 Large and barb cut paws made their way across the shallow snow, the slush both noisy and wet against his movements. It wasn't terribly annoying, but just enough so to make Dardanos' muzzle tighten. Where was the hard crunch of dry sand beneath him? It was much more tolerable than this...
Large ears slapped against his rugged shoulders as the Nightmare glanced to the side. A sightless glance. There was a new smell approaching, and he halted curiously to find out what it was.

Oh how bored she actually was. Pandora had sat in the snow for far to long waiting for something fun to happen. Standing she had shook the snow from herself and wandered off. She didnt notice the presence of another nightmare. She really didnt care at this point. She learned long ago not to prank her brother and xanatos, so that courtesy automatically extended to other nightmares as well. She rounded the corner and paused. now hearing the steady breathing of the other nightmare. If she could have seen she would have looked. So instead she just patiently sat on her haunches. A bit of a cheesy smile graced her maw, not that the other nightmare could have seen it, but it was obvious in her voice as she spoke. " Hello biggrin " her head tilted. waiting for the response.

There was a heavy crunch to the snow ahead of him. Then all was quiet, save for breathing. Was this other individual waiting? Or perhaps it had been an angelic, fluttering away to his appearance. But no...he hadn't heard wings flapping. Taking some more steps, Dardanos canted his head from side to side. The smell was still near, and he froze when a voice cut through the silent air.
Large face turned in the direction or the sound and tongue forked out curiously. Why...he was right in front of this other kitsu. But what boring species was it this time. Pray not another Bobtail...
"Optimistic, are we?"

what in the hell did he mean by that. She pondered this for a long moment, before she was distracted by a fluttering sound. Her large paw smashed whatever it was. She wondered if it was tasty. However the crunch told her it was only an old leaf and she snorted sniffing at it for a moment. Now she was bored again. The scent of the other nightmare reminded her for only a split second that he was a quandry to her senses. " Whats that supposed to mean.. "

The male bristled as he was replied with noises instead of words. His back spines lashed quietly as he tried to figure out the source. Was it her paws? Another creature? But he left that mystery alone as she asked a question of him. "Why, your voiccce. It sssounded...bemused. I could only imagine why...."
Curious to what exactly he was talking to, Dardanos allowed one spine to quiver and reach forward. Like a boneless paw, searching for the individual he was speaking to. That is, if they weren't already numb from the snowy air.

Pandora paused again head tilted the other way. Bemused.. that was a new one to her. " I guess" she said her big paw coming down on another leaf. Drat. she thought to herself. Though she was suddenly poked by one of the spines. She squeaked and fell over " the hell " she said glaring, well if she could anyways over at the direction of the creature. A low hiss left her and her nails dug into the ground

Well that had been unexpected. Was the other a kit?....No, her voice was too deep to belong to tiny lungs. Right?
Clicking his tongue to his raw muzzle, Dardanos tilted his head towards the sound. "Did I startle you? Best learn not to be so clumsy...." His brows narrowed though to another sound. Heavy nails scrapping into the earth. "Now now then, I hadn't known. You're a Nightmare as well."
How interesting.

The other kitsu looked affronted" Ill have you know i am perfectly PLEASANT to look at" she huffed. compleatly unaware that he ment species instead of what she looked like. " Are you always so charming to all the ladies." she paused again rubbing her muzzle with her paw" I really didnt mean that i only heard someone else say it and thought it fit" she laughed and rolled to her side to scratch an itch

Ears went stiff before slowly drooping downward. Was this other individual...serious? Or was she just tossing out her own sense of scornful humor? Like his blasted mother. His stitched face grew dark to the memory of his parent, before he quirked an ear to his company. "Charming? Pft, I don't know the meaning of the word." He grinned despite himself and took a heavy step forward with a tilt of his head. "So, you're like a bird that chirps whatever it pleases?"
