 Thona had been watching this new pride for some time now. Having interest in destroying it completely because of their views and what they wanted to do to those like him. For now, he couldn't have full force and kill any of those. His children were old enough for that.
No, he had better ideas to let them know who he was. He had been watching the cubs around, and found the perfect one to take while the pride was small and weak. Of course, as it grew, he'll try to cub-nap more and more. But for now, he just wants to be seen, and known. He grinned as he watched the little girl lioness. So cute in all the glory. He was hiding from view at the moment.
Waiting. Waiting for the right opportunity to grab her and run.

 Athena had been mostly minding her own, ignoring the other cubs for her own adventures. She often found herself indulging in cruel acts, catching mice and slowly, painfully slowly, pulling her claws through them, listening to them scream in pain.
Today, she'd managed to catch a hare, and was pinning it with her body, doing just that. As the smaller animal struggled, Athena grinned, ears back and a wild look in her eyes. It was positively euphoric, the feeling it gave her. It also did well to keep her aunt's and cousin's hares from going anywhere near her.
When the object of her torture stopped moving and breathing, she got up, smacking the body aside. Weak creature... She snorted at it, then started to walk away. There had to be something she could indulge in torturing

Thona watched with great interest of the young cub. She seemed like something he needed in the pride. Another plus for taking her. "pssst" He made a noise to get her attention. He always tried different strategies in taking cubs. Sometimes he knocks them out, sometimes he convinces them to follow him. Sometimes he just grabs them and runs. Today, he wasn't sure what he was going to do, but it'd come to him as he went.
He wondered if she'd be good at all for what he had planned. She could easily fit in the lower rank of the pride. Probably the common lion. But at least she could make strong males in the future. That's all he saw in any female. Cub or not. But the possibility of more males that could end up like herself was just perfect for Thona. "You" he started. "little girl.... come here a minute" He added.

Ears flicking, the black and purple cub looked over. Now who could that be? Giving the stranger a sneer, she went over. "And what do you want? Who are you? I've never seen you before..." Slowly, she circled him, taking in his looks. A leopard... The pride had a few of those. But this one was different... Much larger...
Her ears flicked, one eye twitching before she turned and attacked a twittering bird. The delicate creature stood no chance against her claws, sinking into the flesh and weight crushing the hollow bones. When she'd finished, she simply discarded the body, turning her attention back to the leopard.

"I am just someone who can help grow your talent you have with killing things." He told her. He wanted to make her fell special. He wanted to see how easy it was to manipulate someone her age. He'd tried it once, but really not as hard as he was going to now. "I see talent like yours to be special, and needing to be grown, something like a beautiful flower with thorns." He told her. Flattery was something that females fell for normally.
Thona didn't flinch at all as she ripped the bird apart. In fact, he just stood there and watched her. It was nothing really. He didn't faze on stuff like that, and he was showing her he didn't. He gave a tiny yawn before she turned back at him. That way she didn't see that he was kind of bored with the situation.

The cub's ears perked, listening to the praising words. A smile crept along her maw. Somebody reveled in her killing things.... It sent a happy shiver up her spine. "I do have talent, don't I...?" She stepped closer, eyes shining.
"Tell me... Leopard.. Where do I need to go? What do I need to do?" Delight shone in her eyes, a twisted grin having made it onto her face. "Call me Athena... And tell me your name, so I know who to thank when I may rip apart those whose very faces I do not like..."

Thona couldn't help but give the other a rather cruel looking grin. "Well, my dear." He started. "Your lucky. I'm the king of said pride." He told her more about his pride of bullies. How everything they do will cause chaos in the world and soon make the weak see how pathetic their life was. It was strange telling this all to a cub, but whatever got her to come with him. He had forced cubs before, but he felt like he didn't have to here.
"I'm King Thona." He said adding his title he normally never used. But it made him seem that much better when saying it. He needed more like this girl. Preferably males.

Thona... The name sounded like it held power, and his title confirmed this. Stone-blue eyes shining, Athena grinned, taking another step closer. "You speak words that entice my very soul... I do believe, King Thona, that you have found yourself... Somebody of interest..." Oh, but the chance to grow up and not be told that heckling and tormenting others was wrong! It was.. Perfect. To Athena, this sounded like Shangri-la. "I am yours, King Thona, to command.."

He smiled, twisted and not really caring to hide it. So he had another minion to add to his pocket. "This way, if you please then." He told her as he turned from her and started to walk towards his pride. It'll be a three day journey, but you'll be save and well fed." He told her but didn't look at her. He felt that she was following him and didn't need to say much more. "You'll have to walk on your own, for I have to see how strong you really are." he added. "And I don't really take pleasure in carrying cubs around."

Following after Thona, Athena couldn't help but grin a little. Oh, this would be a wonderful place! Pain and suffering caused by her paws... "I don't care how long it does or doesn't take... I anticipate my arrival there..." She gave him a sudden sour look, ears going back. "Do I LOOK helpless to you?" Holding her chin high, she gave a sniff. "I'll walk the whole way, without being carried or doted on!" She hated being carried. One of her aunts insisted on doing it to her... It was degrading.

He liked her spirit. It was easy to get them to go on his side at such a young age, but even easier when they were already half way there. He didn't even look at the cub as he walked towards the pride. Silence filled him as he did. He knew she'd be right there walking behind him. As he could hear every step she took. Another thing that made cubs bliss. You could always tell when they were coming since they didn't know the thing called silence.
