross-dressing in public, knocking up his sister and doing it with his trusty steed.

...the horse thing reminds me of Catherine (the Great? I think that's right), where she died from doing a horse. Maybe not one of her best ideas, but still... she WAS a good, stable leader. She was a smart, well-learned female queen, in my opinion. 3nodding

Well that's creepy. As for me, I can't be too sure. Lincoln was good, but who knows what he could've done if he survived that shot. JFK was also admired, I can't see anything bad about him seeing as how he got killed by a random person. Hitler, I'd actually have to praise him for building up an effeciant army and city so quickly in the Great Depression. Too bad he tried to rule with a dictatorship, or else he could've been a great ally to join with.
I do not like Hitlet, I respect his leadership qualities.

Well, if Hitler wasn't such a psycho, then he probably would have been a powerful leader. With his charisma, he could have taken over the world even. However, because of his idiotic ego and vision, no one trusted him and therefore, he failed indefinitely. So sad...too bad.

Actually, the same could be said for a lot of evil dictators. If you ignore the fact that millions of people died in the process, Joseph Stalin and Mao Zedong are heroes for the Russian and Chinese economies, respectively.

I have to ask, though: did they want to control the populations of their people by killing them so that they have a better control over them? Or were they really psychomaniacs with racial prejudices against certain people? It would seem like the first possibility would be correct, but most people would believe the second possibility more so to have an example of who to hate.

Well it does depend on how they met certain people and what the were told earlier in their childhoods. Then there are those craving power, so killing a bunch of people from a group who could be a threat is their way of saying "I like to be your leader, so I want it to stay that way."

I do wonder if there will be some future world leaders in this Guild, though. I'd say it's unlikely, but in truth... you never know. Do you think anyone here has the potential to be a leader? Like Chang or Dok? Responsibility and compassion are the key to a good leader in my opinion.

I'd say so. Look what happens to Hammi because of your "compassion". I'm surprised he hasn't gone cuckoo yet. But really, what makes a good leader besides the ones I already mentioned? Intelligence? Money? Charisma?

It depends on who you are and how the leader uses their assets. For Germans, Hitler's charm and charisma were something to be envied and his power was something to be held in reverence... For the Jews, on the other hand...
