So, I need your advise. Since we're all band geeks here, and I'm sure you're bored, could you help me decide? = )
Alright, well, because of my severe back problems, I was debating whether or not to march next year. Marching is my LIFE. I practically consider the Tropicana dome my 3rd home. (the band room gets 2nd. ha ha.)
But today, my BD said he could really use me in the pit. And I definitely don't want to give up marching. And pit sounds like a good idea, and it could be fun... but I'm not sure. Dx
Any help? Advise? Random inputs?
Thanks. <3

Have you talked to your doctor to see if it is safe to march? Otherwise you might really hurt yourself. confused

I've never been in a band with a pit before, so I've no idea what that's like. But I think in your situation I'd definitely want to continue band in any way I possibly could. So I say yes. 8D

xD Are you paying attention, missy? Yes, I have asked. She says it's a very bad idea to march. But if I go into Pit, I'll be in the front. Either on Xylophone or something along the lines. -nodnod- MIRIENNE -- Thanks for your input<3

Hmmm... I think you maybe joining pit would be a great idea. If marching can seriously hurt you, than Pit seems right. You'll still get the thrill of performing with the band, you won't get hurt, and plus... I hear thePit is a party... sweatdrop
Lol... but that's just what i think... emo

i have a couple of friends that have serious health probs but that doesn't stop them marching. One of our percussionist busts up her knee like every year and she does pit so it doesn't stop her

I don't understand. Does your pit not march? Ours does, so I don't get it... Either way, I think you should do pit because if you can't march, then you should stay with your band in whatever way possible. ^_^ Good luck, and best of health! blaugh
