Yes, these are RP-required "pets." RP-requirements will not take shape in the form of time-based requirements, like "Post so many times a week," but instead will be based on the idea of "You must RP for your character to grow." Growth requirements will be based on a series of criteria known only by me and the other staff members, but basically I want to see you develop your character's personality.

Characters will begin as either full human or Pokemon and will progress through stages until reaching an anthro stage approximately halfway between the two. There will be a minimum of four stages of original art, with more available (and perhaps a surprise or two) for dedicated RPers.

Characters will be available in a number of ways, including but not limited to flatsales and auctions. (There may also be a way to get one by bribing artists... ninja )


1. We believe in the Golden Rule around here. Treat others as you yourself would like to be treated. Under no circumstances will I tolerate harrassment or flaming of other people in this thread. I don't care if they're newbies or oldbies. BE NICE!

2. All ideas and art in this thread are owned by their respective creators. Take my idea, art, or any of my artists' art and try to claim it as your own...I will not only report you to the proper mods, but I will hunt you down with a ruthless efficiency that would put any Pokeanthro to shame.

3. Seeing as these rules are typed in English, that would suggest to one that English is the native language around here. If you decide to speak in n00bsp34k (outside of joking around), understand that you are going to be ignored.

4. Do not question the decisions of the staff. We're in charge around here and it would not be a wise decision to harass any staff member.

5. Do NOT PM any of the staff for ANY reason! It's a one way trip to the Blacklist! If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please PM them to the "Spliced - Cronus" mule account.

6. As stated above, characters are RP-required in that you MUST post for them to grow! If you do not post in your journals, then your pet will not grow. It's that simple. We will not take them away or anything if you do not post in a certain amount of time. You have all the time in the world to post. Just be aware that they will be frozen in their current stage until you RP them enough to reach the next stage.

7. There will be two characters of each Pokemon species allowed, one starting from human and one starting from Pokemon (staff characters do not count towards the 2-character limit).

8. Do NOT advertise in this thread! We don't do so in your threads and we would expect the same consideration from you. If you would like to affiliate, on the other hand, please PM the shop mule.

9. Please do not bump this thread. We love for people to come in here and chat with one another, but bumping? It's not necessary, nor is it welcome. We'd rather the activity around here be communication of some sort rather than random posting.

1. No Godmodding. Period. If you attempt to power-play your character in any way, be warned that I will not hesitate to do a little power-playing of my own. In fact, your character may pay the price for your transgressions. If you persist in your attempts to power-play, more drastic measures WILL be taken.

2. There will be NO escaping the island. There are security measures in place to prevent this very event, but if you attempt escape anyway, be warned that your character may be affected by your RP...

3. ...in fact, realize that RP affects what happens to your character on a normal basis. RP may result in changes to your character, or perhaps result in their finding something that may edit their display picture. So, be careful in making your RP decisions...

4. Most formal RP will take place in the guild, though unofficial or OOC RP is welcome in the thread at any time. IF RP is going on here in the thread, please post all other conversation and OOC chatting in (()) or some other form of parentheses.

5. While contractions are fine (like can't, don't, or won't), please don't type things like "U R COOL!" That's not English. "U" and "R" are not words. We appreciate the effort it takes to type a couple extra letters to form a complete word.

6. At this time, there will be NO Pokeanthros of Legendary Pokemon. IF, in the future, we do decide to make them available, they will HAVE to go to those who have proven that they are mature enough to handle the responsibility of such power.

7. Flying-type anthros will NOT be able to fly off the island. Nice try. They will be able to glide or use their wings to slow a fall. POSSIBLY, they may be able to fly short distances, but very short. Think...chickens...or something. To my knowledge, the human frame could not be supported by the hollow bone structure necessary for flight, so we're not going to deal with that.

8. Experiments within the CRONUS facility will only be allowed to travel on their own between their rooms and the cafeteria. Dangerous subjects may be locked in their rooms if CRONUS believes that they cannot be trusted. If the subject tries to leave the dormitory area, they will discover that the hallway is cut off from any other part of the facility by reinforced locked doors that require an employee card to open. If subjects wish to visit the exercise yard, they must use the intercom to request an escort.
