Okay, she was bored. The usually quite easily entertainable little hyena teenager had finally hit the boredom streak. She flicked her knubbin of a tail, and sort of pranced about, though her prance seemed to have the look of complete boredom to it as well.
She had been entertained by the quarreling birds for a long while. She had sat in the underbrush, hidden, as momma had told her to do while hunting. Though she hadnt been hunting then.. She was merely being captivated by the scene at hand.
But all too soon, the birds took off as a stray wildebeest, dashed through the clearing, nearly pummeling the little hyena had she notbeen paying attention.
Now here she was, walking, with a look to her eyes that was searching for anything to capture her interest. She was not a good bored hyena.. She was quite an emotional bored hyena, so she knew she needed to entertain herself and quickly.
She sniffed, her nose picking up the gruff scent of lion. She knew that most resided in the area, but she had never truly given any thought to it. After all, she had never met a lion.. Caution was key..But that voice in the back of her head made her smile.
"Finally, something interesting."

Satiku had found himself lazing about once again. His head flopped over onto the rock and his hair blustering about in the wind. He gave a small yawn curling his tounge about his teeth. Then stuck a large paw over his nose. Itching it once or twice then just refusing to move it out of sheer lazyness.
From his half opened eyes he barly took notice of a small flock of birds obviously startled in the distance. He yawned again this time larger making up his mind to go back to sleep. But as he seemed to be crossing over into dream land a startled wilderbeast ran straight at him, and if not by a few inches of luck almost landed on him by surprise while jumping to avoid whatever had startled the birds.
He then gruffled growled at it in passing 'Your lucky I like hunting better in the night beast, or I'd make you my next meal.' He shuffled over so that he was now sitting on the rock. Tail curling about his front paws fustrated that his nap had been interupted. Was it too much to ask to have a twenty hour nap? But as he was finishing that thought his own head began to hang down low as if he couldn't fight the exsaustion anymore.
Maybe he would just lie down and try again...

Of Course, Little Esperanza was not one to leave anyone alone once she saw them..So the lions hope of more sleep was about to be disturbed and completely ruined. She saw him as she perked her head out from the tall grasses that she had been hiding in. Her ears perked, and her legs straining to get her tall enough to see over the top of the grass and to see the lion more closely.
"You!" She yelled, bounding over to him with her dainty, small little paws. She giggled,l ooking at the blue male sleep, his white mane thrown about himself.
"Hey! Come on now, its daylight. Surely there are better things to do than sleep." She said, prancing around him.

'You've got to be kidding me...' He rolled his eyes and perked up his head again to get a better look at what was harrassing him. It was a young Hyena from the looks of it. Prehaps had it been night time he would have considered eatting it. But during the daytime he wasn't much of a 'lion'. Just lazy.
"And your not going to let me sleep why?" He raised a brow at her and followed her with a ear. Prehaps he could drown her out and ignore her enough to go back to sleep. His eyes glazed for a few seconds and his head began to droop again. 'Maybe if I ignore her she'll go away like that wilerbeast did.' Taking another yawn his front paws began to slide down the rock causing him to colapse with it.

She smiled, flicking the little poofy tail she had and prancing over to him, sticking her pink nose in his face, though not touching him.
"Because the world is living out there, and you..well..Youre sitting around like a bump on a log!"
She said with another grin. Oh she loved meeting others, and perhaps her father should have instilled the fear of lions in the little girl, but she had never learned to fear them.
"My name is Esperanza."

From the poof of his mane that landed infront of his eyes he took a long groan again. Obviously I'm not going to get any sleep right now... He picked himself up from the rock again then looked at her with a long sigh.
"Sakitu." He said trying to humor her shaking his head alittle so they white tuffs of hair would fall from his eyes.
"Actully it's lying..." He corrected her debating whether or not to waste the energy and smile at his own joke. For a half second he almost did. Then desided agaist it. His hair then falling back infront of his eyes making it difficult to see once again.
"Don't mind me asking...but what is a young Hyena like you doing in lion territory?" He raised his brow, yellow eyes perking threw the white once again.

Valenera snoozed the day away, after having been abandoned by her sister who ran off when she hadnt been looking. She wasnt willing to get yelled at yet.. Not yet. So she sat on her little rock, her eyes closed.
She would deal with that when it was time.
She wrinkled her nose at his question. She wasnt afraid of lions, so why wouldnt she be in lion territory. He made the question seem as if she needed to fear the area. She glanced around her. Nope, nothing..
And in the days of walking looking forinteresting things, she had seen no one. So she felt pretty sure she was okay to walk the lion lands.. Of course, if he wanted to change the pace and hurt her..She'd have to unleash of a fury of teeth and claws on him. But she was hoping he wasnt going to hurt her.
"Well, its apleasure to meet you.. But Im always in the lion territory. You just happen to be the lucky soul that I chose to seek!" She said with a grin.

'Oh lucky me...' He thought to himself with a hint of sarcasim. He would have been much better off had he appeared as a 'bump' and not a lion. Alls he wanted to do was take a nap. At least though she was lucky that he was one of the least dangerous lions on the savannah. Grumpy slightly but he was never one to lash out at another- he even limited himself on prey animals; because well he didn't have the heart most of the time to kill them. And he was also lazy. Even during his most succefull hunts he'd often find himself just giving up and colapsing for a mid-summer nap; oh how the prey animals must have found that slightly amusing. Like some demonic game of tag.
He turned his head towards her again and cocked it again the white whisps landing in his eyesite. "Your pretty brave then young one. I know if I wasn't a lion I'd be the furthest from lion territory...then again I really don't associate much with them anyway." He mused to himself about his rouge status.

When the sun started to set, she yawned, sprawling out, and leaving her little spot. She was tired, yet she knew that as soon as she got home, she'd be searching for her sister.
She wanted to sleep, so she knew that if her sister was not in that cave, then she was going to be angry.. She was always wandering off.
size=9] She smiled, ambling over to his rock, and lying below it, looking up at him. He had looked like a bump, but Esperanza was always exploring, and a bump, could have been a cave... Which she would have explored anyway. So either way the male was doomed to have dealt with her.
"Im not brave. Im just bored." She said, and seemed to smile as if she had told the most clever joke.
Her little creme colored tail flicked a bit, brushing some of the dirt off her white pelt. It sure was hard to stay white out in the wild..
Her mother had always taught her the value of a bath.
"So Sakitu, is lazing around all you do all day, every day?"

"Well-" He was about to say something defensive- like his life wasn't about lazing...but then that would be a lie. And he was honest as well as nice. "Yea thats pretty much all I do young one." He felt his paws dragging forward onto the rock once again then in seconds. POOF he colapsed onto the rock his white mane taking a second dely and falling after him. It must have made him quite strange.
"Bored?" He cocked his head at her now being lower and able to see her better. "Bordom is never a good thing without being brave...It gets lots of people into trouble. Though-" He paused. "I think trouble might suit you slightly." He then made another half smile at her and yawned again.

Valenera arrived back home, her smile bright. "Daddy Im home." She called. But not two seconds after she entered the cave, he sent her back out to find her sister. She grumbled, a little growl escaping her throat.
"Dammit.."
She smiled and shook her head.
"Its okay I guess. To each their own. I really rather go exploring. ." She said nodding.
She grinned, her tail waving like a puppy's.
"I like trouble. It does suit me. Good eye Mr.Lion." She giggled.

"Well it's rather obvious from my point of view. I don't need an eye to see that." He chuckled the white whisps completly blocking his view. "Any hyena he walks willingly over to a sleeping lion- AND wakes them up is obviously looking for trouble. But I guess it's okie as long as the lion is good tempered." He widdled another small smile at her lucky that she had bumped into him and not somebody else.

Geheim had sent the little lioness to get her. Esperanza had been gone far too long. She growled a bit, angry at having been disturbed in her nap. She flicked her tail a bit, stalking the scent of her.
Finally..She had found her.
"ESPER." She growled.

Esperanza looked up and squealed. "Oh Val!" She looked at Sakitu.
"THis is my sister Valenera." She said with a smile, knowing her father was angry to be sending out Val.

Sakitu nodded rather confused by the whole situation. "Sister?" He thought about it in his mind- but then again he was lazy so it wasn't a very LONG thought. "Well it's nice to meet you Val...as long as you don't plan on waking me up from any naps..." He glanced over the the Hyena at those words.
"I'm sorry if she caused you any trouble." He said to the lioness between yawns. "But don't have her get into any trouble- at least on my account. She's a sweet girl....loud....but sweet." He gave a wink at the lioness probally knowing what she was talking about if they were 'related' anyways.

Val gave a polite nod. "Thank you sir. She is sweet but shes a thorn in her sleeping sisters side." She said, emphasis on the word 'Sleeping.' "C'mon Val." She said, turning to head back.
Esperanza grinned, waving with a paw. "It was a pleasure to meet you Sakitu! I hope you enjoy your slumber!" She said with a smile, and then followed suit after her sister.
