I was walking through one of the towns yesterday and I came across an interesting person. She (i assume she's a she) introduced herself and we were talking for a while. After that, we went to a couple of different houses in the towns and were talking for a bit.
Then came the question, "do you have a girlfriend?"
I respoded with "a wife."
Then, without any delay, she said "uh, bye" and left.
I only come here to meet friends with the same interest as me and didn't mean to lead her on. So I decided to have a poll asking "What do you come here for?"

I don't know why I came. someone recommended it, and I came. I like it, it's cool. I'm certainly not here for love. Possibly friends; I don't have many in the real world. People here accept me. Perhaps the internet hides my many quirks...

i have come to spread my weirdness to yet another forum and have some fun while i'm doing it acctually i would never have left yoshi lore forums (<-- Super Mario fan based forum) if everyone i knew hadn't already left so i geuss i came to get more online freinds of course i need to get online freinds because i don't have very many offline freinds except some kids at church and a couple of guys who live accross the street from me that i go to school with... look i'd get a life but then i'd have to give up one of my precous mana (<-- i play magic the gathering card game and i see nothing wrong with it)

I guess i came here first becuase of needing to talk to friend w/o using messenger then it became something i went on when everything else got boring now i finish my homework as fast as i can then hope into my computer chair and go striaght here
i found out i love talking to others in a more sophisticaded(bad speller) way then on messy messenger and that i can RPG all i want!! muh-ha-ha-ha!
*cough* so yeah, i love comeing here to have fun cause i always find some here
i also worship God here as well 4laugh

I Mainly come here because of the guild now, I dont really do much else, But I used to be on here every spare minute, just looking round and Exchangeing to my hearts content. But, my overall answer now is the same as Paulkees and also the fact I am determined to get an AFK again...

I came because one of my friends said I should check it out. I came and I liked it. It is a place I can talk to people from here ,there, and my friends at school. I just think it is fun and I am deffinitly not here for love. If people are looking for love I think they should go out in the real world and find it and stop being lazy.

Like the other people before me, I came to gaia to make friends (mostly Christian ones)and to chat online, because I live in Europe, and its hard to talk to my old friends from the states.

I came here for the friends and to have fun because there is always like nothing to do on other websites. Also I like have a lot of friends and crap like that because most people just do!!!!!!!!!!!

I definetly come her just to have some serious converstaions. I rarely can find people who want to or like to talk about God so this is were I have those conversations.

I just usually come here when im boredd.... and friends... I have enough in real life but I find it fun to talk to ppl online... Ive become close with a couple people on here and have quite a few inside jokes with them... I dont know it's just funn lol! but yeahh it's mostly because of being boredd...
