((LURAL! Help me think of a title for this RP. xD )) Joxer leapt over an uprooted tree and landed relatively gracefully on an extended branch. He crouched down and swished his tail mightily back and forth at his familiar, Sparta. "On gaurd you HEATHEN!" He braced his back legs and pounced on the floating helmet. Or rather, he tried to.
His left hind foot caught in a knot in the wood and his momentum pitched him forward, dislodging his paw with a POP and he fell headfirst into a leafy bush. Sparta twittered in amusement.

(The princess and the peabrain? rofl ) Cassiopeia was prancing through a lightly forested area. Recent winds seemed to have taken down a few trees. Thalia was weaving in and around the trees, burning off energy. The little candy orb seemed to have an excess supply of energy. Cassi glanced up at the orb as she darted overhead, then heard someone shout something. Heathen? That was a new word. It wasn't a bad word, was it? Slowly, she changed directions, hopping over a rock towards the sounds. She peeked through the brush and spied a green and red winiko dangle from a tree before his foot popped loose from the tree he had been tangled in and fell. She couldn't stop the giggle that escaped her. She covered her mouth with her paw to stifle the sound. Thalia wasn't so covert as she burst into the clearing giggling, leaving Cassiopeia aghast. "Thalia!" Cassi hissed for it to come back.

((HA! I like it.))
Joxer popped his head out of the leaves and shook the dirt from his mane. He frowned at Sparta and was about to tell him to shut his "cake hole", a phrase he'd picked up from his dad, when he realized it wasn't Sparta giggling at him. "Wha...who?"
He turned his head and noticed a little round familiar that looked like candy floating around. That was the source of laughter. "Hey! Cut that out you. Or do you want some of THIS?" He struck a warrior pose on the word this and began advancing on the little familiar. So wrapped up was he in his new target, the fact that familiar's come attached to other winiko completely fled his mind.

Cassi wiggled out and jumped, swatting at Thalia. "Please don't hurt her. She has no manners." Cassi pleaded and shot the candy a stare. Thalia didn't care and was already back up and exploring. She noticed Sparta and began floating around him, looking around and chittering happily.
Cassi only spared the familiars a passing glance before looking back at the warrior. She averted her eyes and shuffled her feet. "I'm sorry. I really am." Her voice got quiet and soon she said nothing and didn't move. She expected a tongue lashing like she would have gotten at home from her bond mate Jun.

Joxer stopped mid-advance with a paw up in the air and teetered like that for a few seconds before losing his balance and falling over. He immediately picked himself back up and tried to look dignified in front of the little winiko that had just popped out of nowhere.
"Oh. Er... hi. I mean, what? Why are you sorry?" He blinked at her in confusion and glanced over at the familiar who was now circling Sparta. "Because of that familiar? Is she bothering you?" He stood up as tall as he could and stuck his neck out in his best regal pose, then swooped himself into a bow. Accidently bending so low he bonked his nose on the ground. "Ow..." He muttered. Then, quickly righting himself, he smiled warmly at the young demon and asked in his best voice, "Do you require assistance from a mighty warrior such as myself?"

"What? No, Thaila isn't much of a problem. She just doesn't have manners." She looked back up at Joxer. "You... you aren't going to scold me?" She said softly as he bowed and bumped his nose. "You aren't hurt are you? You took such a nasty fall earlier." She was afraid his lack of coordination may have been caused by that fall. She looked at him in concern.

Joxer cocked his head at her in confusion. "Scold you? Why would I do that? What did you do? You don't look like an evil fiend..." He swished his tail around his paws, looking down at the young demon. Was he really ever that small? Wow. Weird. "Of course I'm not hurt. Mighty warriors don't get hurt you know." He winked at her and performed an almost flawless 360 degree twirl in the air. Unfortunately his landing was a bit off and he fell flat on his bum, with both back paws tucked under him. Ok, that hurt a little bit. He kicked his feet out and stood on them trying to hide his shaking, he'd just crushed his toes after all. "See, warriors feel no pain." He smiled crookedly at her.

"There is an older Winiko at my residence that will often scold me for not controlling Thalia." She replied. "She looked curious when he said she didn't look evil. "I should say I'm not evil. Unlike my siblings, I take after my mother. My father would be the vial evil." She replied. "He keeps his treasure and never shares, and will have nothing to do with me."
Cassi jumped when he landed awkwardly, and was about to try and rush closer to aid him when he stood tall and said he was yet unharmed. "You're amazing sir... um... I'm afraid I don't know your name, good sir."

Joxer giggled silently to himself. Hee, she called me sir. He stood up tall as he could and sucked in a deep breath. "I am known all over the land as..." He paused for the ultimate affect, "Joxer the Mighty." He smiled down at her, "But you may call me simply Joxer."
He looked her over again and commended himself for such amazing judge of character. Definitely not evil. He wasn't used to this politeness thing either. Everyone at the Cabin was kind of a jerk... "So, you say your father's evil, eh? Need me to dispatch of him for you?" He punctuated his words with swift jabs of his clawed paws into the air. He ended up looking a bit like a windmill.

She watched him with adoration. "If you could, I think I would be sad. I do not wish harm on him... but if he could learn a lesson in kindness, I would be ever great full to you, Joxer." She bowed slightly to him. Thalia was still floating around Sparta- behaving for once even. She looked at the familiars for only a moment, then back to this regal knight and his unusual moves.

Joxer's ego was inflating by the second. It's a miracle his head didn't float away from his body. "Well young lady, would you care to take a walk?" He stood up and bowed in the direction of the forest path. At least he learned some things from his father. "I don't think I ever asked your name..." Idiot. You can't protect someone if you don't even know their name! He inwardly smacked himself.

Suddenly wondering if she had forgotten her manors, she bowed. "Cassiopeia. Though if it is more convenient, you may call me Cassi." She said standing up again, and moving closer to the male's side. He was big. Not like her mother or father, but still big. She felt a little safer being beside him. "I would be honored to escort you wherever your travels are taking you." She began walking beside him. "So you're a warrior, are you not? A knight perhaps?"

Joxer trotted along, keeping Cassi on his inside shoulder in case someone were to come raging down the path. He learned that trick from one of his dad's old movies. Something about guys walking next to the street... He'd never seen a street, except on TV, but he supposed this was kind of similar.
"Cassi... that's a fun name!" He was starting to revert into a more casual voice, The one that was more himself and not the one he put on when he was in warrior mode. "Yup. I was born to be a warrior. Fighting and using my cunning brain to defeat the enemy. Well... sometimes. I'm a little bit clumsy..." This last part was mumbled barely above a whisper.
He grinned sideways down at her and smiled at her little wings. Hjarn had wings, and so did Jaye, and that new guy Razz who creeped him out. But there's were all big and intimidating. Hers were pretty. "So, what do you like to do?"

"Dear Joxer, everyone has moments of ill grace. I have tripped over my own paws before. It's nothing to be ashamed of." The young girl smiled at him. I enjoy walking and looking for flowers. My human bond has shown me how to make a wreath of flowers. Beyond that- well, I really do not know." She fluttered her little wings slightly. The gossamer green appendages shimmering in the light.
"Joxer?" She said as they rounded a small bed in the path. Reeds around the lake could be seen. She shook her head. "Oh, never mind."

Joxer nodded along with her as she talked and tried to feel less embarrassed by his clumsyness. "Flowers, huh? That's pretty neat. You'll have to show me how to do that sometime. Maybe I can make a flower helmet." He chuckled to himself as they approached the edge of the lake.
He padded into the shallows of the water and splashed about a bit. "Come on in!" he called happily. "The water is great for swimming today!"
