Selina Schmidt had spend her entire life running away from everything. But when it came to the law, she'd make it run from her. After her firm, Haine, Knight and Schmidt, loses most of its assets, she has to learn to settle down and finally call one place home. Now forced to either lose it all or try to rebuild her firm and the relationships she thought she had lost. Moving back to Boston, Massachusetts, back to the office she swear she'd never return to only to find out she'd be sharing the building with a familiar face and re-enter a world she though she had left.

Captain Harvey Payne, was a man of many names. Bound to wander the universe until the end of days after a strange set of events. Now grounded as the head of secret organization that specializes in keeping the peace between humans, the magical community, and aliens as well as alien technology and the oddball crime no matter the race. He now faces the on coming break in a rift in space causing a up rise in strange supernatural occurrences. When his building receives a new tenant above his set of office spaces, his past starts coming back to haunt him.

When the 21st century is when everything starts changing. Together with the combined forces of a broken law firm and small band of misfits outlaws. Together they begin taking on some of the most eccentric and bizarre cases that the world has never seen the likes of before. Saving the world daily from anyone or anything that threatens the earth and its children, they'd have to be legally MAD//


So scrap it or continue and expand on it?

is there any reference by any chance to the show Boston Legal? there are things in it that sound like it (ex. a boston law firm called Haine, Knight and Schmidt and the fact that her name is Selina Schmidt. In Boston Legal there is a law firm in Boston called Crane, Poole, and Schmidt and one of the main characters is Shirley Schmidt.) other than that, i think you should edit parts. a boston law firm, magic, misfit outlaws, aliens and some mysterious guy who's keeping all those things together dont seem to quite fit all together. take parts and expand on them and scrap some of the others. like aliens and magic together seems weird. magic is nowadays a bit cliched but can make interesting plot lines, but then again, i havnt seen good alien plot lines yet so far. well i should just cut to the chase, expand on parts, edit the others instead of starting over because starting over means you dont have much and everybody knows what that feels like...it sucks.
