.[Recognition & Breeding Overview].

The Peke Na are pretty lax when it comes to breeding. There are a few things that you need to know, though, and an FAQ for easy reading.

• 1. - Adolescent breedings are allowed, as long as they follow both the pack and shop rules.
  
  
• 2. - Rogue breedings are allowed.
  
  • 2a. - Female members + Rogue male = Pack lines
    
  • 2b. - Male member + Rogue female = Rogue lines
    
  • 2c. - Rogues that are visiting within the pack lands or near it's borders are only allowed to stay if they are well behaved. If your wild dog is there to rape, maim, or kidnap they will be driven out and possibly killed if caught. Any rogue with challenges or accusations (Such as for custody of pups.) against pack members must have them taken before the Chieft(ess) - Wisdomchaser to resolve.
    
  • 2d. - Keep in mind that we don't want the pack overrun by one bloodline. Read the FAQ's.
  
  
• 3. - Surrogates - Bear in mind it's not likely to be looked at as surrogacy so much as sharing mates and then deciding who will be, primarily, raising the pups. The ENTIRE PACK helps in rearing any pups resulting from breeding. There are no "struggling single mothers/fathers" in the Peke Na.
  
  
• 4. - Under no circumstances is there to be any pup kidnapping or random runaways. Pack members are allowed to come and go once they're old enough (Adolescent) to be considered adults. There are Finders, IC'ly, who will search for and retrieve any pups found to be runaways or lost.
  
  
• 5. - To make sure this is clear: You are not allowed to breed for pack lines unless you are on this list. Please make sure that you've read, understand, and are in compliance with all the information in this thread before posting in order to ensure approval.

.[Recognition & Breeding F.A.Q.].

Question: ..... How many mates is my wild dog allowed to have?

Answer: The pack is polygamous by nature, this means that mates can be shared freely if all involved parties are consenting (This is a key word!).

Question: ..... So I can start a harem?

Answer: No. Members can share mates, but mates are free to come and go as they please from relationships. The key words are CONSENTING ADULTS. Also bear in mind that because wild dogs produce larger litters (8 max) it would be painfully easy to overrun the pack with puppies. Please, for those that own males, consider the conditions and SPACE OUT YOUR BREEDINGS. It would be highly frowned upon (IC'ly and OOC'ly) for a male to father more pups than he can actually help RAISE (Don't dump all the work on the pack and the mother.).

Question: ..... So what happens if my rogue male has multiple breedings lined up?

Answer: If a rogue male is going to father two litters then he will be required to join the pack until the pups of at least one of the litters are adolescent.

Question: ..... Are there any special rules for breeding?

Answer: Only regarding rogues: Rogue males may breed with female members and get pack lines. Rogue females who breed with male members will get rogue lines. Rogues visiting the pack must be on good behavior or they will be driven out (IE: We don't want drama right now.).

Question: ..... But I have this really awesome plot idea I really want to use! The rogue male my WD is breeding with ISN'T the nice type. What should we do?

Answer: You can certainly propose your plot/idea to us. Ship a PM to the mule and we can discuss, but please keep in mind we will be approving very, very few of these plots. It would take nothing shy of a miracle for someone to get away with anything, let alone unscathed (An entire pack with guards, a guardian god, and the god of Karma (of all things) hanging around near the lands, it's not a good time to be in the kidnapping or molesting business.).

Breeding for the Peke Na is, barring some type of plot event, always open!

For pairs that are life mated you only need to post once and you will stay on the list until/unless the relationship is dissolved. If either dog breeds outside of that relationship, however, they will need to post each time.

Three-matings can also be added to the list as a life-mating, meaning that if there is any type of mix of males and females in the relationship (Ex: Risktaker x Wisdomchaser, Dapplespot) they always have permission to breed (Ex: Risktaker may produce pups with either female at any given time without needing to apply for permission again.). Three mates per relationship is the limit for the permission list.

You must be approved each time you wish for your WD to breed, however. Make sure that you've read the information above already. In order to be on this list you should make sure you're within those conditions/rules. To be approved/receive pack lines for your breeding, in addition, the mother must already have her cert. Wolfnames are not required for rogues who join the pack, but all pups born into the pack must have a proper wolf name (See this post for information about wolf names.).

• 1. - Post the form for approval.
  
  • 1a. - You'll receive a stamp of approval and be added to the list.
    
  • 1b. - In the event or a problem we'll reply with the issue that needs to be addressed, or owners may be PM'ed.
    
  • 1c. Either way, keep an eye on this thread for your breeding's status.
  
  
• 2. - When all pups have been homed you must post to

this thread with your litter information.

• 2a. - Failure to do so means that you won't be approved the next time you want to breed your wild dogs.
  
• 2b. - We will post "Complete" next to your couple's name on the list once you have posted your litter's information. Next time you apply your couple will have a new/different spot on the list. These are listed in order of approval.
  
• 2c. - You'll automatically be changed from "Pending slot" to "Complete" for your breeding status on the list.
